The trebs can be taken out with counter siege. I have done it myself and seen someone on a different server take them out to. Every server has placed these trebs in those locations. Even T1 servers.
Do I like them, I will say this, It is really frustrating to fight under one of these trebs. The first thing I do when I move to take a Northern tower is look for a citadel treb, if I see one, I drop counter siege and take them out. Problem solved.
WOW, all the hate in here, I am shocked ANET has not deleted this thread already.
BG was a server that had most of there WvW guilds inactive, now that the new patch came out, BG Guilds are out in force. They are able to QUE maps 24-7. Great for BG bad for any other servers they face.
So if YB goes down to T2 for a bit, that’s ok, we will fight are way back up.
People defending exploits…wow…, anet this is what happens when you allow this to go on.
I am not defending it, just stating that you need to find a way to take it out, that’s all. Anet will take them out when they can, then people will complain that there gone.
This was placed inside of YB’s spawn aimed @ NWT on YBBL. Can’t attack it etc. Fix pls?
Trebs have been placed there for some time now. Every server knows about it and how to take them out.
Open your mind and think out side the box and you will find your answer.
OCX and SEA players will add great value to our community and strengthen the weak link. Give us a shot

It really depends what server you are on to be able to say WvW is dead. T1 has action almost all the time. There is about 2 hours per day it is quiet, that’s it. As for Hot, well it’s a toss up. The new areas are cool but some what hard to do by yourself. Hope this helps you.
As you all know, most of the servers WvW population has faded away. If you really want good action in WvW, T1 has it. From mega Blobs to Havoc groups. If you want more info, whisper me in game or send me an email.
Tongku.5326 That was a trolly thing to say about Yaks Bend. I am from that server and I do not, I repeat, do not spend time in towers and keeps on arrow carts taking pot shots at players passing by. If a Blob of Red happens to attack our keeps then I will get on an arrow cart and rain thunder on them.
So I would love to get into WvW! Ive played barely any of it sadly, and as of right now dont want to, the server im in (Eredon Terrace) has barely any players and with the new megaserver every aspect of the game is great! except WvW. With HoT coming i would love to play the new borderlands map but once again i dont think i will be able to get any enjoyment out of it with no playerbase on my server. I know you can pay to change server but i feel thats sorta stupid :/
I’m very sorry man, really, I spent about a year and a half in that neck of the woods, but if you’re on ET, it will be painful and discourage you from WvW. You will also never get to experience one of the main features, really epic battles. Best you can hope for is medium size group fights and roaming.
You have to transfer, also, depending on your timezone, if you like playing at hours different then just NA prime time, transfer to any of the T1 or T2 servers except Yak’s Bend.
If you transfer to Yak’s Bend expect to spend a LOT of time sitting in towers and keeps on arrowcarts doing nothing but taking puck shots at passers by. And I mean a LOT of time, probably most of your time in WvW.
Also, HoT isn’t gonna save it, at best it will be a bit better at resets and prime time for like 2-3 weeks, then it will die down again as soon as novelty wears off.
Golems have there place in WvW. Some groups use the different others.
