I noticed recently when i use spectral walk to gain swiftness while under effect of shadow refuge, the invisibility time gets way shorter. It doesn’t get cut off when using other means of swiftness or none at all.
I’m wondering if this is a bug or not, because i so far found no information about it.
Well, Teq fps is better than the fps I get in Maw fractal..
Scepter for conditions, definitely. Off-hand is something you choose of course, it’s not as important.
Staff for a lot of aoe. Most necros have staff as secondary weapon, although I really like it for the piercing and aoe.
You could try the Necromancer forums if you need help, might be more response there.

Necros are good with everything. They don’t have to be ALL about conditions though, there are many ways to build them. I manage quite well in both PvP, WvWvW and PvE. And they are insanely fun.
I’d say try a necro. If you don’t like it, delete it. As simple as that.

It’s too hard. At first I thought it was better for low end computers, but it’s actually really laggy. Too much jumping, and less exploring and thinking. Too easy to get hurt and stuff also.
I think everyone who is complaining is mostly overreacting…
Look, combo kills was bad and it got removed..
Besides, whats most important is that there is only one tier, you barely don’t need anything.
- Underwater, just go to low level zone OR just kill those white mobs with one hit.
- Crafting, requires pretty much nothing. Just create 10 copper ingots or something alike. You’re not wasting anything and it’s easy.
- Reviving. Once again, contested waypoints or low level zones usually have many npcs dying a lot.
- Dodging. It’s easy.
Dailies before took much longer time than the new ones in my opinion. The most annoying thing with the dailies is the Event one, and it doesn’t seem like its going away any time soon.
And then again, like many people said, no one is forcing you. If you play WvW you can easily get these too. PvP got their own one. And someone mentioned TP, but in all honesty, why would you care for the items you can buy if all you do is being on the TP all day?
New dailies are easy and pretty much the same as before, you just haven’t realized it yet.
Oh and well, if you go to a fractal or dungeon. Most of these are completed in no time.

Oh yea, i totally agree.
Gw2 Kinda seems to be heading towards that direction.
I experienced this ofc, in Allods online. New “expansions”, new gear. Whatever you did before just becoming so useless, it’s hard to get back on track. You can’t hop in and continue, you have to be there with proper gear to get new gear :/
But Gw2 isn’t like that yet, and it’s good still.
Although, I can’t help being so frustrated. It used to be fun, until something happened for me, wasn’r game itself, but whatever I do, I get annoyed.

I like the place, enviroment, it’s pretty.
But, mobs there are too hard imo.
Confusion that’s hitting so high numbers it’s ridiculous.
You’re downed, you cant even see if you got negative effect on you, and end up killing yourself.
Karka, taking half your hp in a few seconds before they pause. Sure, not that bad, but I feel so useless. Like, soething is wrong..
Conclusion anyway, if it keeps going this direction, as stated in vid, it will be bad. I know it, i experienced it.
Sure, that’s a long time into the future though. But why not stop it now?

5 Dungeons in 1 month is hardly anything to cry about..
Pretty sure you buy it with the Token you get from finishing personal story.

I think weapons we have at the moment are fine.
Anythign more would be confusing or something else would have to be removed.

PvP with necro = stay super range and undeteced!
Easier said than done tho :/
I don’t like minion builds in general.
Flesh golem is good for knocking down a lot of mobs, aiding party. Also adding a lot of damage.. if it attacks the right target.
Just depends where the party is at, and how you play. Sometimes, if runnign past a group, minions can be used as decoy. But yea, it really depends.
I noticed that I also ignore these minor traits.. hmm
I’m currently 20/30/20 Staff, scepter + dagger.
It works fine, lot of aoe and damage.
Dungeons as stated, different skills to support and keep yourself alive.
Actually, in dugeons minion builds work pretty fine, unless you have to carefully pull a mob.
Cause, you mostly kill everything, and not to worry about it running wild. Depends how your party plays though. Play smart of course.
Boss fights, alike, Golem is good, else.. not so.
Traits im using seem to work fine, but I noticed some others being.. less good.
Yea, for sure. Some fixes with traits, skills, damage, and it’s all good. But overall is ok.
This forum does need more peppy threads though :)
Everything else is scaring other people away from playing.
I actually like the necro and the skills.
Sure some buffs to damage would be nice in a decent amount,
but let’s face it. It’s not that bad.
… Yea well.. except for the minions and the Golem running around.. doing weird stuff.. but nvm that…
And the elites.. would be good to have a signet elite, since most of the time, the elites aren’t that good, might as well have some sort of passive.
But rest is good, just switch between 2 weapons a lot and use a hybrisish build which has lot of direct dmg as well as condition dmg.
I’m just saying, it’s not that bad.

And yea, I change accordingly to dungeon, also I am used to bosses having tactics and being hard. But some of these are just ridiculous.
But point of this post is mostly about this boss bugging. And also that it is kinda weird pulls are harder than some bosses.
I’m pretty sure many are aware of this boss, and i kinda want to bring up the issues with him again.
It spawns mobs that despawn randomly and spawn again. They are not normal mobs but veterans.
Some say that he didn’t spawn any mobs at all before, and all of a sudden he does. Made a player in party quit because of it.
This boss is in current state way too hard and needs too much time to finish. You will just end up dying and running back hoping he didn’t reset alike.
Not to mention it’s not the only dungeon having hard pulls/bosses. It should be doable for people with not full exotic and lesser skilled players.
Currently it seems you have to have super solid tactics with awesome mega skills to do a dungeon at certain times.
So yea, boss too hard. Mostly bosses are ok in dungeons but some pulls time craving.
It would, imo, give too many options on gameplay and get a bit confusing.
But death shroud could do more conditions :)
I’m no ranger, at the moment anyhow.
But, it somehow bugs me when i see pets not being named. All walking around being Juvenile.
Is this just me or does anyone else thinking same silly things as me?
Might be fun with a generate pet name button for lazy people :)
Or if people could just name them “Test Subject 203” or something alike, more fun for everybody in my opinion.
- What do you think? Non named pets bugging you? Opinions on the.. “matter”?
