Yep, they’ve been pretty upfront about all of this stuff from the moment they started talking about Revenant details, such as Roy’s reply in an old post regarding the possibility of a unique starting zone:

Professions do not have their own starting zones. A character’s starting zone is determined by the race that was selected.

At the end of the day, there’s nothing to say Revenants didn’t exist in the original story. NPCs almost never talk about professions as a thing (that I know of) so it’s not like the story referenced all the other professions and it’d be weird for the Revenant to show up.

The whole Rytlock is the first has never been said ingame thus far, so it isn’t part of the lore. He’s just the first for marketing purposes.

Some Mastery points will come from content that existing players may have already completed, and these Mastery points will be automatically awarded to you with the release of Heart of Thorns, allowing you to get started on your Mastery journey right away.

They have said you’ll retroactively receive master points/exp if you already did the content to unlock it.

If you talk to the child after killing Grawnk they’ll give you a consumable that unlocks an item collection that requires you to go gather the stash or ornaments. When you’ve done that, you’ll get the wintersday tree node for your home instance and a Star of Gratitude that consumes Empyreal Fragments for gifts.

Edit: But as Erukk said, we never actually give the ornaments back. I just assumed lore wise the item collection represented giving them back, whilst mechanics wise we’re no better than Grawnk.

I’ve seen people claim that the Legendaries spawn more regular under various conditions (how many keeps are held, their defence levels, how many people are at a keep, etc) but I’ve not seen any sort of official statement to confirm it. I think even if there are factors that improve spawn rate, it’s still a case of RNG is RNG.

I know how you feel though, I spent most of the two weeks looking for the Demolisher while the other three seemed to just keep popping up. Finally got it over the weekend when he spawned just as I was about to go off on Sunday.

I’ve just had the same thing happen to one of my characters going to Dry Top. I’m now stuck in a loading screen whenever I try to play him. All my other characters can get in fine.

Just to add on to what others have said. All it does is alter an NPC in your home instance, mine (Kormir) is stood just outside the orphanage on the right as you enter the instance.

They just sent it. I’m guessing they got my address from when I’ve bought gems (using PayPal). That’s the only time I remember entering it.

I saw this post and I just assumed it’d be US only (I live in the UK).

1. I think it’s unlikely to get destroyed again. When that happened is was advertised as a one-time event.

2. It got fixed progressively over a few months. Then was randomly replaced by the holo-projector, I don’t remember seeing an ingame explanation for how it was moved (a wizard did it?). Then just as mysteriously it was swapped back in… But it was rebuilt slowly after being destroyed, it’ just the incident with the holo-projector that was sudden.

This is correct. Once you defeat her you can get back in there.

It would help if it actually said which achievements count towards it, there might be more than five but you only have to achieve five of them (that’s just an assumption, if people are already at 5/5). All I know is mine did the same thing on “field assistance” but I’ve been making progress in the “Portal Invasion Closer” to 2/5 by participating in two map invasions (the three waves + Scarlet event).

Portal Invasion Closer is for being there when one of the Meta Events ends (even if you fail).
One of the achievements in the Clockwork Chaos tab counts towards Field Assistance (not sure which) so that’s why you’re seeing 3/5.
