Meh people play the game and see min maxing as an elitism thing while the min maxers see pvt people as a waste of space.

People need to understand that this game is highly advertised to casuals.

So if your a min maxer just do what we all do and post LFG specifically what you want. Kick the non reading people out of your party.

If your a PTV gear wearer post in LFG you like to take your time and role play in dungeons.

There a simple solution, but out of respect for people dont think your pro because you spam 1 and killed adds fast. Its thanks to the min maxers that learned the instances and might stack/reflect/whatever modifiers..

Still waiting for a red response, I have done all of the work around, I left all the guilds and my personal guild. but no dice. So anytime now anet. I just love really game breaking bugs. I will keep posting to keep this thread alive, because many of my new guild mates are kittened and confused by this bug. They believe they are being left out from missions and other events.

Good job anet for your lack of response and enjoy your exspansion. I am not buying till this bug gets fixed. Because whats the point of a guild if your playing alone. I mean I know im just one person but at this point its the principle.

I will just agree with the earlier post about Necros OP. I mained a Necro that class is broken not broken as in over powered but broken that you will feel unwanted in many situations. I man a guard and ele now and I can tell you we are as balance as it gets. I dont know if your trolling but seriously read on other classes hell look at the mesmer class it will make you feel better.

No offense OP I get your idea but the whole achievement points is a not really a sound strategy. I been playing for two years and only have 6k AP. Why so low, because I enjoy wvw, pvp, and Fractals. I’ll do COE and Arah to teach my new guild mates. having 20k achievements is dedication to achievement farming. Not learning the animations to enemies or encounters. I rather play with pugs that have less then 3K ap that run dungeons/fractals daily then some achievement farmer

Looks like no one cares about us with this bug. So soon has long past from acceptable to ridiculous. When I hear a dev say soon, all i do is roll my eyes.

Oh well I guess its really time to give up on my Necro. Since launch I had him, Dungeons was a sad state for my necro I felt unwanted. WvW was fun but after a year I quit WvW because its boring. PvP was alright nothing spectacular. In all after two plus years of necro play time (1800 hours) I guess there was no saving it. Great enthusiasm devs on the presentation, I mean lets get hype for that Freaking Druid right?! (SARCASM) I hate rangers, 8 toons, no rangers.

3 weeks now since my bug report and I have never felt so isolated in a MMO! FIX PLEASE. Its sad I cant see guild chat. The game feels so dam empty

Its been 3 weeks since I sent a bug report. I have not been able to see or post anything in guild chat! This is freaking game breaking! Anything please fix! Its GUILD WARS! A guild is a group of individuals, I hate just staring at my guild chat and no one says anything. This is not a lone issue 6 of our new guild members are having the same issues. They feel alienated in a freaking MMORPG! WHAT!?

OP just use your prestine relics to get the ring you want. If your a serious fractal runner you will soon realize that they have no other use after. Don’t worry your not missing out. If I could give my many infused zerker rings to you. I sell all my rings that aren’t infused even zerker ones. If I remember correctly the first zerker ring I got from fractals was around my 300 fractals…so I guess that’s an example of how great RNG is (Sarcasm) By then I was doing 50s daily so I had all ascended and had not use for them.

It seems op as many have stated you are playing the wrong game. I do agree of the lore aspect, Legendary should have some kind of lore/quest like my mawdrey back-piece. I taught it was fun making mawdrey. But everything else in terms of stats is dangerous we already have the zerk gear problem were you get kicked in dungeons.

Also ascended gear is not that much a stat boost man. The only reason you need it is for high level fractals, 30+ fractals. I understand you played WOW everyone has played similar games but I am here because 8 years of WOW is enough for me. I want a different game with new ideas.

Enjoy your exotics like everyone else its enough for everything but fractals. You will not have an edge in WVW, why? Because a 20 man zerk is gonna destroy you no matter what gear you wear LOL.

Your best bet for fractal skin is to not hope for it at the end of a set. As the above post said try to get into the 31s for a higher chance. Ironically you will get a lot of ascended armour more than skins. So if you only want one skin be prepared to be frustrated as your chance for that skin is .3% drop. look at all that data. There is a reason fractal weapons are rarer then legendaries. Don’t even think about the tonic XD I have all the achievements and do fractals 50s, 37s, and 29s daily for a year now and I’m still missing the speargun, longbow, spear, scepter, and the one I want the most the SWORD! good luck at fractals.

FYI the lower levels are notorious as being the hardest ones to complete, because majority of players there are unfamiliar with the sets so don’t be surprised by pugs dropping out or just being wanna be metas with no actual idea of how to carry and support the team

Why 50/37/29?
Why not 50/40/30?

Still get 3 daily chests ( 2 of them theoretically have better loot tables.)
40 is almost certainly easier than 37 for instability.

In all honesty its more of a ease of battle thing. enemies die a lot faster on 37 and 29 in my experience, No i have no proof of this its just my observation. After doing a 50 I could care less anymore about rewards and just do other tiers to teach my guild mates who are new.

Guys he just started out and fresh, having him trying to be full zerker or get BIS gear is a bit much. He probably hasn’t mastered how/when to use his virtues yet(No offense OP). In regards to power infusions don’t make them. They are a waste of money for a casual player, hell even for people like me that do fractals 50s daily they are a waste. I understand people will suggest a lot of metabattle.com things to you but don’t be fretting about the expensive stuff. Zerkers with scholars is the way to go for us, but seeing as you are new and casual player you probably barely have enough gold to make/ buy all of those right now. An alternative to scholars is Flame legions. Try those out for burn build. Its just an alternative to scholars till you can get the right gear. Good luck man and learn to love your weapon swap its very important. Also practive those dodges its very important as well, especially in COE dungeon.

I mostly do Dungeons/Fractals, PVP, triple trouble and Teq. But as some have mentioned

1. The removal of lore? why anet? Is it because us veterans from start know about it or is it because you think all these new players are call of duty/FPS just want things to blow up and don’t like to read or learn crowd? Because that’s insulting. Many people who go to MMORPG understand its about the adventure with friends not twitch shooting. A very slippery slope of pandering to the lowest common denominator.

2. Fractals Fractured update/ no leaderboards! reward drop rate lowered to oblivion! no higher levels above 50 for a chance at that stupid fractal weapon box!

3. NPE! I have all classes for PVP because i like to learn all the strength and weaknesses of my enemies but leveling outside of PVP in the PVE world is just sad. Luckily for me I have been on for a very long time and have stacks of tomes so I instantly level to 80. But why restrict new players in PVE? The trait locking is sad, as a Mesmer good luck at leveling because your dps is crap without the right traits.

To be honest no one who can make a difference reads these posts, we have hundreds of forum post on these subjects and more. But devs are busy hyping this expansion that I know from past experience will quickly disappoint.

My only wish for fractals is to finally get higher levels ANET! Because I could care less about the rng or gold reward lets be honest most people at 50s fractals have all the gold they need and their gear is BIS. What I want with this persistent RNG is the FRACTAL WEAPON BOX! That is the simplest solution to this problem that has been since that ridiculous fractured patch.
I will do my daily fractals 50s/37s but when I get multiple copies of the same skin (7 warhorns) it starts to get past frustration. The fact that leader board hype for fractals was thrown out the window, the terrible reward, the many bugs in fractals has broken lots of regular fractal runners. I know lots of people aren’t bothered by not having a fractal title after getting all the achievements but I am. Some of those achievements are actually hard to do. To be honest I am only missing 4 skins and tonic but at this point, I don’t even know why I even bother. atleast let me salvage these skins for some ectos like before. Masquerade Mantle for shoulders, Carapace Vestments for chest, Winged Gloves, Wupwup Breaches for leggings and Masquerade boots

Back is the Fractal Capacitor Double Infused

Weapons are Wupwup Dagger and Steam Gizmo

Dyes are Shy Lilac, Flare, Lipstick, Violet Breeze, and Heliotrope
