ANet can make small copy of WvW map for GvG. Who takes more point during 2 hours – win. 1 guild vs 1 guild. 30×30

Not all guilds can (or want to) field 30 ppl … give 15v15 also.
Tbh, I would rather they just gave us the maps and tools for us to decide the format of the battles.

I “bomb” with my my melee ranger, damage isn’t great … I leave that bit to proper dps classes.

Although during peak time, I pulled a ranger off the wall at hills and he used a skill to leap back up there again which I’ve never seen before.

Did he leap backwards or forwards? I have an idea what that could be … maybe we need to react this ^^.

Finaly after weeks of farming the passiflora nodes i got my first passion flower \o/
I am now in the prosses of making more alt’s just to farm the nodes, with any luck that should result in 1 flower average per day, so in about 3 months I should have my gear.

Except for the majority of the week we have been in 2nd. Come those times, we don’t grovel to the enemy and beg for them not to hit us. Sure, we may concentrate on more on the number one spot, but never by forming any alliance with the other enemy. We play by our own merits, as both opposing sides are the enemy. We would never show that we as are too weak to win alone!

Gandarans, we can only take a victory from this week. We entered this match up after climbing yet another tier, now seeing heights we may never have expected, and very few of us expected to be able to hold our ground against such established wvw worlds. However! We drove at them and pushed them to such desperation that they would grovel to their enemies for an alliance against us. Hold your heads high, for this week we have already won!

I’ve never before seen such heart in these kind of posts, other from my own server kringe, you would make a fine role player!

Running a similar build 0/20/30/15/5, but with gs and double axe’s for my wvw needs. And if I ever get around to it, doing pve dungeon’s, I was going to try toughness + precision + condition damage. Using toughness + healing power + condition damage for the moment.

So, because some people on 2 opposing servers have an understanding to focus the current number 1 spot holder in that weeks wvw, you lose all respect for the other servers?

In my opinion, that is what should happen in wvw. Be happy that ppl are giving you fights.

… And give me normal week of wvw, so we can all stop with the, bla bla bla xmas bla bla bla we ain’t online drivel. Getting really bored with all those posts :/

Probably a good idea to sell all the flowers one has now, as when the drop rate get’s fixed, the price will drop quite a bit.

So, as topic states, which pets are good for aoe dmg? Trying to figure out a wvw raid build …

You should have visited the borderlands then Romek, if you couldn’t find the fight’s you where looking for in EB. Instead of “easymoding” by rolling over our server, or knocking our keep doors down.

If your not willing to go searching for what you want, you will never find it.

Did someone miks the drop rate between the Passion Flowers and Dandeloin Blossoms?
Coz I’m getting loads of the blossoms :|

Cempa, can you explain what role you are playing with that build?
Are you running solo, in a group of 5 or a full raid?
What is your main form of dps? Your pet, your sb, or the sw + tourch?

Coz tbh, I find some of the trait choices a little strange …

I only play WvW, and 95% of the time it’s in a guild raid.
My main role is to mud or root ppl, so I run around with a gs jump into a bunch of ppl and deploy my roots/mud. After that it’s #5 axe skill (aoe vulnerability, I’ll have that thank you very much), and spam axe skills / switch back to gs and spam 1. Add in the odd healing spring and moa birds for some ok healing, and that’s what is needed from my ranger.

Must remeber to be more spesific … back on topic.

1) I’ve also been farming the nodes in Southsun Cove for the Passion flowers, both before and after patch, still haven’t got a single Passion flower yet. So yupps, I agree that the drop rate seems poor (to put it mildly).

2) The spesific nodes I’ve been farming are called Passiflora, not Passion vines as stated in the patch. Hence why I asked if anybody had seen one of thoose Passion vines. It might be a typo in the patch notes, or maybe the vines are found somewhere else in the world, who knows …

(if it is a typo, could some dev say so plz?)

According to the Dec. 14th patch notes, the drop rate for Passion flowers was improved … from Passion vines. Now all I have to do is find these vines, anybody seen one yet?

hmmm … I play a “support” ranger … roots, mud, stacking vulnerability … and have a great time doing it … even the loot is nice and shiny.

First off, I would look at the other posts on this forum, there are a few builds posted that are tanky condition dmg bulids.

Second, if you are to go condition dmg, use an armour type that has condition dmg. Using an armour that has power is just a waste of stats …

I luve natur magic … but no more than Fortifying Bond … I just love the Jungle Stalker on pet F2 and Lyssa boons :P

Swoop for me … I just love too see my little ranger fly.

Look into using the White Moa instead of the Fern Hound for the regen. As White Moa F2 is a chill and regen on a lower cooldown than the Fern Hound’s.

(Hope I’m right here, was just looking at the calc/wiki).

I would look into how much of a bonus Speed Training and Commanding Voice gives you in the Beastmaster mastery tree.

I’m toying around with a heal/snare/support ranger … and have speced into Compassion Training and Vigorous Training (double moa). More vigor to dodge more, and then get more protection from Companion’s Defence.
