Nothing to see here. They’re ‘out in force’ time is too late in the evening for me… I have one of those job things that make it difficult for me to stay up past 1am =P

I picked Krew because they were the biggest constant in my play time zone, and I knew them from back when I was on Borlis.

But yes, FA is great. I joined FA about a month ago from JQ. “Why would you leave a tier 1 server that’s winning?” some of you may ask. I joined FA to group with my now primary guild in WvW and anything else in the game, since my JQ guild went inactive months ago (something about lack of endgame in GW2 or w/e). I am glad I made this decision, because its been a fun community to WvW with here. Also, tier 1 has a pretty toxic atmosphere – not one I wanted to be a part of.

How could I forget my little necro friend!! =D

There is only so much pride someone can take in their server, when others don’t. When people talk of throwing matches to drop a tier because the one they are in is ‘too hard’, or the WvW guilds are all in dungeons, or if there is so much incompetence that your head feels like it’s going to explode… OR it stops being fun and you are seriously considering leaving the game – yeah – I’d say that would be grounds to parachute out of the burning plane that is your current server..

Some servers simply do not have a large population of WvW players during specific time frames. I am sure FA complains about being outnumbered for various parts of the day as well. It is completely understandable as few if any like to be run over time and time again by sheer numbers. I suggest treating the posts as venting frustration rather than whining.

Sure are plenty of them out there when we’re winning.

People complain about being outnumbered, yet don’t come out and play…

Hey here’s an idea… instead of kittening about BT, why not find a way to counter them?

We have no oceanic presence. We can’t “heavily defend” anything. The people who owned the omegas were in their own private guild comm.

P.S. That screenshot doesn’t even explain what you’re talking about.

Allow me to explain -

We got a call out from someone on the map – 2 omegas WALKING to hills north gate unprotected. 5-6 mags showed up with them. They got wiped and abandoned their golems while trying to run away…. and we added the omegas to the scrapyard.

All servers have an equal potential to have the rare individual “discover” a consumable for use in WvWvW and set off the back and forth kitten for-tat. Playing this blame game though is not going to solve the issue of people abusing the game mechanic.

I’m just stating the facts – We wouldn’t have known about them as a guild, if we hadn’t been hit with one first.

In other news: Does anyone else get a der|py look on their face when their characters ride a broomstick? I lol’d pretty hard, I won’t lie.

And to keep this from being infracted and removed. I’m loving the matchup even though last night was rough…

Freakily all the talk of these golems in a box started on FA after we were hit by them from DB, i mean this blame game could go in circles for almost ever. But i remember the day i logged on when we were FIRST up against DB, people in chat were freaking out over DB’s ability to destroy rams without siege.. safe to say that day a lot of people on FA begun looking in to them and using them, but if there was use of golems on FA before we came up against DB it was EXTREMELY isolated.

It is rather ridiculous that there are entire zergs or groups of people spamming these spikefruit though, it is the absolute lowest of the low. Granted this stuff should NEVER make it in to WvW, but people should have some sort of decency and not use them.

I can assure you, [EA] did not throw the first golem. And I agree – the PvE consumables that are intended for PvE should NOT be usable in WvW, which is why I don’t, and will not use them.

haha ok.. youre guild got it’s garbage rep because of how often you ALL of you were using them. Sorry kiddo, but EA and DB were the first people I saw using them and I’m out in WvW for hours every night. Try to blame us all you want but a ton of us lost respect for EA because of it.

Well, I’m sorry to hear that – But I was in the Vent channel the day we discovered the golem-in-a-box. One of our officers kept getting hit with them by FA outside of Bay on our BLs, and were like ‘what the heck? I keep getting hit by rockets?’ – they googled what it was and then people started buying them like candy bars. We would have been none the wiser if FA wasn’t using them first.

We learned about golem-in-a-box because FA was hitting us with them and we became curious. Again, for the record, I never personally used them.

For the record, I don’t use them. I don’t agree with them, and you will never see me personally use them. I was getting hit directly by FA with them.

Score update… Pay no attention to the demolition currently going on at Stonemist. FA has about an hour and a half to fix them up. Good defense by DB up until the end.

I would like to compliment Eviana, a new commander on DB who was an instrumental piece in the puzzle that was the defense of the hills last night from that assault in DBBL. S/he was coordinating supply runs and pushing against those FA invaders on the outer wall trying to treb our inner. good try FA.[BT]

I couldn’t have done it without all of you that came and helped us push on defense. I also have to give my guild [EA] (those that came out last night) tons of credit, as they really stepped up and hung in there to keep our Hills. (Popping buffs right away, etc)

Everyone that came to defend deserves credit for that standoff (except those of you that made me cranky by emptying the supply out of Hills anyway =P). Much <3 to you all!
