Well i look at it this way. If ppl respec just for dueling then your not getting better or having fun as you said. Your trying to prove something. If a person cant run their reg WvW build tht they use each and everyday in a duel then whats the point to duel? We had a guild wait to see our grp comp, all logged on to the classes counters, took an extra 20mins to all respec just so they could beat us lol. Its a sad way of dueling. Dueling is fun sometimes, but the best fights happen in open field with your grp. If you cant beat some1 there and then. tough. Why waste time dueling!??

farmed your grp all across the southside of the map, you guys run grab 2guards 2 mesmers for 2 warrs and a thief and prolly respeccd just to duel. if you cant take us when out in roaming then oh well. gl next time when u have 50 others behind u

Any1 knw if battle standard for warrs was recently nerfed? Doesnt fully res down state players anymore, idk if this was some stealth nerf or a bug. It started about 2 days ago.

We dont die to TC zerglins, we laugh as we kite them around the map. We beat on CERN’s small grps all the time. i just dont take SSs of every time we make ur grps look silly, but seeing how u love to SS my guild i think we will get a nice vid of u clowns

I feel so proud to be a part of SoS again. This ENTIRE weekend we were constantly outmanned in EB, even then we had quick reactions, amazing defense and even a little zerg bustin’!

Who said roaming is dead?! 5 man FoE roaming team had a blast last night running back and forth in the south of EB, running into groups much larger than us (fight for danelon was awesome!).

I do love the people who will /dance on our corpse after a 5v20, you guys must be so proud!

Roaming is never dead in high tiers as so many say. Yes theres def more zerging then roaming but we find our small scales each and every night and love it. I think every1 does tht /dance stuff lol. I knw last week when it was DB/TC our 5 man would kite 20-40 TC/DB for a good 5mins around the south side of the map. If they did manage to get us tht one time as a grp they would spam /laugh when in reality we were laughing at them for sending that many to get us and taking that long to kill us

NR had alot of fun in FA bls tonight. Enjoyed the 50 man TC zergs chasing 6 of us around the southern part of the map. lolol.

The new guilds on DB are trash, ignore what they say. They moved to DB with the mindset of taking the server over and carrying them to t1. They hit a wall(TC) with that goal and now it seems they are having problems with the “regs” of DB. I was on DB for a little bit and the community there is very friendly. I still keep in touch with many DBers. Dont let the new faces of DB give you bad judgement about their community that so many longtime guilds on DB helped build.

ive enjoyed fighting SOS. Havnt touched your bls tho. I dont see a point of hitting SOS bls when its all blue anyways lol. TC bls is where its at and turning it mostly green yesturday and waking up to see we still held a good portion of it was good to see.

I agree with some of the above post, NA is for NA players, EU is for EU players etc etc. This crossing of the timezones really screwed WvW up big time. ANET sould haven known the kind of dmg this system was going to cause for people who want to pvp. I think its common sense tht not every single NA server will have massive “nightcappers” as a few do. This lastest random matchup switch kinda shows anet is running out of ideas to keep WvW going. I feel this was one of their last plans to see if WvW will bring ppl back or keep them around and judging by some of the threads/post in matchup threads its doing the complete opposite

I feel you are right, but I hope you are wrong…

They should just start redesigning WvW for the expansion, divide the servers into factions and make the maps larger, or just divide PvE servers from WvW servers all together.

Well there are tons of stuff they can do to help the underdog.
- Half the number of players that can access a map at same time
- Allow alliances between weaker servers who are fighting a stronger one
- Make the maps bigger and allow for more strategy, so numbers don’t mean victory necessarily
- Merge european and north-american servers
- Make low-tier servers have a free transfer for a week.

Well hindering players from playing due to numbers isnt really fair. Its not our fault anet f’d their 24 hr pvp system up. Merging EU and NA prolly couldnt work. Que times would last for years, lag would never leave. Just dont think ANET would ever be able to handle it. I still think the only way to fix the state of WvW is NA for NA EU for EU and tht just wont ever happen. This game will slowly die off esp with the new MMOs comming out. Just try to enjoy it or quit the game until a new one comes around is my best advice lol

Immolator, i would be completely ok if there were a grp of 20 NA bums who nightcapped. The fact is tho when 10-20 during the day are trying to fight off an entire server Primetime is just too much. and by Primetime i mean 2-3 bls qued during NA early morning/early afternoon hrs

NA servers should be for NA and EU for EU. its tht simple lol. ANET dropped the ball on this and cant fix it. just have to deal with it.

yea we do good. but its not enough to ever overtake TC. We have equal coverage during NA time but early morning/late night we are screwed. I dont really care, my guild and i play for smallscale roaming and not the meta ppts game. But lets face it 90% of ppl doing WvW want to play it for meta and with nightcapping and no real reason to do WvW other then server brag rights and kitten its starting to become dull for ppl. You saw it urself we lost a guild who are on the verge of quitting game and moved servers to see if it can help them. Maybe tht xfer is just what they needed or maybe it was a temporary f ix for a few weeks. Fact is WvW across the board is losing players.

There is one way to help stabilize server population. Give wxp based on your current server rank. To give an example:

Currently SoR is the top ranked server
ET is the lowest ranked server
Ehmry Bay is the mid ranked server

Ehmry Bay would receive the same amount of wxp as today
ET gets twice the amount of wxp
SoR gets 50% the amount of wxp

In other words, there needs to be more incentives for people to move to lower ranked servers.

If you did that i bet alot of the nightcappers would move down for PVDoor and farm the crap out of WXP and just bring a bigger imbalance to a lower tier as well as hurting that upper tier server because now u just threw their coverage off causing more dmg then good

If ET didnt have such ego problems and the people listened to commanders maybe guilds would stick around. The community of ET fights with eachother and calls eachother out all the time in team chat. Why would you expect ppl to stick around a place like tht?

Their SEA doesnt want t1 and lets be honest the last week their sea was so lackluster cause of actually having to fight people. 80% of their zerg consist of upscales looking for tht easy PvD exp. They must be loving this weeks matchup atm. BTW whenever their sea does bad or get held to +200 we are told they are taking a break from WvW.

Its nice not having wagonbrand around crying about 2v1 every other post. SoS keep up the good fights. Last night in FA bls we ran into your grps quite alot.

@Crujiente, tht was fun last night. I think at one point we all sat in a line across the bridge and you kept hitting us. We were kinda bored so we figured we would hang around the bridge and farm some kills lol.

theres a TFV member following our EB grp around and the DB zerg is waiting or flanks us everytime. Outmanned and pvd for 90% of the morning isnt good enough?

TC/DB have their guilds tht are good obv agg is a standout for Db and Pink/EP/KH for TC. i just thought rawr’s post was completely shutting them down for what they do and was responding to him

@ rawr, BT smashed every single guild in this tier and if anyone tries to say otherwise is a fool. They would 1v3 different guild grpkittenting them from all sides at the same time. They did run different tags because ppl did avoid them, zergs that rolled 20+ more than BT ran from them because they knew the dmg they left. Ppl will be bitter towards them for whatever reasons but facts are still facts, they smashed everyone in this tier.

Down state should be removed from WvW. When you die you die, none of this carebear 2nd chance stuff. Small scale is for players who want to learn their classes and get better. Play smart as a smallscale team, pick off the stragglers of zergs and knw when to attack and when to run. Also most zerglins are dumb. You can easily bait 5-10 from the main zerg and have ur grp waiting for them around the cornor to beat on them. Crying about a small team not beating a zerg makes us havoc squads look bad. We dont QQ like zerglins we get better bro. Step it up.

Find a havoc squad and you dont need to follow a commander, problem solved. As far as other servers grping together, if you take my invites expect some smack talk lol. We are not here to be buddies with the other server. Dont take the other server’s invites if you cant handle whats about to be said next, its tht simple lol.
