@Kalkz The screen shot posted is clearly tampered with. That’s EBay BL and I see some cleverly Photoshopped in blue structures. As we all know thanks to test pig, AR doesn’t go there.
I do like the recommendation from them that AR hit an area that will help secure BP getting a wider lead on AR. Those are brilliant tactics if we are trying to get a BP win.

AR finally engages ebay..(even tho they took it from a keep that was previously owned and downgraded by BP). But if they stay in ebay, it’s all good, it’s how the fight is supposed to work with 2nd and 3rd place servers hitting the 1st place server.

This is the first time AR has done this. good job AR, you finally are not playing for 3rd, instead, you are playing smart.

What you consider night capping, is someone elses day.

not saying AR needs to cap an ebay keep during the ebay primetime.. no point on that, just want to see AR actually take a keep on ebay, anytime, night time, day time, sleepy time, whenever. AR does not touch ebay.

When AR has a force to take an Ebay keep, Ebay has a much bigger force, When Ebay sleeps, AR sleeps, and BP (Kalkz) fights doors all night. We do not have a population to be in this tier, but we are willing to put up a fight.

Notice when both Ebay, and BP are in ARBL at reset, we don’t come here to cry like BP does about everything, but instead we laugh, and have fun because we enjoy the crazy fights against crazy odds?

I would love to see BP take an EBay keep during the day. But I have yet to see that. AR gives us bigger and better fights during the day than BP does btw. It’s like your server gets wiped and gives up until later. AR just keeps on going and going. Some people on our side laugh and call it badge farming, but there’s a lot of us who see it as a large group of people who aren’t giving up unlike another abnoxious group of players.

Night capping isn’t an issue. It’s how the game is played. The one time BP held a keep in our borderlands during the day was after being capped and upgraded by Kalkz in the middle of the night. That’s fine, no complaints there. Just all this showboating about night capping is getting old old old and tiring.

Without Rekz and FTF, Ebay would be Borlis. Until these two guilds show up, Ebay isn’t particularly dangerous. Sure pk can field a zerg but so can Borlis during our high population hours. BP does lack organization and strategy but that comes from being mostly a PUG server.

Thanks but you’re not giving enough credit to those guilds who man our borderlands all the time(mostly by our small to medium sized guilds). That almost solid defense at our home bl..FTF wasn’t responsible for that. Our guild is usually on the offense. Then there’s GH and pK. These 2 guilds raid almost everyday!

Well, I had fun. Thought they did pretty good all in all. Been a while since I’ve had to kamikaze anything. I was the [YUMI] Thief who kept probing our Garrison you were holding onto quite tightly. Killzone was pretty impressive too I might add. Tried desperately to get that treb down you had on the supply hut. Thought I had it too, but your fellow up there manning it thought quickly and used knockback to shove me off there into the somewhat stupefied masses below. Ended like crowd surfing, but with sharp objects. =D

Borliss, and Kalkz, thank you for a delightful time. Sadly, I must go do other things now…

So AR just doesn’t seem to learn… Again BP turns our eyes back towards ebay… we take everything in EBAY BL, we take SM(to downgrade it, and let AR have it…) and what does AR do? instead of hitting ebay, which is already being stomped in their BL, the start to hit the BP corner in EB.

This is why Ebay is winning this tier. not because they are that good, or have a greater primetime population.. because AR never attacks them. And it’s not like AR doesn’t have the bodies for it, these early monring they have a 30-40 man zerg running around trying to take our towers.. instead of just using that zerg to hit the outmanned ebay.

Why do you kids fear them so much?

Don’t you understand, that this could be a much better tier, with much better fights if we bring ebays score more in lined with the rest of ours?

We had Anvil Rock set up perfectly for 1st Place last week. They had a fully upgraded Stonemist with a Waypoint, no pressing on their borderlands. the Ebay Hills was in our hands and their Garrison and border towers were getting Wrecked.

All Anvil Rock had to have done to win that round was press the Ehmrybay Bay Keep and Lowlands and it would have been all over. Instead AR suddenly got a massive hard on for Overlook keep and the Borlis Hills Keep. That and my personal favorite, the Anvil Rock Pangloss rush. Ogrewatch, Mendons, portal. 10 minutes later, Ogrewatch, Mendons, portal. Rinse and repeat for 2 hours. I got so tired of hanging onto Ebay’s hills by our fingernails only to hear “Anvilrock is attacking our Garrison with golems XOXOXO”.

Its clear AR wanted our attention, so now they got it. Its also clear our efforts to fight Ebay were what was holding the flood back, since now that we have switched gears Ebay is just wrecking everything and AR can’t seem to do much to stop it and we just don’t care.

They just can’t figure out its the duty of the weaker servers to ruin it for the stronger, but instead they just kept going into our keeps while we were trying to wreck Ebay borderlands. We got tired of constantly being back doored by AR while we tried to fight Ebay, so now AR is gonna be the red team in this tier. On the plus side though, this means Ebay may finally get their wish and move up a tier. Still a long time till friday though.

Lets be honest here. You got tired of coming in 3rd , so now your playing for 2nd.

You do realize that the only reason you made so much ground on AR is because some groups from EBay started “bowling” people off cliffs, the group grew, and we ended up taking most of AR map while you were working on the other side for no other good reason than “we felt like it.” AR didn’t drop 10k points because of your intensity, Kalkz. They dropped 10k points because they were at the mercy of both servers for the majority of the day and night.

BP should be able to sympathize a bit there. You know what it’s like. I’m just continuously amazed at some of the posters here who have some crazy ability to completely forget that fact for the five minutes it takes them to post on the forums.

To be honest though, its not surprising it happened. It was obvious we were only baby sitting Ascension Bay and not doing anything else, but that Waypoint meant we could bring our Zergs in to fight. AR descided to go for it anyhow, even though Ebay was clearly on the map in strength. I watched AR fail repeatedly at getting their Hills keep back. If I was the Ebay commander and suddenly saw the force I had been killing handily dissapear and go try and open up another Keep, I would have followed along behind too, let them do the work, and then kill them again, this time inside a keep they were trying to take. Which is pretty much what would have happened, even had we not reinforced Ascension bay.

And then, having failed to retake Ascension Bay (it went to Ebay in the end) and their hills (still held by Ebay) AR goes to Borlis Borderlands and takes down our Garrison and Bay. Funny thing is though, in an hour or two we’ll have them back and AR will still not have their Hills or Bay back.

First off good job on holding Bay for so long.. Great work keeping it for as long as you did.

Second learn to give your enemy props when they do well.

Third. We outsmarted you and played to your weakness to over commit and SEKz lust for orange swords.

We had those golems ready . We’ve had them for hours. I myself had to refresh them 5 times. We have up hills so we could go on the offense and use the zerg we had. This kept SEKz on the map and looking for a fight. So we gave them one.

We planed to rush bay and get into inner. We expected that you guys would call out for help, your defenders had the outmanned buff, we figured we could get past outer pretty easy and possibly inner, which we did. We expected lots and lots siege , which you had. When your forces showed up we pulled out to the hill.

We were planning to hold out on the hill and get a small havac squad to rush your Gari with golems. When we saw SEKz , we pulled away long enough to let them portal in folks. SEKz took a little longer than we wanted but in the end it worked out to our advantage. You guys portal bombed us on the hill and we fell back to lure you into SEKz. As expected SEKz rushed you guys, when we saw this we ALL went to your BL to meet our golem train.

We didn’t expect SEKZ to take Bay but figured they would see your massive zerg and stay and party. Which they did, and we figured you guys would tunnel vision and stay, which you did.

I dont’ know what all happened in our Bay between BP and EB but it lasted long enough for us to Golem rush Garri and Bay on BP and we were at hills gate when we heard SEKz was taking our Bay. We figured BP zerg would come in to save Hills but we were already commited and went ‘all in’. south door down , inner door down. No Zerg. We pushed into Lords, BP showed up and managed to rez the Lord. We won out in the end and maaged to take hills.

So in all, we flipped, Garri , Bay and Hills on BPBL and you lost our Bay to EB all within 30 mins. It was a great way to finish the night off and end a long day of WvW.

Thanks EB for keeping us busy all day. Awesome showing by BP all day holding in Bay. A special thanks to SEKz for doing that thing you do so well.

And a big salute to all of Anvil Rock who stuck it out all day.

yea ebay doesn’t bother with AR because AR isn’t a threat. i have yet see AR hold any keep in Ebay BL.

AR is only eating scraps.. and while those scraps are sorta working for them, i can’t see how it’s much fun.

BP takes and holds Ebay BL..for 24 hours… and AR eats the scraps left over in Eternal.

BP could easily just decide.. heck lets hit AR and push for 2nd… but what would be the point of that? AR and BP just focusing on each other doesn’t hurt the 1st place zerg server.. just helps them stay in first.

BP focusing on Ebay, just leaves ar to eat the scraps, which still keeps ebay in 1st, but at least keeps the scores closer

AR and BP focusing on Ebay at the same time, brings the tier in an overall line of balance, it’s much better fun for everyone.

By reading all the posts about “AR” are “FAIRLY” in 2nd because they “deserve” 2nd, Kalkz and some BP guilds are officially pulling off Ebay BL and focusing AR all week,, Even tho we might not be able to do much due having Ebay focusing us in BL and AR focusing us in Eternal but i’m pretty sure i’ll make some people scream at night

Its almost 4am EDT. This means we are still a couple hours shy of when Kalkz will finally start the golem rush on EB BL (unless like last week those begin on Monday mornings when everyone is at school/work).

ebay just capped BP bay because AR were at inner hills, Plus those Ebay had unlimited trolling (throwing rams on my dead body & jumping each time they kill me -_-) i was highly considering flipping all AR BL at night everyday due those AR commanders who act like, Ay we should be working together, Then u find him at your inner hills after 1 hour. After pvd ehmry keeps over and over at night … Anet blessed me with a program called PsD (People Skipping Doors) It allowes me to open both outer and inner gates at any keep in wvw without using any siege. This should stop ebay complaining about me doing PvD. the support guy from Anet clearly said in the message that there’s no need to break the doors and waste your time since Ehmry wont be able to stop you, here’s the program .. use it well, In other words, even if i reached your keeps gates without the program you can consider the keep lost

Kicking BP out of the tier doesn’t really make anything easier, AR is the more challenging opponent right now, not BP. Although DH doesn’t use cookie cutter tactics and it might bring a refreshing change. Anyways, it’s not even Ehmry who is doing the kicking… It’s BP playing for first and DH getting good evolution.

Also I wanted to let everyone know I’m working on a presentation, well, a tutorial of sorts for counting group sizes. I’ve noticed throughout this match up we have had by far, some of the worst simple number counting I’ve ever seen. There will be pictures, charts, step-by-step counting procedures, and even an email you can send questions to if you have a screenshot and are not having any luck counting the tags!

I also think Zara should post more on BP’s behalf, some other people just make them look silly.

Wanna bet ? Real bet ? I promise. I will pay Sekz 100g, when BP drops a Tier (IF), then Ebay will totally destroy Tier 5, Then you will have to pay me 100g. If u did win with less than 40k lead, i’ll pay

1. There were NO mes present when we swept it.

As a “pug” commander…I am having fun in Eternal BG! I don’t get zerg crazy but if you step into the AR sector while on my watch…look out. I am the Char necro that over extends too much when there is a big zerg in our sector or anywhere else really. I think AR pug groups are scary business and if a commander understands the manpower/map coverage ratio then things get really interesting…

WAR (War Lords) would like to thank all guilds! We learn with each win and wipe. If you are in WvW…we like you. Even though Ebay brings that lag debuff and BP are backdoor beauties, I am glad to have made it this far with people I have been playing with for months. Both guildies and non-guild members alike. It has been fun to make this long and painful climb.

AR has fought against odds for months. This is nothing new to what we have already been doing. Usually an underdog at first, our resolve keeps things interesting. I know we don’t have the numbers to “challenge” Ebay. But like I said before…AR is a pve/tpvp server and now we have the numbers to prove it. Honestly, no harm meant, I hope BP gets pushed down a tier for a bit and DR comes back up. Would give us all a slightly fresh mixup. I don’t think eBay is going anywhere anytime soon either, so we’re stuck here.

Whats wrong with being able to tap? Its a diversionary tactic. It is also smart to contest close WPs while attacking towers/keeps. And not to mention kitten near required to keep a keep contested that has a WP since 1-2 spawning near the lords room every other second makes capping impossible.

IMO Tapping is part of a good havoc team. Keeping the enemy on their toes and constantly checking things. Not to mention it slows down zergs and helps to break up server sized zergs.

Its not a good tactic, its a terrible tactic, Conteseting was made by Anet for strategies such as holding a full force outside the keep while there’s a small squad hitting it, Holding forces here and there while the keep is under attack, it WASN’T made for solo thieves to stop your whole team from spawning at that waypoint
