+) When you quit the game it can be many reasons, one is that your bored of what your doing. So instead of quitting you could go to the guild hall (which people would do instead of quitting) because its like a home/a main area.

List some other reasons please.

Guild Halls would be amazing for GW2.

Why I would use it:

- See a weapon/item someone is wearing and inspect them, then just see the price of it,etc.
- Show them in big view
- See their cool weapons,etc.
- Its just a nice feature that makes the game more of an mmo.

by the way you guys are very correct about the kicking, it has happened to me twice so far where I was doing a dungeon and they asked me my gear (that was even before we entered ). So like I do think that the benefits would outway the negatives.

And such as the lost shores the world itself (envirorment) is not very nice for a summer event in my opinion.

The idea with the beach is great but the beach itself has a dirt color instead of a sand color, everything is really dark and close on you.

I think that mounts or something like mounts should be added.

Why?:
It adds an over layer of a new feel to the game. And something super fun to look forward to (unlocking at level 80 or something).

The bad?:
People may say mounts are bad,etc.
Well arenanet could test them in alpha or them selves and see then.

I was blown away for the first time experiencing Shadow Behemoth.
It was so amazing, I felt true horror more than any other video game and 99% of other horror/thriller movies.

I was just blown away, and after he did the scream and made a box or something I almost started crying.

It was amazing, just amazing.

The class does not have to be just healing, it could be like elementalist. elementalist have the same base line as necromancer.

Would you not radar or something too like elementalist/etc but mainly focuses on healing spells. A spell could do both damage and healing. The elementalist has that as water but not very helpful or enjoyable if you want to heal.

Healing too can be massive fun. And when you have all the cool spells its even better.

I support you in that. But what makes you go back to a zone? Usually it’s to actually play the game. And walking around for a few minutes and not really do anything but smell the flowers and look at the skybox wouldn’t really work for a lot of people.

You would be very tired of a zone very quickly. There is a thing as too much action. But too little would be very bad as well.

Think of Cursed Shore.
Have you ever ever gong to Cursed Shore because of its “beauty” .
Cursed Shore is a hell zone, so dark and dirty.

Even in WoW you would have the amazing Uldum which is AWESOME. The whole feeling of it, to colorful. The artists/designers in WoW really captured some amazing zones in WoW.

Where would you radar go? Cursed Shore or Uldum in WoW. Think of Mount Hyjal too in WoW, and even the city Darlan. And don’t you forget:
Grizzly Hills.
Zangarmarsh
etc…

It’s extremely depressing if you’re doing chain events in Straits of Devastation all by yourself, and I wouldn’t like to experience that again in any other zone. Perhaps a LFG tool could fix this, so players from other servers can come and “guest” on your server and help you out with an event.

Yeah your very right about the LFG tool, it would be amazing to have it in GW2. So much more people would be using it and its so much fun to do anything in mmos with others (in a party/etc)

WoW – Elwynn Forest (Goldshire → A classic, such a nice place to chill out. the other thing is that Elwynn forest enters into Westfall and westfall/elwynn forest enters into darkshire, and darkshire is like elwynn forest except darker, darkshire also has that nice mini villege too.

^ That all in general is a classic, the whole feeling of it is great.

Aion?- Some nice zones.
Tera?- That zone with the rainbow/clouds/green grass/tress/hunting lodge/etc

NOT rift anyway, rift is a great game but in my opinion most of the environment/zones are very dark and lacking creativity. There’s no real feel to it, also the beach in rift is also like dirt. etc…

What GW2 is missing that MMORPG’s get wrong so much is the easiest thing to do. “Open Space”…that’s right. Open-space of plains, forests, deserts and oceans makes the world feel more alive and thriving. But most MMORPG’s forget this element and the world ends up feeling rigged, constrictive, and in the end, suffocating.

It would be nice when GW2 opens up more maps, north of Tyria and the Crystal Desert, that they make things more open and less rigid. Not every inch of the game needs to be filled with action….let the game breathe a little and people will feel less confined in the game. The art to crafting a world is illusion…the illusion that the world was naturally made, not by man. Hopefully GW2 implements this, or a future MMORPG does….

There has only been a a handful of games that successfully done this. I will not name drop…lets see if anyone can guess the MMORPG’s I speak of

There are some amazing zones in GW2 and others not so good.

GW2 is a lovely game with great classes at the moment. The idea of the game too is not to have a tank,3 dps,1 healer,etc which is GREAT.
But when your in some of the high level zones (80) trying to defeat lyss it can be really fun to have a healer class.

Now when I say healer class I don’t just mean all the class does is heal but like the warrior class it mainly focuses on mele damage so the healer class could focus on straff healing and damage. or something like that.

The healing class would also include:
- Magic spells
- Nice musical spells (such as harp play,etc) -> healers targets around you, (and the harp plays a nice piece of 3 cords or something).

Make the class nice and fresh/clean. I would totally buy an expansion if this class was in it.

Mounts is a great idea but then you must look at GW2 is very small.
GW2 is big yet small or small yet big.

I wanted GW2 to get mounts after seen the second trailer for BLACK DESERT mmo.
Combat on mounts, chasing after monsters with bow and arrows,swords,etc.

Think of the lost shore beach where the females are in panties and bras and men in boxers.
Now such as in WoW lets compare that to The westfall beach.
+ The Westfall beach is way way way bigger
+ The Westfall beach has way more colour to it. (In GW2 it does not even look like sand, its more like shaded dirt which is not good.)

I did not want inspect or armory to see if the player has good gear or not, that does not bother me at all, why I want it is to see what other people have and to compare it, see the prices,etc. If you see their armor and go like oh wow (something from the gem store) you can inspect them and see whakitten is

Summer holidays is almost here and I really think if a new Summer event like wintersday was added.

+ A nice new green/bright zone. With the sun out and everything.
+ The summer feeling, (buy new stuff in gem store/ t-shirts/towels/panties/etc..
+ etc…

Please, the the lost shoes is not really an even thing, it has no purpose to it. Its not like the same as halloween or wintersdays events because they a full reason behind it.

Please a summer event would be amazing and would attract a-lot of attention to GW2,please.

A level 80 and I were levelling up, I then invited someone else, I could see their text in party but they did not come in the party panel. I was not even sure if they were in the party.

But this was fixed after I logged out and logged back in. I could then see him.

May ArenaNet please please look at adding an inspect opinion to players alts or an Armory to the website/in game please please please.

This would be a tiny but a huge feature.

May a zone please be made or even a whole new world that is full of bursting imagination, Fantacy , clouds , skys , galaxies ,etc.

Something bright and happy that when someone enters the zone/world they are amazed by all the other zones put together.

As you may know playing with people from your guid, or random people in GW2 via a party is super fun, it really adds an overall layer of fun and happy to the game. It makes the game more enjoyable, the game already is super polished (could do with much more) but when playing with people in a group.

The feature:
Remember in WoW you had the raid finder?, people would put up what they were looking for, as some would remember that did not quite work out (not many were using it).

Anyway, it would be like that except its for finding people to so certain things.
Examples:
" Looking for help for levelling (can’t finish story on by my self, i keep dying .)
" Looking for person to level with, i’m a level 21"
" Looking for farming buddies "
etc etc….
So it would kinda be like gw2lfg.net or gw2lfg.com even.

What this would do?:
This may increase the amount of players on GW2.
What? Thats a very big statement, how come?:
+ Because when your playing with someone else it really makes the game more fun, last night a lovely level 80 helped me level my new alt to 28 last night, I was up until 5am lol (drinking coffee and eating/ really enjoyed the game. I even bought gems (first time ever) at 4am because of the rush I was getting when playing with the level 80. (not because he was level 80 , any level is fine). We also picked up two others to help them level, it was a blast. One of the people too said they enjoyed it so much more now when we were in a group.

Now of course its an mmorpg and its to be played by your self too but sometimes it can be super fun to get in a group and have an extra blast.

Please Guild Wars 2 developers, please please look into this, even make an alpha for your selves and see if it works good.

The design/environment is very important to video games, right?.

We have in order like this:

Dirty/Dark:
- Guild Wars 2

Medium (Not polished/not dirty)
- WoW

Glossy/Crystal clean
- Tera

Now, it would be good if we got GW2 closer to the cleaner section.

Now, don’t get me wrong, GW2 has some amazing zones but the rest are mainly dirty & dark which can turn players off the game.

Please just look at some of the dirty/dark zones in GW2.

please, this would be such a simple but awesome feature.

Player Shops/Merchant Districts:
A nice thing to see would be the ability for players to set up their own shops. I can see how this could become messy though. Plays could litter the towns streets with their shops. To solve this problem, in towns their could be merchant districts which contain designated areas upon which players could set up their shops.
Merchant Districts could also contain all the other forms of trade in the town. Including NPC merchants, auction houses, etc.

Player Housing
Players could purchase houses (Each in their own instance similar to Guild Halls), and could customize them and invite other players to their houses.

Other Methods of Travel
New methods of travel would be nice to see. Instead of just being able to walk or map travel, players could potentially use mounts to travel, ride in a wagon with other players, take a boat, etc.

Well having animals going around in the world of GW2 and been able to collect them is pretty neat.

That would be cool or a world wide channel. I go to a website for the group finding thing. It would be even more cool if there was a World wide channel in the game itself (making the game seem more completed )

I think Guild Wars 2 is one of the leading mmo’s which can do much better within its range. I think GW2 needs to be more “complete”. Instead of buying the make over kit (ITEM) have a barber shop and then buy with the gems , hell I would pay twice the gems because your interacting with the world and you know its there which makes the game overall more fun and complete.

But what about this?.

Guild Wars 2 also has a toy or GEM Store shop?.
Guild Wars 2 I think needs more type of shops, weather they are useful or not they make the whole world seem more complete including the game.

Please look into this.

Only thing guild wars 2 that is wrong in my opinion is legendaries and various other grind to get stuff.

Makes people from being helpful working together people who want to explore the world, into antisocial greedy people who crave money every second and arent aware of the work the artists of this game slaved into making behind dungeon walls.

I have 490g all from having fun i never do something just for gold i do it for fun as well the gold just adds extra excitement.

I like that you have to grind to get legendaries.
I don’t have any and don’t think I ever will unless I put my mind to it but I extremely like to see them on the black lions trading because its like this higher thing and you thinking about having it is even better. And then when you see people have legendaries you know they worked a-lot to grind for it.

Quite true indeed, some of the loading screens are amazing (OUTSTANDING) (nice colorful/bright/etc) and then others not so nice..

I found it hard enough to find a guild. I welcome when I get invited by a guild.

Lions Trading:
It is very choppy/slow. Please try to make it feel more smooth/fluid.

Character selection screen:
I think there could be much better for a character selection screen. Just saying…

Example:

Every Friday at 7:00PM there is a massive world-wide invasion/event.
Everyone must stop what they are doing, join together and fight to stop the invasion.

Rewards:
Something even better than a chest. If the people on the server stop the event susfully a ship comes in filled with treasure (http://shpintv.com/images/2013/03/the_disney_world-treasure_planet_wallpaper-.jpeg).

And each person can get a certain amount.

Now I know that will never happen but it would be amazing if it did but something similar even.

Your on to something, It would be awesome if every Friday for example there was a massive world event. (All over the world).

And all the people on the realm had to stop what they were doing and join together and fight.

- Please, Make animations more smooth.
- Please, Add emotes
- Please, Add homes or guild halls
- Please, Better environments/Areas. Spend more time creating them instead of having LQ zones that you don’t enjoy playing in.
- Please, More medieval styled stuff in the game.
- Please, Add Super texture quality or just improve the quality of textures. (There’s a big difference to what people see and not much of an FPS decrease)
- Please, Sit on chairs
- Please, Duel players in the world (there is no FRACTION VS FRACTION) So at least give duelling
- Please, Inspect player.
