Guild Wars 2

I’m a total noob at rev, used my boost on him, maxed herald, and now I have no clue how to build him.

My current build is Glint/Shiro and all i do is buff with Glint, then swap to Shiro and go ham. Dunno if that’s the meta, but I was wondering what the ‘best’ build was for rev these days.

Marauder is really nice choice if you don’t mind losing a bit of DPS, as it’s only useful against reflect damage-types passives, since dodging is what you’ll be doing most of the time anyway. However I’d say marauder just because the extra HP can save you if you do mess up a dodge.

As a guys who spends most of his time on thief, YES it is viable, and has better dps than staff, but you need to perfect the rotation otherwise staff is better, but you don’t have Hot so that wan’t matter to you. Even if you can’t, it’s still more than viable to use in Fractals and such.

Thief is amazing, but like Eros said, you need to master dodging for it to be super effective.

Rev, on the other hand, is more forgiving but isn’t that good until you get the elite spec

Just wondering, as a player who came by around the time HoT released, is crafting a character to 80 still possible/viable?
