The Hero’s and Mistforged Hero’s Weapons will be Rare and Exotic, respectively, and will have a variety of stat combinations to select from. You could also just use them as skins if there is another weapon you prefer to rock (ya know, for stats n’ stuff).
But you still didn’t give an answer to how much will it cost to upgrade the weapon, what kind of tokens are we gonna need, how much is gonna cost?

Yes this is another complaint thread on the Captain’s Airship Pass.
For those who didn’t read the other thread: A lot of people got upset that the loss of Lions’s Arch represented the loss of the most useful and convenient hub for BLT, Bank, Crafting Stations, Mystic Forge, Skill Trainers and Vendors. It also had Asura gates to all the major cities. In its place we got two things, Vigil’s Keep (which does not have crafting stations, gate travel and far less vendors) and Havoc’s Heir Airship. The airship is a one stop shop for everything BUT costs 1000 gems for a lifetime pass, 1000 gems equals $12.50 in USD.
Those who (rather sycophantically) defended Arenanet made some of the following arguments:

I honestly do not know why something like that can happened, i mean what am i suppose to tell my friends that wana buy this game? “Well they made a change recently and now you gotta spend gold or money or travel to other cities wait all the loading screens spend report money for something that was there for free, and no i have no idea why they did that, well ok for the money”
Stability,block,blind,dodge those are just 4 simple things to do when you spot earthshaker animation, but naaah you want to get away without pressing any button, sorry but you have to use your brain at least a little bit.
I think i should repeat myself, i am not talking about zergs i hate zergs, i am talkinb about small group fighting, also why pvt gear? the hp doesn’t seem that necessary since warriors have highest hp in the game. If people don’t stand in 100b in sPvP, what makes you think they are going to stand in a circle from your longbow with 1000x more space to run around in? Honest question.
If you are refering to the elite bow, it has a huge aoe at adrenaline lvl 3 and by the time they get out they will take dmg while with 100 b a single dodge is all it takes, hell you can just move a little and you probably will dodge it.
Ok forget about bow, how about rifle than? It just seem unnecessary to keep gs if i use hammer and hammer is better since you can do a good amount of dmg while your enemy is either knocked,stunned, rooted etc

wvw is not spvp. combustive shot (longbow burst skill) is effective in spvp because it covers the entire capture point. in small scale engagements in wvw, mobility is king. hammer/bow isn’t very mobile at all. you can’t run away when the situation isn’t in your favor. you can stand your ground and fight them off for a long time but you will go down.
But what is the point of having 2 melee weapons, just so you can run away? also combustive shot can be shot very easy once they start to melee you or when you do bow 5 skill wich roots them for 3 sec, i mean i will probabyl use sword+horn but once i sport enemy i will change them for the bow , if it works so well in spvp why wouldn’t it work for wvw, yes they can run but they can run in spvp also.
But you guys know that hammer/bow is one of the best builds for spvp right? I know tis not the same but still its always good to have ranged weapon so when they start runing away or kite you, and you can still do good dmg with the bow.

all classes manage to to use their healing skill and not rely on perma regen to stay up, why should warriors not be the same.
They are the same! Don’t you get it? HS can’t do anything for you if you get burst down, or have tons of conditions on, the only build that hs is great is the hammer one(since you are a bit tanky) for everything else healing surge or mending is better.
I mean bro, Healing Spring is absolutely ridiculous it gives regen AND vigor AND condi removal all in one skill to all their allies and it’s a water field and it has a shorter CD than Healing Rain! Nerf!!
Healing spring does not give vigor and comparing it to healing rain is simply rediculous. You’re trying to compare a healing skill to a weapon skill. A weapon skill that can be traited and ALSO happens to have a group wide passive regen in the same trait line that isn’t a boon and therefore CANT even be removed or corrupted, not to mention this same atunement has access to plenty of aoe heals and condi removal. Ranger has few condi removals and a heal w/ 15 sec regen and remove 5 conds over time (assuming you can stay in it for the entire duration mind you) is by no means op or in need of a nerf. This is apples and oranges and completely out of context and with your cry for a Nerf seems very dishonest.

OP then edited their post and ruined our fun somewhat.
Sorry to ruin your fun i am just really tired of all the whiners who never played warrior and complain about something that is not really worth complaining about, i mean they are ok with backstab doing 11k dmg wich is only 1 hit 1 button but they can’t deal with 400 hp heal when even auto attacks deal more dmg than that

I just saw that dev. work on new maps and mod. It’s very nice (at last, I would like to say ^^).
But my question is : is there news on a future type of pvp, that looks like more like free/open pvp ? With quite big open maps (maybe even intenational maps), where players could go to achieve some daily quests and possiblité to free pvp ?
Juste like the “Tol Barad” in WOW ?And I dont speak about mcm maps where it’s nearly impossible to do 1v1. There is mostly buses doing objectives.

You missed the point, adrenal health actually sucks on its own since its like 300 hp(at max adrenaline lvl) per 3sec not 1sec, but when they tick at the same time as HS wich would be like close to 700hp people just go berzerker “omg so muchhh heallll nerf nerfff HS” since they don’t realize sometimes they heal in pair(if you have full adrenaline wich is not 24/7)

Oh look its not only the HS that heals there is an actual trait involved that heals passively too.
I type this because everyone keeps forgetting that few bleeds or a simple poison render the HS passive useless.

The only real fix is just to remove if from solo tourny, if the devs realized this is not team tourny material they should know its not solo material either, having it in solo makes it even worse, when ur a team at least you can coordinate who goes where who does what in solo its not that simple.
So i am guessing the only way to do something about this if we all leave or be afk when this map pops out, since Anet has statistics that shows which map has most afkers and leavers, i would hate to do this honestly but what other choice we got?

Majority of the players would disagree with you, so you think its fun when you spend everything and avoided every spell the enemy threw at you just so you accidentally roll in the hole and loose the match, well maybe that’s your definition of fun but i didn’t spend 60$ for that.
I think some are missing the point here, we are not talking about if the map is fun or not or if it should be gone completely, we are talking about that it has not place in competitive pvp, in map like this there is no way to determinate wich team was the better one, there is a reason why it was removed from tpvp but why is it still there for spvp i have no idea.

Actually confusion seems great it goes with the type of weapon, i hope some future patch would fix this because like this what is the point of auto attacking with hammer when every other weapon auto attack is better.

Against good oppenents the Lyssarune is needed. It isnt good because of the 10% condiduration, it is good because of the full condition clean and aegis.
In 1vs1 against terror-dhuumfire necro it is neccesary. But you shouldnt waste bersercer stance at the beginning you have to clean spite signet with Lyssarune and then you activate bers stance. therefore corrupted boons will not work.
Without lyssa runes you will drop down , if you are in a fear chain
You do know you can take off 3 conditions by using your burst skill right away yes? than swap to bow use it again remove them again, swap to hammer do it again, like i said i think the 5 sec are a bit low, they just dodge away and there goes 2-3 sec.
Sometimes additional stablity is worth it, even 5sec.
By the time you get to stomp those 5 sec might be over, if it was 8 sec i would say ok but 5 sec wich is actually 4 sec by the time you get to do smt is not worth in my opinion.
I am talking about hammer/bow.
So i’ve been playing with Lyssa runes but recently i swapped to Eagle runes, now with eagle runes you gain extra 8% crit dmg and extra 5% dmg when enemy is below 50% hp, with lyssa runes you gain 10% condition duration, gaining random boon when you heal(wich if you use HS you tend to heal less so you don’t loose that passive) and when you use elite skill you loose all conditions and gain all buffs for 5 sec.
Now i ask you this, do we really need that 10% condition duration since you can only apply conditions with the bow and for example the fire is only 1 sec the blind is only 5 sec so the 10% increased condition duration seem like nothing, now also about the elite skill condition removal, since most of us run with berserker stance and also for every usage of the burst skill you loose 3 condition instantly(if you got that trait)do we really need those lyssa runes that much?So with eagle runes if ur fighting an enemy with less than 50% hp wich can be quite often ur doing constant 5% more dmg and if you crit you are doing 8% more crit dmg wich is pretty good when you think about it, so what is your opinion?
There will always be people who have no idea how to play pvp coming here and posting " omg warrior so stronk please nerf" , its just the way it is lets just hope Anet wont listen to all the whines…

That’s not the point wether or not a weapon can hit multiple targets, it’s how many. Saying that it’s “all the same since every weapon can cleave” is like saying hitting 2 more target is neglible. If that is the logic than hitting 1 target is just as good as hitting 3 target (cleave) which is just as good as hitting 5 targets (AoE).
Fine, give it a condition like other weapons — and then also tame down its damage and CC abilities to be like other weapons.

Greatsword auto damage is not greater.
Greatsword chain: 0.7+0.7+0.9/2.4 = 0.9583~
Hammer chain: 0.9+0.9+1.2/2.75 = 1.090909~
Even with the vurln stacks, GS offers it still lower in output. The higher the coeficient the weapon has also makes it scale better with power, the damage potential for the hammer is greater in both damage per hit and damage per second.Axe chain: 0.7+0.7+0.7+0.7+0.7+1.5/3.6=1.38~
The Axe is higher in damage per second and higher on damage per hit on that last hit of triple chop.It’s potential for damage if it hit max amount of targets for all hits is 4.14DPS. Hammer’s max potential DPS if hitting 3 every hit and then 5 on the last hit would be 4.1454~.
You do know that the greatsword applies vulnerability which means increased dmg the more you auto attack, plus the 5 aoe hit the hammer 3 has is not worth since in team pvp you never fight more than 3 people at same spot and if you do its not that often

Definitely needs to stop pursuing Esports, no mmo has ever been successful in Esports and it won’t change for gw2, they should instead of balance the game and make it more fun, add new game mods comes first in the list and it goes on.
If you want a bunker than play guardian, they have more blocks more condition removals and can do a lot of aoe with the staff and also buff people around them.

Healing surge 330ish hps assumeing you use it at full adrenal everytime with no poison on.
Can’t be interruptedhealing singet>healing surge. unless you stand there tanking all the damage like a true keyboard turning back peddaling pve hero(which i guess it’s fine in). Even more so if you take zerker rage, endure pain, dodgeing and stun/block into account.
You do realize healing surge heals for 10k hp at full adrenaline lvl and fills your adrenaline to max right? I really wish people who never played warriors stop coming here and making posts like this, the only choice for healing signet is when ur running kinda of a tanky build, for every other squishy build healing surge,mending > healing signet.
400 hp healing is op? Are you joking? Every dmg build out there can pump auto attacks as high as 800 on you… not to mention critical hits when using skills on you, ur complaining about that but not about healing surge which heals tons and maxes your adrenaline yeah…

Assuming no traits on anything warrior condis and knockdowns/backs are as followed
greatsword – 2 condis (cripple and vuln)
axe main – 2 (vuln and cripple)
axe off- 0
warhorn (off only) – 1 (weakness)
sword main – 3 (bleed, cripple and immob)
sword off- 2 (torment and bleed)
mace main – 3 (daze, stun and weakness)
mace off – 2 (vuln and knockdown)
shield (off only) – 1 (stun)
longbow – 4 (burning, bleed, immobolize and blind)
rifle – 4 (bleed, cripple, knockback and vuln)
hammer- 5 (weakness, knockdown, stun, cripple, and a knockback)Now why does hammer auto need a condition on its auto? Of all the melee weps for warrior, only axe and hammer have no conditions attached to them as mainhand weps just damage for auto attacking. Hammer offers plenty of control effects to justify it not having super high damage or conditions. Just ignore the fact that they recently nerfed hammer burst and 4 because hammer does to much damage as well…
You do realize that if you use Greatsword you have to spec for greatsword and here is what yo get if you do (why wouldn’t you) besides the cripple and vulnerability you also get bleed on crit, if you get the last one yo also get might on critical not to mention the faster attack rate and faster skill usage, so you get total of 2 conditions you apply basically per normal auto attack not on 3rd but even on 1st and 2nd hit and than you have might on crit and you crit a lot with a gs and specs and also the cripple so yeah i ask why hammer has condition at least on the 3rd auto attack.

Every other melee weapon has some condition, greatsword – vulnerability, sword-bleeding, mace – weaknez(must use z cuz of forum auto correct system) on 3rd attack, axe – has double chop and triple chop, what does hammer has? nothing oh wait aoe on 3rd attack which every melee weapon already has(you can hit multiple targets with every melee weapon), why does hammer doesn’t have anything? i don’t get the logic behind this decision, and please don’t tell me it has knockdowns and stuns i am talking about auto attacks not other skills, it should at least has vulnerability on the 3rd hit.
0/0/30/10/30 and fire/strength/hoelbrak runes to stack might. It was suggested a few days ago and I’ve found it to be great. 20 or so stacks of might all the time and it helps account for the earthshaker damage reduction from the last patch.
I am using that, but instead of those runes i am using runes of Lyssa , since you can use elite skill almost every 5 sec you have 0 conditions on
I guess you never played Aion or Wow if you think this game has a bad class balance, this game actually has one of the best class balance from all the mmos.
