Also I would like to add about HoD. They do have more numbers than FC but with their numbers they are so organized compared to other servers that I have been on. They can queue up multiple BGs because all the large WvW guilds coordinate with each other daily. FC does it once a week it seems like. They don’t treat their “PUGs” like trash they recruit them and train them up (FKB for instance is always turning baddies into goodies). FC we tend to harshly criticize our “PUGs” for not running certain builds. Overall HoD is a great server with awesome players and their player skill is far better than that of FC due to them welcoming new players and giving them advice about WvW. [MU] is a TC guild(?) from what I have learned and HoD welcomed them openly and already coordinates with them like they have been there for ages. We got [PPK] and we basically ignored their existence. They are now super small and not very viable in a zerg fight (You guys are still good players and keep up with the awesome fights!) Overall I’m having a blast fighting you noobs at the windmill. This will be an awesome 2 weeks for me and the others that joined me on this vacation. It is really sad that I read back on previous match ups and FC accuses HoD of being full of scrubs when they overall have better players. A hint towards FC, learn to coordinate better with each other and quit using the word “PUGs” when talking to your zerg, no one likes that kitten.

TLDR: Don’t say a server is bad until you see how they run. HoD is an awesome server and I wish them the best in Silver League!

If you are a skilled player thieves, no matter their skill level, are a little underpowered. I think the nerf is a smack in the face to theives because I personally don’t have a problem with thieves. They need a health pool buff if anything.

1. If you can, try not to run a cheese build. It shows no skill and I will simply run a cheese build on my cheese alt and you will see why to AT LEAST TRY avoid running one.
2. NO TROLLING. You will get owned or asked to be owned/emoted/harassed.
3. NO FINISHING! This has to be brought up everytime or else some dumb FC or SF guy will stomp. DR is pretty squared away on this stuff, I only complain about these two other scrub servers

Reason for FC BL: There is alot of heat in this thread and it’s coming down to skill vs skill. Best bet is to SPvP but half of you nerds won’t do that because more balance makes you realize how much you suck Anyways I picked FCBL because [Yarr] is the only guild that ever shows up. If I choose DR that’s like saying kitten you to all their roamers who ACTUALLY DO show up to these. I didn’t pick SF because I think that their forum warriors should join the fun and walking too far is no fun.

Make a small increase in our health pool so newer guardians don’t get roflstomped by thieves in WvW. at least up to 15k traited no armor. Lower cooldown for virtues. preferably like: VoR to 30 seconds fully traited VoC down to 40 seconds fully traited.
Throw AH and Meditation traits into different traitlines so there would be more variety.

rework virtues and let PoV cure 2 conditions instead of 1. With the current state of WvW we are almost useless. A tanky support class that can’t even condition wipe effectively. GG.

Probably going to quit playing for a bit until next guardian patch or:
1) Condition’s get a nerf. (Reduced Duration by 5% for the amount of condition applied on a single target. Or something else ANET can think of.)

2) Let us cure more than 2 conditions on PoV because face it. 2 wasn’t even enough.

Obviously can’t be both but choose one.

Yes, you do lack SEA and oceanic coverage. It’s FCs and DHs way of keeping up with ppt. But have you even seen your NA prime time? You have numbers that you can’t say you don’t have like kitten said in that kitten post that tickled everyone’s kitten .

being a former fergusons crossing soldier , I was happy to see we got you guys in a match. If anything else it was to see who was still playing there and have some trips down memory lane.

After 2 short sittings of playing ive found very few of the ole school guys left. What replaced them is even more disturbing. Seems like the whole Olympic track team of runners transferred in. Not only do most run for even fights. They run from outnumbered fights in there favor..

I normally make a video or two with some music that fits the mood. But.. wow all I have clips of is people running from me.

What’s going on here ?

I even keep an eye out for this |HP| guild as they show screenshots of slaughtering people 12v2.. I find a few of them.. they run too… Wtf?!

From what you can see with our current score, FC has gotten a zerg mentality now. Everyone wants to blob up. I agree, it’s pretty chickenkitten, but it’s like both DH and NSP. 90% of the time you run across some random pug that doesn’t know how to do anything but spam 1 and you will have to kill him faster than he can run. There are still roamers out there on every server, just gotta find them. =)

Idk man idk I do remember ET once had Agg, felt mighty, them fairweather guilds took your playerbase and down went your ship, we troll for a reason, we are hardcore for a reason, we got offered to bring in t1 guilds, but nah man, we are very shut in, its why our veteran can handle 2+ of you at times, its ok when those fairweather guys take your playerbase again, FC is open, also keep in mind FC has lost a ton of commanders, a ton of guilds, and yet here we are still holding.

I think most of the people posting in this thread was trolling/forum warrioring for fun. Some people took it seriously. (I suggest you laugh and enjoy it.) It felt like the minority rather than the majority to me.

I’m not talking about hese forums… I never really take forum seriously… But when you get yourself called an Idiot on map chat, and people on TS get upset if you keep asking for help to defend/attack an objective, it’s clear that there is somenthing wrong.

People want supplies to get to SMC, but they don’t even bother in defending the supply camps or even taking the enemy mercenary camps (which can overrun the camp). But when you ask for help to clear those things, either you are ignored, or people tell you to shut up.

People want everyone to cooperate with their “master plan”, but not a single word is said about it… These people just want us to follow blindly their instructions because they know what’s good and what’s not.

I left Blackgate for the very same things that are getting me upset on ET now… Maybe it’s a sign to move on?

I really want to thank everyone on ET and their respective efforts to make us a more competitive server. I can still remember couple of months back, we can barely rally 10 people in WvW, and since then, we kicked and fought our way from the (seemingly) perpetual dead-last spot to where we are now. It really made my heart swell with joy and pride to see us coming together as a server.

So, thank you to every commander, every guild, every scouter, every roamer and every fairweatherer that came and fought for ET. Every effort, big or small, trickles down to make a big impact. Tons of respect to all our commanders, they really worked tirelessly to make this big turn-around possible.

If you run AH I would recommend you go with 0-5-30-30-5.
Reason why 5 in virtues is that every time you pop one you get boons and boons heal you.
PTV is an alright choice depending on the situation. I would try to get some CDmg and CChance in the mix. I would start with basing your initial stats off of Zerker gear and do some swapping of gear to meet what you would find to be most effective. Personally, I shoot for at least:

3k + attack
35% + CChance
90% + CDmg
2.7k + armor
15.5k+ Health
500+ Healing Power (I feel safer this way, don’t ask why.)

There is all sorts of runes and sigils you can use its mainly based off your own gameplay and what u find best or just situational.
As for weaps, again, it’s what you prefer. I use a scepter/focus + greatsword for solo activities but depending on the situation, I’ll swap weapons.

When it comes down to roaming with a guardian, it all depends on your gameplay. The stat requirements I put above is what I usually shoot for. Your style can only determine what you would want.

Nah, IoM can’t kill 40 fergs. Earlier a group of us (3 to be exact) owned them in there own camp with mercs. There was about 6-7 of them plus pugs. I’m sure IoM can run the kitten out of fractals just not wvw.

Your talking like IoM is good. I only ever see you in zergs. Thats not a good start nor fun gameplay. And for 15-20 to defend a keep? LOL you better have wiped our zerg instead of holding them off till they got bored. 15 up-levels can run in and out of the keep wiping players. Still know sign of this skill u speak of.
