I never understood this mentality in GW2. In my counter-strike, dota, natural-selection times whenever my team lost, won, draw we would analyse the match and find our flaws. In guild wars 2, you go on the forums and flame your opponent. Probably why the general skill level in GW2 is the lowest of any game I’ve played. Sad community.

It started out with us and sparta and when most circumstances we were in required teamwork, especially against kodash we had a tendency to stick together. When sparta ended their raid we were lone force and a lot of pugs came to orange sword to get into the action. I had great fun and it was nice to see a classical style guild raid from wl!

Good fun today on vizunah border, now those were some good large scale battles, thank you vizunah and kodash

Unless vizu has 60+blob on all borders at nighttime to make us tick +5 they’re chilling. This week we had more coverage than vizunah so in truth it’s still a matter of coverage.

Oh come on … Vizu won WvW for most of the first year. Vizu is tired now.
Since sept 2012, almost nothing has changed : lag is awful, rewards are inexistant.

A national server can’t really renew its population, contrary to the “international” servers like SFR. We had a huge WvW population, we did very good for the first year, but then everyone becomes tired and demotivated.

So yeah, French people are farming Taco and other world bosses. Because the loot is usually better than on your corpses.
Don’t expect much of a come-back for the league tho. A finisher is not a decent reward.
We’re happy with what we’ve done in the WvW scene, not sure there is much to prove now.

I hope this is good old troma propaganda and that vizunah will come back stronger than ever at the league.

Personally, I started on far shiverpeaks and from beta till recently I hated your server with a passion. Doing bad in prime time but winning the matchups on pure night force?
But with the years the hate turned to respect and admiration. Granted, there’s been few impressive vizu players (war legends only I can think of) but that’s not all what wvws about. No server has had such a good organization and dedication. And ever since we in SFR have good coverage I start to feel with you on the hate you got. You played the game the best for a long time. But now SFR can finally match you in coverage and once again you have a strong challenge and you call it quits? I don’t believe it…. or maybe I just don’t want to believe it.

Guys stop trolling SFR. It is undeniable that the current point system in world vs world clearly shows 100% accurate evidence of how good a server is at world vs world. SFR have the best fighters in the entire world. Just look at their tick. Clearly shows they are the best at everything.

We have not recruited. Guilds that were none primetime was always welcome/encouraged to play with us. We did not put up a LFG poster in all major cities in the world.

Trust me when I say we wish everyone else had numbers and coverage to match us. We did it to avoid having everything paper against vizunah. It’s not a situation we like we don’t enjoy pvd in primetime and every pug on kodash and deso will be demotivated to upgrade or even play.

I’m glad some deso seems to be able to see this from our perspective. We are getting too many transfers, transfers that should go help the other servers get coverage.

The fight is as boring for us as for you. I hope the league will interest transfers to servers that can give SFR and viz a run for their money, and I also hope the league won’t kill SFR and Viz with transfers.

Seafarers was tired of getting night & morning capped by vizunah so we’d have paper in primetime. Seafarers responce? Get americans to support at night and a commander starts morning pushes. You’d be surprised how many players are online at night but doesnt want to play since it will have no impact, then get a morning crew and you get 3x the amount of nightplayers. All seafarers did was get one american guild for nightcapping, the morning capping was pure core SFR players who knows they can wake up early and fight. We managed to beat vizunah (they slacked a little tho i think) and bam jobs done.

Whats deso/piken/server x facing sfrs solution? Whine & moan on forums. You can kiss each other and have your kittens “they r bad they only win cuz numberz” but it doesn’t change a thing. SFR had a problem in front of them, and they solved it. Deso & rest have a problem infront of them: They whine and complain.

You think it’s fun for us playing primetime with no enemies? I can be online 24 hours and still have no enemies. We want to fight, we want to kill. If you think your server can beat SFR but lack numbers, then get numbers. We wanted to show vizunah that we had better players so we matched their coverage and won. From now on I only want to meet vizunah because of these things:

1) Vizunah dont qq on forums but are in fact very respectful and polite
2) Vizunah has players on borders during primetime

and one last thing semi-irrelevant thing: I saw on reddit a deso guy complain that we had guild raid on a saturday morning. Yeah, you’d almost think wvw is a hobby for us and that we play it in our freetime. Crazy!

We are working on it but it doesn’t help with the amount of transfers we get. We both have to train pugs and work on organization to lesser blobbing.

And if it wasn’t for the fact all other EU servers are bad in coverage, organization AND skill, we wouldnt get all these transfers and then we could work more on organizing our playstyle than teaching pugs.

SFR Had twice the numbers and half the experience, and it aint the first time its regular for SFR you can’t fight without siege, nor back up you only win field fights because of your numbers.
Kodash on the other hand are good to fight against, great fights and fun times.

If only there was still some honor and chivalry in this WvW community. Only the vizunah players on the forum have the decency to congratulate and compliment their opponents if they win.

Piken, do whatever you want, I know you have fun with it and even more fun with our haters on the forum complaining about guild blobs. If you guys have fun doing what you do kudos to you. We had good numbers in todays zbs raid and it’s only fair I see 2 guilds with smaller numbers collaberate so we get very long and good fights, it was very fun for me and I hope it was for you guys aswell (GH and Rise<3).

So to piken guilds: keep on having fun, ignore our forums warriors and see you on the field for some good fights!

I think this is very fascinating the way they are dealing with it.

So far it seems most of the active WvW players, guilds & community are completely against the format. All top servers in EU are worried what will become of our servers. It really seems that no arenanet employee is active in any of the server communities otherwise they would know how hard the community is working. Seafarer’s Rest, being #1 EU server is already getting transfers, and what we do is find a way to train them, bring them on teamspeak and teach them basics. I know our french nemesis vizunah square is also dealing with transfers that aren’t getting into the community.

So what you decide to do at arenanet, is instead to make the problem even bigger. If you had studied in any way the past of the servers you’d know transfers has already destroyed several servers. And this only encourages further transfering alienating all the guilds and players that has worked hard for their server only to grant them 4 hours queue.

This problem is obvious to every active WvW player, but why is it not obvious to arenanet?

Maybe arenanet should get some employees involved in the WvW communities for a few months, then see how fragile they are and how hard people work for them.

All I can do is hope that arenanet see that the wvw system is not optimized yet for rewards. 6+ months you’ve been able to solo jump into jerrifers slough, and there’s so many other things you can glitch into.
If you really care about the WvW players, it’s time to fix all the tower and keep bugs. That way it wont be whoever is the most shady wins.
And if you really care, you’d realize WvW players don’t play for rewards. They play for the siege, fight, scout etc. We’ve had a year without rewards and we don’t need them know.

In short; maybe take a break from your plan and think about why so many WvW players/guilds/communities are against your idea. Maybe it’s time to listen to the community and less listening to transfer money.

We had some awesome fights with ZB. They never wiped us to the point that we left. If they said that then they are lying. The first hour of the event they did kill us multiple times yes, but ask them what happened later on in our encounters. Actually don’t because I can tell you, we killed them multiple times.

The desolation community does not frown upon us. In fact a lot respect us because we are awesome.

Once it was ECL and a small group of zDs (15ish) and we let you fight za drots in a fair fight (as im pretty sure it would take 40 coins to take 15 zadrots) and we come back to see you double teamed them with another deso guild. Sorry, you’ve simply not given the impression you want fair fights on the battlefield, especially as we so often see you holding hands with DVG whenever you’re on the same border. So if you really want fair fights I hope you apologized to our comrades in za drots for that move, and if you have maybe we can consider having fair fights on the field.

Your story telling skills are amazing, shame stories are not the same as facts though.

P.S Where does the number 40 keep coming from? I.S has always been a small guild, were on average 22-23 per squad event and a total of 28 on Rostra. Also ZB’s and ZD’s are the same guild? O.O

This is what I’ve learned from GD:

It’s okay for GD to run 50man guild blob but its lame zD doesnt tell 5 pugs to go to hell.

Because GD won a gvg they are certain to win every fight against zD in WvW, and by having 5 pugs zD has overcome this certainty.

If zadrots wipes you constantly without any effort from their site the best thing to do is qq on the forums about blobbing

We started on SFR bl and fought against ZDs/ZBs (~30-35) plus another ~15-20 pugs.

Both you and sparta left the map because they were wiping you (with max 5 pugs) and you complain that they follow for more fights? Jeez. I know they’re strong but no reason to qq on forums about it. Find them and fight them, learn!

Also, im sorry if we have cheaters, but we can’t do anything it’s up to arenanet. we report the glitchers we see. I doubt we have spies, we love to fight and most things we do is to make you come fight us. We don’t really need spy for that. We don’t care for point as much as the score suggests, we are just bored at night.

I’m proud SFR woke up vizunah! Your organisation is impressive and that I’ll give you. You did really good yesterdays primetime too, and props to that.

But don’t get all kitteny because you have to log on with 100+ people at night to win. But it’s such a wasted effort logging on with so many people and not have any resistance, I think that has caused your average player level to drop so much. I really think you should be playing the american servers who also have 24/7 coverage, so you actually had a challenge!

Also, don’t come on the forums and be kitteny about your numbers. Yes, it’s impressive, your organistation, communication everything was really good. But when you have +70 people struggling to take down a t3 tower with 15 man inside and it takes your 2 hours to get we know the real victory lies in inactivity from your opponents.
