A preexisting bug as well as new bugs are currently detrimental to progression in the WvW Season 1 Achievements.

• Advanced Mists Invasion Defender When fighting an enemy zerg for the first time of the night, I easily got my full 25 sigil stacks, however my progression for the killing of enemy invaders was only 11, later in the night I got 25 stacks again in one shot, and only received 17 additional kills for the Season 1 achievement.
• The Keep is the Thing, No Tower is too High [Preexisting bug] when capturing an enemy’s keep or tower, sometimes the event will not be rewarded. This occurs after having participated in breaking down doors, killing the lord, and standing in the circle. No event is rewarded and therefore the progress is much slower in relation to Season 1 achievements.
• Demolition Expert If you range the door, the achievement doesn’t seem to trigger. Attacking the door with melee appears to trigger the achievement as intended. However, this too, like the previous two bugs, is not triggered every time (i.e. one can ram the whole door down, or cata the wall, and not receive progression in the achievement).

If anyone else identifies further bugs, please post so the devs can get this resolved quick!

I also have this problem and have submitted in-game bug reports, but to no avail. I’ve found that if people whisper me during this bugged time I can respond using a hot key, but I cannot initiate a whisper with anyone.

The tower is unable to be taken by enemies because there is no claimer to kill. Further more, when siege is placed in or around this tower, it will occasionally disappear, neither being placed nor returned to the player’s inventory.

This has been essentially free points for Devona’s Rest, and an unfair advantage.

This would be a simple improvement that would greatly increase viable time spent on guild wars. As a WvW frequenter, I know it would be extremely useful to save a preset trait line that I could simply select and be ready to go after visiting the trait re-trainer. The trait lines could be saved and accessible via a drop-down & confirmation box.

Sounds legit, thanks for letting us know before we wasted siege.

No one seems to be able to use the search bar in the forums. I’ve personally tried on multiple computers and none of my guild mates can use the forum search either!

In open field fighting yes, only because you run and dont fight with decent numbers multi times in FC BG, we are even making a video for you so that everyone can see how much running you did even teamspeak commentary.

Two days in a row I have taken part in the Tequatl event and the daily achievement “Boss Week: Here Be Dragons!” has not been fulfilled. In taking part, I have hit the dragon, operated the turrets, and repaired the turrets…. but no achievement follows.

What’s the issue?

It appeared to me that if it ticked from your color to grey, it still counted toward your 3/5.

I am completely against people who rage, so I am being hypocritical here, but….

Are you serious? Players have to specifically waste their time sitting on a ruin point or else it will slowly time out. I wouldn’t call that engaging content for the 60-70% of the day when WvW is semi-dead for most servers. Let’s roll out the carpet for…. AFK WvW players, BOTS, and more!

Not to mention there’s no personal reward for sitting on a point for an extended period of time.
