Stealth and then that sprint will cover a ridiculous amount of ground. You sprint longer and farther if you keep holding the ability down.

When he disappears at the end he might have gone out of combat for a waypoint. Since it covers so much ground you will get OOC pretty quickly after using the sprint.

I just looked at the wiki and apparently there’s a leap too, so it looks like he stealthed > leaped to the drake > then sprinted, so yeah I think it all checks out.

Been leveling an alt this week so haven’t been in WvW at all on my main. So I hop in today wow Kain and Bp are just terrible. It is so sad I can only assume I fought only pve baddies today since every thief I destroyed was running multiple legendary weapons along with 0 skill. Guess I will go back to leveling my alt and wait for real fights with skilled players after this matchup of zergball baddies is over.

Nope. This week has been straight up terrible. Theres been only two guilds that have shown any promise and thats rx and vp. The rest are just embarassingly bad, they make up for it by running in as large a group as possible at all times. Wvw has been either swams of keyboard turners or dead. Cant wait for bp to move up to a higher tier where they belong

Agreed. Though I’ll extend props to REN, RemH, and AI as well. Also DR and CNB are quite the challenge. Usually much larger than us, but it’s fun trying to crack their defenses.

You’re missing the point. The video is showing how you turned tail and ran every time the numbers were evened out, which I may remind you was the comment someone made that started this whole mess.
First fight in particular, there was no pugs on either side. Were you just trying to string us out and flank us or something? I think you guys were far too cautious.

Of course we want to fight, but that does not mean we have to do a pickett’s charge to prove it. Can we all agree that using a tactical retreat while allowing conditions work is just as viable as slugging it out in the mud if your group composition benefits from it?

Seriously? That’s the best you’ve got vs. ZERG? Well, you guys fought the unorganized uplevels at the front very effectively, but that is certainly not “zerging the zerg” when you’re staying within feet of your invulnerability zone, that we know better than to get into. [Os] is a guild we recognize and make sure we’re ready for, but try finding some footage of you actually fighting us if you want to call us out…

The first fight of the video was us trying to fight you. There wasn’t much fighting coming from your end though.

I like how no one ever wants to count the PUGs lol. Don’t worry I wouldn’t have count then either if the situation was reversed it was pretty funny- we chased that char guard in an out of the NSP Zerg for about 30 mins. At one point 4 of us actually charged into that tower as your Zerg was capping it just to get him! Lol good times guys- hope all involved enjoyed the fight.

I won’t quibble with numbers, you can count the pugs if you like. Again, thought you guys fought well which is what we were expecting/hoping for from ex-noqq. No need to be kitten y.

To set the record straight I am the “only” ex-NoQQ" in ZERG. All the other members are Borlis Pass Natives through and through. In all respects this guild is all Borlis Pass with me leading (except on Tuesdays).

I just want to give a shoutout to the [Splt] group yesterday in BP BL. You guys had 4 people and you did an amazing job against my group trying to take back Briar. I was the Human Guardian commander you killed 6+ times.

It’s amazing what 4 people can do.

First fight: I was solo skirting in and out of my zerg trying to make plays, was kind of fun til I dove too deep.

Second fight: had a 3 man + randoms, was a good fight for a while but alas randoms can only take you so far.

Third fight: Clear 3v5 and we did the best we could until I dove too far trying to help a random that came in near the end again (must remember they’re not worth it!)

I’ll take holding my own 3v5 since all we’ve tried to do was get you to come fight us even when it’s 5v7. I could certainly feel you guys focusing me which was my goal all along, isn’t the game more fun when you actually fight!?

Thats the difference Between bp and other servers. Other servers see that as a roamer and let them go fight other smaller opponents. Heck even 1-2 or 1-3 is fair. Bp thinks hyuck let’s chase them all over the map with 20 people.

We just like to have good fights and you won’t hear trash talk from [Splt] if you give us one so don’t be afraid of your egos being bruised (this applies to anyone we fight).

Check the guild tags at the front. That is PAXA joining in with 25+ HoD to try to kill us. I’ve never seen you guys do something like that before. You hit us while we were fighting those numbers. What’s up with that? And what happened to you is precisely the reason why I always try to get my group to pull out and leave in those situations because I’d never want to be caught dying with a zerg at my back like that.

Below is the fight where you added in. Check the tags. It’s HoD. This was not too long after we let you 1v1 the thief. A fight which you won, but we had to kill you because you went to stomp him. People don’t do that in duels.

With all this talk about zergs I thought I’d share some footage of between 5-7 SPLT taking on some IoJ.

Gotta be honest with you, I take on a lot of “small team” groups, and usually die, sometimes I win if I catch them off guard, but you guys… you guys I avoid and back cap. I generally solo run, and mostly to retake camps, and check towers and keeps, but sometimes I will start tossing grenades at you anyway.

I don’t think I have ever successfully stomped any of you, despite my best efforts.

if you see us, invite yourself to our group one day and say hi, we often leave notable soloers alone since theres no point in bowling them over with a group.

Emphasis on the notable. We still bowl over most stragglers.

I don’t believe you especially since Kiwi witnessed that huge numbers on NS BL last night. You guys totally ruined our guild run. With all the coordination and great commanding and skills we had, we couldn’t deal with your numbers and morale. kitten .. that skill lag was really bad. Good job guys and keep it up! Glaeser is speaking for those of us that like to roam and run in small groups. VERY few roamers expected in this matchup. More of a send 20 to take out 5 kinda thing. Or my personal favorite, as happened today in SBI, try 4 vs 3, then 5vs3, then screw it Zerg em…. Lol.

Yeah I’ve seen some good players but they’re usually surrounded by 10+ other people (this is an exaggeration… sometimes). Pretty frustrating already.
I know we’re in the minority, especially this high up in the ratings, but we just want some good, fun, semi even numbers fights.

I’m curious, Starkk, and I hope you don’t mind the question. When you charge at the head of your zerg into a smaller enemy force and your troops are slow to follow, leading to your staking, do you rail at them in mapchat or just accept it as the hidden price of that commander pin? I ask because the common response to that by (certain) commanders on my server seems to be “see ya I’mma go to EB now,” but I’ve seen you persevere through it a number of times.

I just wonder why so many people are afraid of dying (that and im used to my gaurdian and being tanky) When i know its a smaller force that we’re dealing with, the fight can be over and won a lot quicker if we all charge in, though most of the time its just me, its always a good laugh for me at least, and im amazed the times that i dont get flagged and it actually works

But no i dont run off to other maps, ill keep headbutting a gate until its ours no matter how long it takes!

I would also kill to hear what was going on in your VOIP during all that, even though I know that will probably never happen. I’m always interested to hear how different groups handle those situations. (besides the obvious “ignore that purple chick, she’s useless”)
I knew we were in for some fun when your first group of 5 held your own against our initial ~10. My official excuse is that you had some monster tanks, a ton of guard shouts, and we had a few uplevels. Still, though. I already told Purimm your group was impressive, and I mean it. Every time I’ve run into you SPLT/SPCA guys, I’ve had a good time.

Hey thanks again for the kind words. Purimm actually doesn’t even use voice so there’s no chance of that. If he did you’d hear a lot of complaining about mesmers and thieves, and likely a lot of, erm, colorful language from myself. I assure you we had much fun though.

To be honest I wasn’t expecting very much this week, being against higher tier servers, but it’s actually been surprisingly fun and we’ve faced some pretty good players/guilds. Thanks for the fights.

Yuck, SF. I’m not sure, we in Splt have just been hopping around the BLs looking for a decently large group that we can poke and prod until we bite off more than we can chew and get wiped, then we rez up and do it again. We almost never go to EB.

No hard feelings if(when) we do come across you and my bloodthirsty group runs you over solo. We’re kind of kittens, not even uplevels are safe!
