What if like Glint, the Pale Tree is not under the dragons influence? and she has held back his corruption of the Sylvari until Scarlet tampered with it? Could there be a “good” dragon not bent on domination? There are other pale trees in maguma but are they all the same? the Maguma jungle has been said to be dying and drying up…. how would a jungle dragon survive there? most of the dragons are far away from where the champions attack soooooo….. fill in the blank

Why not move the dungeon vendors over to claw island? its fortified and gets used twice in PS… it needs love too…

Ya’ll seem to forget that when Orr rose it destroyed Lions Arch. But they rebuilt out of the parts that were left. When the King of Kryta surrounded LA and demanded unconditional surrender to the Krytan state what happened? The people of Lions Arch stood together and fought the Krytans and the undead armada that came from Orr…AT THE SAME TIME. They took the ships that they used to build homes and shops with and rebuilt ships and sailed to an epic victory! The people of lions arch are used to being attacked and will come out on top. Its that unity that they all share that makes them an unrelenting force to be reckoned with. It may take a while, but Lions Arch WILL recover.

All jokes aside (which is hard to do at this point) exactly what will happen to Zommoros? He’s literally imprisoned within the Mystic Forge but as we know Djinn are very powerful, so will he be freed during this time? How will they transport him? Build a new forge in Vigil’s Keep and he somehow “magically” gets there? No pun intended. kitten I said no jokes.

So as pulled from the wiki “Djinn are relentless when defending the items, places, and causes they protect”

I don’t know about you guys but I really hope there is an event involved in kicking butt with Zommoros. If he considers the Mystic Forge his thing to protect, anet could make this epic.

As a practical matter, there are a ton of access points to the Mystic Forge: conduits, Div Reach’s Royal Terrace, the WvW maps, and a couple of other (less notable) ones. I think of the Forge as being hidden in the mists and it just so happens that LA includes a hole in the fabric of space/time in which we can see The Toilet. i.e. Zommy is in the Forge, but there’s nothing imo that ties the Forge to LA.

However, I really like your idea anyhow, as a way to tweak the story.

Regardless of whether my theory is true, it would still be really interesting to see some of the NPCs in LA (and elsewhere) rally for battle, for whatever personal reasons they have. The skritt in the tunnels, the raisin-faced child, the racist haggler near the trading post, and, yes, Zommy himself.

The Charr were taking back the rightful land that was theirs. the Ascalonians took it from them. they got what they deserved. that’s why I voted for Kiel.

the end of the JP where the captain is the texture models are not right, like they haven’t been created and are a blue box type structure.

As for as settlers armor, Come over to Blackgate, we smash them all day long.
and for Celestial, I cant see using more than one set of this and it being worth while… the stats are not great.

I play a lot, I don’t use the forge all that much but in terms of drops and RNG and the like here’s what I’ve learned:
My account has more “luck” than others I play with e.g. more rare drops, more dye drops, tickets and such. I don’t know how it has happened but It does, and it make people made at me the dragon bash event with the jade tickets, I got one after only 25 coffers, other I play with it took 2000-5000 coffers. With the forge, ill throw in 4 random blue dyes and get back a green, 4 of those and up one level, then another till I have an exotic dye. It is flawed and it makes it not enjoyable to those who spend a lot of hours playing and farming for legendary weapons and such. I cant explain it but it is what it is. so many unless dyes found on a daily basis….

The living story 2 wek time frame is as already mentioned too short of a time to envelope a person into this content. Maybe 3-4 weeks per LS to give it more of a living feel. 2 weeks after release ramp it up with harder battles or some new “stage 2” fights. I love farming the Scarlet event and try to get it everytime but i feel like all i do is farm now to get my MF% up there and for ascended weapon materials. i thought you guys said it wouldnt be a grind to get the required mats? I like farming but the amount of mats required for some of these are a little OP. (i cant keep enough elder wood to craft to refine my spiritwood planks)
I want the game to feel like it did when Trehierne was seeking counsel from the Pale tree. like i was part of something bigger, some grand plan that will save Tyria. For now im just grinding through mobs and farming to replace all my exotics with ascendeds.
Also the ascended rings/earrings should allow you to put 2 of the same type on a charactor. not just an offensive and defensive one.
