The thieves that trait for perma stealth are completely useless without it though. Actually, most thieves are. If you pop a stealth trap in WvW on a thief they will run around like a chicken with their head cut off while you obliterate them. Or they will just run away.

Hey you guys are right, HoD zergs are skill-less.

Should make them easier to farm right? I’m not gonna give any super secrets away, but nothing like a couple well placed arrow carts, staff guardians and a choke point can’t handle AMIRITE?!

Think HoD is bad? I implore you to play Kaineng one day. Their zergs actually do have skill, so not only will they mop the floor in a ZvZ fight with your server, their pugs are disciplined to the point where they won’t even break off for a decent small man fight.

You literally fight extremely coordinated zergs all week long. Every person hugs the commanders kitten , like they are still in tier 3. I’m not even kidding.

And one of their guilds alone will take 10 people, and absolutely molest your fairweather pug zerg.

That is something that truly sucks, not a kitten thing you can do about it.

But HoD zergs? Like watching kittens lick the windows on the short bus. Many numbers, yeah. But just PvE’ers lookin’ for a new tower grind. Get your best WvW’ers together, and hit one of our zergs head on and half of em will run when people start hittin’ the dirt.

I promise. Some of my guildies laugh at the things said in map chat and in team chat like ‘Man these guys suck’ or ‘Man they don’t even put up a fight’ but these are the same guys who book it to pavilion farming when tower caps aren’t as simple as building some rams and playing pocket pool.

Same goes for 80% of our commanders too. Only show up when things are easy. Funny really.

BP was worse than Kaineng. You’d cap a camp with 2 players and they’d respond with 25+

Condi spec is boring, cant stab things. Made awesome hybrid build, no real AoE, had to scrap. Excellent 1v1 build, scepter/dagger and dagger/focus, confused many enemies. Still let down by limitations of class. Wtb more escape mechanics.

Yeah, I agree with you there. The lack of stability and gap closers compared to other classes is frustrating, but front-loading every condi in the game on someone in the blink of an eye is just too fun. I’ve spiced things up by using perplexity runes. Pair that with warhorn and you troll so hard. Sometimes I wish I was an asuran for techno babble and pain inverter. Cause confusion spiking on a necro isn’t broken or anything.

Day 4 of current matchup.

HoD continues to roll everything, pugs still not listening to commanders. Seen new commanders pop up, old commanders, apart from a few select ones, arnt tagging up. PvE content hit GoM Hard. K K B claims of a HoD spy, he must be right. Match up will be determined on who can roll AR BL the most, sad day. New warrior meta is beyond my capabilities, too much HP regen, have nearly none myself. DS continues to be useless compared to other class survivability mechanics. Should have 25k * 1.3 lifeforce, only seem to have half that. Even at 50%+ lifeforce, regular health is sustaining damage, i am confused. Liking celestial gear, that magic find. HoD likes omegas, i like omegas too, GoM doesnt like omegas. Build ACs everywhere, no one uses. Food buff i like is 25s each/30 min, sigh. Durios under attack right now, standing on wall, walls down. No HoD in sight so far.

We were individual groups flipping camps to find good fights.

Maybe if you gave us one or two instead of sitting on 3 superior ballistas with 5 people, we would have stopped flipping your camps.

Honestly, the mentality that fight clubs draw people to your BL to flip camps is silly. The people at fight club just want duels and want to stay low key, they are a completely separate entity.

Just popping in to say hi. I was the human female tM necro solo roaming around SF bl all weekend. Had some fun fights with various PoPo/LH players. Looking forward to more.

I spent my night looking for any BS members I could find. I tried to 1v2 your asuran engi and human guard in a camp. I failed, but it was fun. Thanks for the salute engi. Then I found that human guard twice more. You ran to a tower/zerg the first time and then in ruins I wanted to fight, but you ported right when you saw me. I was solo roaming.

I have been waiting for this match-up to fight BS. I will fight you on sight. Please fight me instead of running, I’ve had enough of that from BP/Kain.

First fight: I was solo skirting in and out of my zerg trying to make plays, was kind of fun til I dove too deep.

Second fight: had a 3 man + randoms, was a good fight for a while but alas randoms can only take you so far.

Third fight: Clear 3v5 and we did the best we could until I dove too far trying to help a random that came in near the end again (must remember they’re not worth it!)

I’ll take holding my own 3v5 since all we’ve tried to do was get you to come fight us even when it’s 5v7. I could certainly feel you guys focusing me which was my goal all along, isn’t the game more fun when you actually fight!?

Jokes aside it was pretty good fun, thanks for the fights.

Hey there everyone, today i finished up a sequel to my first “The Pineapple Warrior” wvw solo roam video. This one will feature a tank/condi build as opposed to the burst/CC builds in part 1. Has some clips from this matchup and last weeks matchup.
Theres a variaty of tags, but duplicates or multiple fights cant be seen from the tags Moas, HoA, and FBA from Kaineng i believe from the top of my head.

Had a fun 2v2 with a yellow norn warrior and yellow charr guardian from ZERG, in the ruins. My ele friend and I would have won if a random engineer didn’t crate us when the guard went down. We got you back at south camp though. Toble can tank for days. I’ve got it out for that warrior now =P

We don’t really care about towers, points…etc. I mean be real here, were on ET after all, doesn’t that say a lot?

Are there any small mans out there on BP or Kain? All I’ve come across so far is groups of 10+ that will relentlessly chase 3 players across the entire map.

ZERG mostly runs 8 – 10 atm. We have several other similar guilds, though sometimes we do team up.

I’ve fought ZERG a few times. Not to be rude, but I don’t find fighting under your tower particularly engaging.

It took me a while to grasp this concept, but some people just WvW for the pvp. I had a large argument with PAXA a long time ago about this, but I do understand now why they do what they do and why every small man does what they do. After playing for PPT for so long and then transitioning to the small man roaming play style, I’ve come to enjoy WvW a lot more.

This is my biggest gripe with WvW. But first, let me be extremely clear on one point: I like WvW. It’s very fun for me in its current configuration. (That’s not to say that improvements couldn’t be made, however.)

With that being said, I will NEVER support guild groups that do nothing but fight other guild groups in the WvW setting. I get that they’re looking for something that Anet doesn’t currently provide in it’s current configuration, but I honestly believe they do not contribute anything to their server’s success from a WvW “working as intended” standpoint. I get why they do it, I just don’t support it.

Now if those groups, stop a cap, gank a gang of enemies that are on their way to defend one of their structures, or cap the occasional camp, on occasion, then I’m a little more on board with supporting their GvG craziness.

I don’t think you can use PAXA as a good example of….anything. They are verrryyyy spacial. The lil bus picks them up for GW2 training camp every morning. There are lots of guilds that just play for fights. The surest way to get fights is by attacking/taking an enemy structure. So pretty much all guilds playing for fights impact PPT. Whether or not they care about that resultant PPT is another story…. The guilds that don’t attack any structures are pretty much an abnormality in WvW.

Lol. I’m not saying I like PAXA. I find them to be extremely rude in most cases. Just saying that before my mentality was all PPT is everything, these guys are useless just roaming around looking for people to kill, but I see both sides of the coin now. And I agree with you, small mans do flip camps, take towers, and defend objectives when the opportunity presents itself. And to be clear I’m not talking about guild groups fighting other guild groups. Just small squads running around WvW having fun and doing whatever.

Hang on wait…. the ET server (with all the hard work [BS] is doing ganking the [VS] back lines, and then bragging about it on the forums) is still losing…….But how can it be, I’m reading all the posts about how good [BS] is, in WvW but its not translating in to points.

Ganking a few back line guys from [VS] does not detract from the fact, I’m seeing [VS]
roll the ET BLs, Bay, Hills and Garrison, close to every night this week,

BS is a small man guild. I loved fighting them when I was on GoM. They have mad skill and would love the opportunity to be against them again.
