I would play arenas, as long as there is no gear grind attached to it.
I see no reason why they should do it, they can implement new weapons, utilities, and what have you without any problems. They just can add another race more zones and all that stuff which don’t need more levels. So I hope they stay away from that, never liked it in other MMOs.
Rangers are just easy to spot (they even show up on maps because of their almost always dead pets). I would say Mesmer also quite popular, but maybe I pay more attention to them because I play one myself.
One can get most vistas without doing a jumping puzzle, and most jumping puzzles are not required to get the map complete. I like how ArenaNet did it (compared to how BioWare did their Datacrons in SWTOR), but maybe it is just because the jumping physics in GW2 are not that painful.
ArenaNet could simply code the game so that it always prefer looting, and second then revive (it is so annoying if I try to revive someone but all I get is talk with some NPC who stands there idle around).
I would rather have a separation in interact with opjects and persons, so that my character don’t start talking when I actually try to repair the gate in WvW or just want to interact with some item for one of those heart quests. Because I don’t see how there a priority could work, sometimes I want to talk with the NPC instead of picking up the weapon which lies next to him.
I like the Norn and Charr starting zones most.
Fan / Warfan (I want one for my mesmer)!
I was also going with the shortest height possible for my female norn, now I feel tiny for a norn but still huge comparred to humans. But since she is mesmer she don’t mind it to be that short, and she has her clones anyway.
I still hope that we might see one day mounts which just grand you a swiftness buff…
On the current situation, I think one problem is that those zones were not tested enough, but maybe it will get better when more players arive at those levels and actually keeping the waypoints protected.
I am fine with how ArenaNet does that in GW2.
You also just can walk from map to map, there are gateways between maps, you will find them in time when you explore some more.
I have people on different servers in my guild, no problem there. So it should be possible to keep all benefits when switching.
Black Lion salvage kits should be exempt from karma item salvage prohibition.

For several days after launch I was happily breaking down karma items, and vendoring them too. Unfortunately the developers fix to exploits is to eliminate a key source of coin and crafting materials.
I hope that is only a temporaly solution. As long as it is that way I don’t buy any Karma stuff.
Nope, if you want to get all maps complete you have to go to the WvW maps. Bset do it when your server has the upper hand or at night, possibly both at the same time.
Even if you decide to go separate ways in the story, you still can play the instances together.
I am used to play stealth classes in MMOs, but I think I have become accustumed to how it works in GW2. As Mesmer there is a trait to get one second more (as grandmaster), guess the Thief will also have such an option.
Currently I use one stealth on my weapons (Torch) and one from the Utilities (Decoy), those two the two dodge rolls and my illusions help to run through hostile zones (another utility to get rid of conditions like crippled could also be helpful).
Basically ArenaNet decided to go without perma stealth in favour of having a vanish option in combat more often. I like that approach, and it is part of how well I survive in PvP.
Yes, I also would prefer to have more detailed descriptions about some traits. Also I would like to know what crit chance my illusions have to make an informed decision if Fantasmal Fury is needed for the Mesmer build I have in mind or if my illusions have the same crit chance as my character has.
They are adding a mail report option tomorrow night. Stop whining
They did by now, but what is the correct option Spam or Scam?
I reported them so far as spam, but scam seems also not wrong. Maybe there should be a direct option to report as goldseller.

He should contact support.
I think you shouldn’t be too single minded with your stats. Also going into the heart of the mist an tinker with the PvP gear there (and maybe even test it in fights) lets get you some perspective on how useful what might be to you.
Heh, usually EU suffers from that – like maintenance during daytime in Europe (because of US). Now it’s vice-versa. Funny.
Just what I was about to post.
Playing Norn Mesmer, hadn’t much trouble for the first twenty levels (took the Mists and Revange story, okay during the championship fights I had basically kited for an enternaty to get the oponennts down). The story arc to join the Priory started to become truly painful, especially Silent Warfare was not possible for me alone (I asked two friends to help me). Since then I ask me friends every time I died at least two times in a mission if they would like to help me… maybe it would be a little easier if the mobs would not respawn, so that one can take more time between fights to think about how to approach the next group.
I was almsot level 60 when I did that dungeon first. No it is not needed for your personal story and it don’t show up there.
Playing a Mesmer, having trouble with story instances (lvl 40-50), need tips

Playing Mesmer, but have chosen a different tribal race, nevertheless I also have often problems with the story missions… so I often ask my friends to help me, but since it is called personal story, I think it should be possible to to it alone. And I don’t think the problem is how I play or the build of my character (I do fine in PvP and in Dungeons), just doing the personal story seems pretty hard.
I like the idea that there should be an option to make it visible to the players on other servers…
on the other hand I wait until a large guild decides to roll all equal looking mesmer, which then creats huge numbers of clones to appear like an overwhelming force.
I would like to see mounts in the game. If all one get from them is a swiftness buff it would be nice. Can’t understand why this should be that big of an issue, and I am sure quite a few people would buy neat looking mounts in the cash shop. So everybody would win (and people who don’t like them could still use the swiftness buffs on utilities and weapon skills they have).
