I don’t really see how this would split zergs…
And to make it so only the player/group that did the most damages gets loot looks unfair to me.
In bus, I’m specialized in control – That is I make almost no damages, but I stop the ennemy from moving for long enough to allow the DPS of the guild to bring it down.
In roaming, I go alterations – that is my dots are not yet all in that the ennemy is down, when I have a war in the party.
Such a thing would only encourage zerging with wars – as if the current meta wasn’t already making wars “the” class to have…
