Hey whats up thenoobler. Good to see you guys again. Love the fights. From the last time we fought you we tripled our numbers.. Hope we have some great fights this week!

Dina and WAR worked perfect With Krew and our 3 commander tags stacking on friday night. Perfect coordination we had going and as dina said. We stacked our commanders as a way for the zerg(pugs) to know hey 3tags there, more ppl there. While dina was up in the northern part of the map doing his thing with his guild. 1 massive zerg works in some cases, but the small scale fights/multiple commanders doing things on different sides of the map wins the overall fight.

SOS is never on their 80s. Whenever we push you guys off our map or wipe you, we get the same forum post. Your lucky we are lvling our alts and not on our 80s! I guess if you have that much of an ego as a guild…idk. At least i can admit when my guild groups get wiped from an AR or SF guild and we learn to counter those guilds by learning how we lost to them. We dont just go on the forums and say hey we were on our alts raiding camps! wait til you see my 80 that i dont play!

Wow this thread is sad. Oh well great fights tonight we had alot of fun in AR BL and then being called to our BL to help defend when SF and AR went all out on our map and beat us down for a bit. We eventually pushed both servers back tho!! took a while. keep it up AR and SF.

I would welcome EOH to our server. We have had great fights against them and they use great strats.

We have owned 95% of the map this week. Do you really think we would send someone over to your server to waste seige/supplies in a keep that we will most likely take in a few hours. Dont blame us for the actions of a few trolls on your server.

Just wanted to say great job to HoD players. I was on HoD BL leading all day today and you guys never gave up. Even when we outnumbered you, you guys were able to defend your towers well and the fact you guys pushed onto bay and hills throughout the day proved you will fight to the end!!! Props from krew, this week will be alot of fun

This is the basic WvW guide we reccomend all New members to check out when they first join.

Basic WvW 101

Join a Group (Just type in guild chat for a WvW Group)
Join a Commander Squad – Click on the Commander Title you are going to follow – Join Squad (Other Commander’s will then disappear from your vision)

Full Death and Half Death
Priority Number 1 should be getting HALF Dead comrades up again. If they die completely they have a chance to let every enemy half dead player back up again.
*IF YOU ARE FULLY DEAD * GO BACK!!* Idiots will try to res your full dead body which will distract them from A-Doing Damage & B-Ressurecting Half Dead Guys

Supply (Located at the top center of your WvW screen – A number between 0-10 supplies)
Always try to keep 10 supply on you at all times.
Create Siege – GO FOR SUPPLY! (One person from the group at a time)

Party Leader
Follow your party leader -he/she is there to teach you about what needs to be done. Especially if that person is on ventrilo listening to our commands.
Manages what target to attack (to select his target hit ‘T’)
Manages party supply – Don’t let too many people go back for supply at once
Press ‘t’ to take your leaders target or Press ‘Ctrl + t’ or ‘Ctrl + Click’ to make a target

Offence

Key “Targets of Interest” for a Tower/Keep

Pri 1 – EVERYONE – Cannons (Left and Right)
Pri 2 – Ranged AOE (Area of Effect) GROUP – Siege on Walls (Usually you can hit them with large AOE (area of effect) spells in the L+R Corners
Pri 3 – Ranged AOE GROUP – Mortars (Farther away from the door but will devastate your siege equipment)
Pri2/3 – Non AOE GROUP – Keep hostile players out of the keep/tower OR use siege equipment OR heal people on seige equip
Pri 4 – EVERYONE – Burning Oil (Used against RAMS and Golems)
Pri 5 – EVERYONE – Start building your own siege

Defence
Building Siege to Defend a Keep/Tower

Build arrow carts away from edges to prevent small aoe from destroying it
Build Ballistas with a LINE OF SIGHT to the target
Build Catapults/Arrow Carts behind the door to damage invaders/Rams/Golems without having your siege destroyed
Build Trebuchets/Catapults to defend against enemy Trebuchets/ Catapults

This is a post that a member of krew did on our guild website to help others get a basic understanding of seige placement.
Ballista – red.
Catapult – yellow.
Arrow Cart – green.
Trebuchet – blue.

I’ve left out the customary catapult behind every door and most of inner keep defense. It also helps to use common sense. You want to place arrow carts where you can still see them, but they cannot hit you, like on the back edge of a wall. You have to place ballistas where you have line-of-site of your target.

This doesn’t include every piece of siege you should put down, but it shows the more important ones. The exception is the siege placed in the camps. Obviously, only place siege there if you’re planning on defending the camp.

Always fun fighting EOH. Smart players who do smart things. It’s good to hear they are helping teach those new to WvW. When i logged on last night i was asked right away if I could get to our borderlands to defend because AR was making a push. We had all of AR side of EB at the time but Krew stayed in BP BL most of the night. Once we gathered up we came out of bay and both BP zerg and AR zerg met right outside of vale camp by sentry. Great fights in BP BL though I believe the AR zerg left and went back to EB seeing they took back their side in 20mins. Too bad i missed out on what sounded like some great fights in EB, but it was my turn to defend our borderlands

yea the north camp would have been a good idea but we only had like 10-15 max if that come with us to north camp. Our numbers were too spread out. We had 10 fighting your grp of 10-15 by ur spawn portal or w.e it is while only like 5 or 6 of us were actually at the seige. Then about 15 more GOM came from the side and ran us over. If we would have just stacked on our seige im sure we would have lasted longer.

Had alot of fun in GOM BL last night. We had about 20-25 holding out at greenvale and GOM had at least 30-40 players fighting from bay to front of vale keep. NJ with the 4 trebs? from bay taking our seige out. That was well played. Best part of the night tho was when you guys built balistas and catas by the sentry point and we portal bombed you guys with half the numbers and wiped your group. Half your zerg was so busy trying to push into vale camp they didnt even know 15 were behind killing every1. We managed to portal bomb you guys two times before you eventually over ran us but it was alot of fun. It was good to see a great showing for GOM last night and im sure it felt good to finally out number BP even if it’s only for one night still shows you guys dont give up

As far as exploiting goes, AR and BP are not known for the cheating. We have faced eachother so many times over the months we should know this. OBV both servers have had transfer or people or want to easy way out and try to do these things. Just report them and take screenshots. I’ve alrdy told members of krew if they are caught doing any cheats or taking a portal that was a “cheat portal” they will be kicked from guild and every1 who is on at that time in guild will report that person. With that being said, please make sure you know for a fact that they did indeed cheat and it wasnt a mesmer who actually was hiding and did it a legit way.

yea daiosho has been amazing with keeping every1 up to date on when he needs help. Another person who has done a great job doing that as well is sylphia zephyr, Always sending me tells when help is needed. Big reason we were able to save the bay last night in our borderlands and the reason we were able to push AR off the map. Great communication from those 2.

Well if we win this weeks match up Borlis pass will be moving up into that bracket. We have been facing GoM, AR for the last 5 weeks now? All 3 servers are sick of eachother so we are hoping we move up to get some new faces. We have been waiting for a rematch with sorrows furnace after you guys beat us down that 1 week

Ok i wasnt going to post cause these threads of our matchup have become nothing but crying. You guys must have forgot BP was the server that got smashed over and over and over. We were jumping from last tier to this tier for weeks. So to say oh you guys dont knw what its like to lose or wait til next week and you will see a real zerg. Did u guys forget we have seen that and experience that since day 1 of launch. This is the best matchup since launch that AR and BP had no matter how much they say we outnumber them, they knw its true. I personally havent seen any new guilds transfer over to our server and if they have they have done a pretty good job of not contacting the alliance guilds. When we lost a few weeks ago 3 guilds transfered off our server and either went to maguuma or devonas. From what i know only 1 guild has transfered to our server which is WAR and tht was a few weeks ago. Did we get some randoms or "bandwagon"ers to come over? maybe idk. But AR of all servers( since we fought eachother the most) should know we were always a bottom ranked server. Numbers DEF help when it comes to WvW, but dont discredit what our alliance has done to keep our server organized as a whole as to which maps are most important to hold and when we should attack or defend. Same goes for AR, It’s because of what that AR alliance is doing that they are able to keep such great pressure on us at times and hold their entire borderlands. It’s weird when AR will discredit what the BP alliance has done and just say eh u win cause of numbers, but then say It’s because of the AR alliance we were able to take first place last week. I guesss the alliance on AR is that much better

We dont need to glitch or exploit. We have never done so before and we dont plan on doing so now. IMO maybe doing some better sweeps of the keeps after you take them might help a bit. If you do see people cheating, glitching, exploiting or w.e take a screenshot report them and if they are in a guild find a way to contact their guild leader and im sure it will be dealt with.

Man look at all the crying going on now. We have near to same numbers. you have a zerg defending ur borderlands we have a zerg defending ours. You bring about 20-30 to our borders to attack we bring about 20-30 to your borderlands to attack. Give it a rest with the screenshots. We can do the same. I mean last night you guys had 40 AR sitting on a sentry point by woodhaven but you dont see BP players saying man look at the those numbers for a sentry point……Who cares if it was a fully upgraded tower or a wooden tower, points are points and the faser we got it capped the faster it was added to points tally.

@god im simply responding to all your post. Go back and read them. you said it yourself. If SOS focuses on GOM, BP wins and if SOS focuses on BP, GOM will win. You then went on to say our map was a playground for you guys and that you can just run thru it. idc if you say your doing camp raids, leveling alts or whatever. Fact is you make sure you have a good 15-30 SOS players when you come to our borderlands. That is not a group thats a pretty good size zerg most likely all on a voice chat so a well organized zerg. It’s funny tho, that you guys on AR actually think we have massive numbers over you guys. So bascially your saying we have crazy numbers but yet we must be bad because we are so close in score and cant pull away or you guys are just that good to keep it close. It’s a lose/lose when it comes to talking to you guys over in AR. All in all keep up the good fights evey night has been fun.

Here we go again with BP has more numbers. The last 3 days it has been nothing but AR stomping us but yet we didnt come on the forums and say hey we were on our alts doing camp raids or you guys took first place because you gained numbers. AR and BP have even numbers from what i have seen. You have a constant attack on our borderlands and a full raid group defending your borderlands. SOS give it up alrdy. U want to knw something kinda funny. All the trash talk youve done has made you guys a laughing joke on borlis and now every1 looks for tht tag. We knew you would come on this forum and say hey we were on our alts doing camp raids. First off, playing alts and doing hit and run camp raids while the matchup is this close is insane. The fact is when others are on SoS’s “playground” you tend to get pushed around a bit. AR stop qqing about us having more numbers. its an even fight and obv the score shows it. If we truely had more numbers then we wouldnt b struggling to hold first place like we have been. BTW brig probs to TCMM guild you guys are in WvW almost any time of the day with least 20+ running around. Huge reason you guys hold alot of stuff.

I have seen TCMM/WAR in our borderlands alot more then SOS so far. Again giving all credit to you and your guild and not your server…..lol

Krew is a WvW focused guild on borlis pass. We also do some pve as well as spvp. We have 380+ members, Vent, Website and have commanders who are all willing to help lead in the WvW as well as teach new players about WvW. We run daily organized groups and work with all the other guilds on the server. We here in krew have 1 common goal and that is to help our server up the rankings. @godfather, do you even give credit to your server? for anything? You come on these forums and say GoM won because SoS focused on BP or BP won because SoS focused on GoM. I mean really, how can people from your own server even like you guys. Its about you you you in every post. And yes SoS does zerg. I have yet to see SoS with a grp of 5 running around. Only time you do WvW is when you have 20-30 members. So to sit here and call out another guild for zerging is insane. Get over yourself alrdy.

Yea a few weeks ago they did a new build an hour into the server reset. We lost 5 golems that night as well as trebs. Then 2 days later they did another new build and we lost another 3 golems. to lose 8 golems all because of new builds is insane. Lets not forget all the seige we had in keeps/towers etc etc. They really need to give ppl a heads up. A 30sec. warning is not good enough

@testpig. Your guild transfered here what last week? Dont come here trying to act like your the best thing and acting as if our server doesnt knw what to do. If thats how ur guild is then i suggest another server jump to a different server.

I find WvW to be great fun. Its really the only thing i do everyday from the time i get on to the time i get off. With that being said though, it would be great to get some type of reward for how much time you put into WvW. Doesnt matter if ur server places 1st, 2nd, 3rd. For example at the end of the weeks matchup you receive a chest depending on how much time you dedicated to WvW for that matchup. The chest can consist of badges,seige,$,karma jugs or whatever anet wants. Its nothing too big or game changing but hopefully it motivates people to do WvW. Atm bragging rights is not enough to bring people to WvW and keep them interested unless ofc They love it alrdy and just want to have fun and kill s**t like myself

@godfather, SoS use to be on kaineng correct? I also believe you guys are a oceanic guild correct me if im wrong. But your on NA server. You say we night cap with zergs but thats because thts our primetime for our server. It may be night for you but not for us. It goes both ways we cap stuff while u sleep and then when we work/sleep you guys night cap us. Just fyi, the person who posted all those screenshots transfered this week.

Yes i knw good grief well. Only a hanful went over to maguuma this week. They lead a guild of like 5-10. So to say a “bunch” of players is a little misleading. Borlis pass atm is at its best stage since launch. Those leaving have fun and wish you the best, but dont try to bash our server cause you couldnt make it work.

Ok i wasnt going to post anymore on this thread. Its one thing if you want to look for another server but its another to trash the server your leaving. Last week was a great week and we fought hard to get first place. While doing so alot of the WvW focused guilds were burnt out from playing so hard so they decided to take this week off.(personally i thought ppl would be pumped for this week seeing how great the week before was). I was reading over your reasons for leaving and tbh it sounds like you made most of tht up. I am in WvW everyday and night running stuff with the other commanders. We hardly ever fight with eachother and work well together. We gather the so called “pugs” and get stuff done. Are there a few people who may argue with the commanders or not like their call? for sure what server hasnt had their few to do so. You said it yourself, your guild plays around 2am server time. I dont knw if you knw this but our server is mostly est time. Which is 3hrs ahead of server time. If you play anywhere from 5pm-12am est on any given night you will see we are well organized and dont have half the probs your saying we have. 2am server time is 5am est, most of us are asleep getting rdy for class/school/work/kids to school.

I’ve enjoyed fighting the SoS guild the last 2 weeks. It seems whatever map krew goes to we run into SoS guild. You guys are good and give us all kinds of fun fights if it’s in a tower, keep, camp or even just open field. But to come on the forums and say we “zerg” doors and that your guild is looking for all the fights and we learned sleep patterns(in otherwords avoid fighting) is sad. Nothing wrong with promoting your guild saying your able to defend 15 vs 30 for 4+ hrs and all tht, but dont act like your the only guild out there looking for a fight. I remember plenty of times where Krew met SoS with even numbers and we won. I dont come on forums bragging about it though to make myself feel good. I’m only saying something now because of your post above

Im more confused on why we have 30 ppl in a jumple puzzle in WvW when they should be taking stuff. I dont think seige is tht expensive -_-

AR seems a little bitter about placing third place last week. I had only about 15 guildies in GoM map and TCMM/CRFT guilds had about 30 fighting us. After we met a few times on the field we obv ended up losing the fights but held our own for a while. I will say this though. Krew will only focus AR this week because of the poor sportsmanship you guys showed tonight. Dancing on dead bodies and /emote spamming during the fight while clearly out numbering us is pathetic.

This weeks fight has been amazing!! I hope we can continue the great fights tonight and into the reset. Props to GoM for making a push the last 2 days. You guys brought it from 16k to 8k and we knew we had to go all out last night if we wanted to hold our lead. Hopefullly those on borlis will avoid trying to talk bad about the other 2 servers. Some of the trolling on here from earlier this week almost cost us our lead.

We lost 3 golems on reset night due to a new build restart. Then again tonight we lost another 5 golems about to take a keep which at the time held an orb. Can we please be given a heads up on when you plan to do stuff like this. Its discouraging when you lose golems due to a new build reset.

Well you guys held alot during the day while most of us were at work/school. Whats night time for you is when most of us are getting home. Its been a great even matchup so far. I hope we stay in this bracket for a while.

This weeks matchup has been great. My guild and I have been in WvW everyday fighting head on with AR and GoM. First time since launch we have had an even matchup. The post of AR and GoM teaming up against us is not needed. First off, We are in first place, If both servers didnt hit us at same time obv they are not doing it right. Ive been on BP since launch. We dont need to flame ppl on forums or the self promoting of our guilds with screenshots to show what we do. Face the facts, We may lead WvW focused guilds but to not give credit to the so called “pugs” that follow is not fair. Let our work show through the score. We have always been a friendly server. Dont change now because we are finally getting organized and can hold stuff longer. TBH who cares if people say we night cap. AR players knw our server has a low night pressence. It has been proven in other matchups. Anyway, keep up the great fights GoM and AR its been a great matchup so far!

Same guilds, Same amount of players. We have just been getting more organized and working together and learning new strats that work and strats that dont work. Last few weeks now our guilds have been learning everyones strengths/weaknesses and who can do what better than others. It took us a long time obv to get our numbers some what organized, but its starting to show

When 2-3 guilds agree to a strat to spawn camp, that doesnt mean a server agreed tatic. The Borlis pass alliance(BPA) were on blue map last night. We dont like that spawn camping garbage. Ehmry did it to us a few months ago and ever since i refuse to do it back. Dont let a decision of 2-3 guilds represent our server. If you went to blue map you would have enjoyed constant fights back and forth and seiging of eachothers keeps/towers.

I lead the push yesturday in eternal battlegrounds when we took all of our side of the map and eventually SM. We then went into green side and took 2 supply camps as well as 2 towers. I do my best to avoid anvil rock. But i did push down into blue side once i saw some of the anvil guys ninjaed ogrewatch/veloka/pangloss and were attempting mendons. TBH i enjoyed the fights. It was great to see red/blue actually in WvW fighting. Obv it would have been great if we both pushed on green but who cares. Once the green zerg showed up tho we lost almost everything. When we had even numbers we were having great fights and beating them back to their towers/spawn

Dont let that small group of borlis pass players represent the rest of our server. I was looking at some of those guilds and have never even seen them in WvW before and WvW is all I do. The fact that a few borlis players are trying to take the easy way by using exploits/hacks is sad. We never take the easy way, we work for what we get. Im glad you got this screen and i hope Anet does something about this. I hope u destroyed them with that cannon

First off welcome to borlis pass I am glad you guys decided to move here. We can always use more help. My in game name is hadann. Feel free to contact me in game so we can get more organized as a server. Borlis pass does have communication probs atm, hopefully this will be a first step moving forward. I hope the others read this post of how newly transfered players view our server, and drop their egos to come together and help as one.

Its good to see kaineng finally on top. We have always enjoyed fighting you guys whenever we were matched together. Its good to see guilds decided to move to the lower pop servers to help balance the game. The night capping is annoying yes…but its expected esp since WvW is 24/7 give them the credit they deserve for making a comeback. From the updated scoreboards they posted,even during the primetime of your servers pop they still held 90% of the map. Looks like their server came together and pulled it off.

Had alot of fun tonight in borlis pass borderlands and eternal. We decided to get a hit and run grp going. We were able to recap all of borlis pass before we switched to eternal. After green zerg took our borderlands back we tried again and finally clashed wit you guys at the bay keep for the orb. Alot of fun guys…btw great save on the orb

We dont condone hacking in our guild on our server or in this game. Thanks to those who have stood by us. If you have any proof of anyone in my guild hacking send me a pic, name, vid anything and i will deal with it. Until then your claims me nothing to us. We will continue to work with our server and help in WvW.

Earlier today someone hacked the orb from kaineng garrison. At the time someone Decided to hack the orb our alliance was actually attacking the garrison to retake the orb. When we reached the inner gate the orb went grey and then we recieved the reset timer. There was some random troll who decided to blame my guild for this hacking. We here at Krew dont condone that type of stuff. We have worked very hard to organized our numbers and gather with the other WvW guilds and form an alliance. In the last few weeks we have been building a good rep with not only our server but with the servers we fight. We are a WvW focused guild, we live in WvW and for someone to accuse Krew of hacking in the one thing we love to do is rather sad. Obv there will be those who dont like us or who simply see we are a WvW guild and decided to blame us. One thing is for certain though, We here at Krew are not hackers, and if we ever did see someone on our server or in our guild trying to hack we will be sure to have plently of screenshots and plenty of reports. Yea this is the first time some1 has hacked on borlis pass. Its rather sad and ruins the game. We were at the garrison at the inner gate when this happened. It made no sense. We were going to take it eventually. Just some random who wanted to troll both severs and in the process make borlis pass look like Aholes.
