Play with smart players who can think and know what to do. Often controlled chaos with good player is much more effective than very controlled tight melee train.

ok so for all you defenders of condi bunker builds: WAKE THA kitten UP!
and realize its broken. Dire stats give you c/t/v so you max out your dmg your toughness and your vitality. Yes its not effective in zerg play but the issue is not there but in solo roaming/dueling.
Go to OS and see who is it dominated by. Condition necros, mesmers, thief, engies and even eles and warriors.
Regular power builds stand little to no chance against your regular condition build with dire stats/perplexity runes.
The reality is that in those situations delivering direct damage is a lot harder and is a lot less rewarding than delivering passive damage and just kiting around.
So where is the balance?
So PVT is max damage gear too.

You can use the new map as a waiting room while queuing for a traditional map. You can also enter EotM straightaway and play there without ever touching the other maps.

Normal maps are PPT maps and PPT just ruin every fight.

This bring fun back in www. There will be less blobbing because everybody isn’t in same TS or at least blobs are much less organized so smaller guilds can have fun too.
Most of the map is karma trains, sadly. It’s not really that interesting as far as I’m concerned.
Karma train drops loot just like other trains.

Try to enjoy combat, because this game get boring fast if you play it like normal mmorpg. So don’t just stand there and auto attack even if mob can’t really kill you. It’s good dodge practice kill mobs without taking any dmg.

Anet really should do this so everybody can enjoy game. I know that some disabled players use mmo mouses or special keyboards like logitech G13. I just haven’t tested G13 so i don’t really know how well it work with GW2.

One of the biggest balancing problems in this game is that no build should be able to produce large amounts of damage (condition or otherwise) and still be extremely tanky.
Not the issue. The problem is being able to produce large amounts of damage and still have extreme damage mitigation. This can include being tanky, but it also includes being stealthed for 80% of the fight, being invulnerable, and over abundance of control effects (knockback, pull, knockdown, etc). Any weapon or class that is capable of avoiding damage through these means needs to have the weapons that cause them nerfed in damage. Hammer needs to do way less damage with warrior, invuln for mist form and F4 shatter need to be reworked, and stealth needs to have duration cut in half, or more ways to get the thief out of stealth.
Everybody can relate to just minding your own business, rotating camera around scoping out enemies, then, bang, out of nowhere you’re stunned by basilisk venom, 5k cloak and dagger, invisible thief so you can’t interrupt the chain or escape because of the stun, then 6k backstab. before you can even react the thief has either healed for stealth, cloak and dagger again, etc. it’s just ridiculous.
Mitigation abilities and traits are a separate issue entirely, but I very much agree with you. I’d personally love to see all forms of active mitigation have their durations cut dramatically across the board so that timing and skill would become more of a thing.
My original post was specifically referring to build options and baseline stats being so generous. You can build very heavily into power or condition damage and still have over 3000 toughness. In my opinion, things like PVT shouldn’t exist because it takes away the idea of having to make sacrifices for damage or survivability. But that’s simply how this game operates and I absolutely use PVT on some of my power characters.
Yes because now it too hard to kill enemy. Thief need to hit like 3 times when enemy should die one hit.

Install MSI afterburner and HWinfo and do some mad configurations (you can find some guide). Playclaw have this option too, but it’s not free software.

I don’t really even play anymore. I just do dailys and try to get enough mats to craft time gated mats every day. After this is don’t usually have any motivation do anything fun in game. Game was ten times better before ascended gear.

Well crazed mobs in south sun are fun. Good practice. There should be some zone full of very hard mobs and even harder mobs.

Well there come point when you need to two man/solo dungeons or play PvP if you want challenge. Of course it depends little bit about play style and spec too. If you play some knight geared warrior only champs can kill you in open world PvE no matter how badly you play.

New map to address the Queue’s due to arrive when there are no queue’s left in any tier.
All the effort gone into an overflow map that has no effect on the outcome of the weekly match and there wont even be an overflow.You can join EotM whenever you want. It is labeled as an overflow kinda, but it is just another map you can join, like Ob Sanctum.
It has no bearing on server score, because it contains every server (all NA servers are grouped together when joining the map, and so are all EU)
People just love to find things to complain about lol
