Housing would be cool,
The negative side may be if everyone gets a house it may make the people in the world drop down a small bit so it would be good to only limit a number of houses per server, etc.
Feedback:
- Improve the texture quality.
- Add more medieval style content.
Look and this new game coming out:

Hello,
So I love events, and sometimes I go around the zone to find one. But sometimes there are events going on and I don’t know, other times I have to ask in chat any events. ( May others do that do).
So what about you can buy a book and the book has a spell and the spell allows you to see all events on map in your zone or something.
^ Something like that please please please!!!
Far from perfect. Housing is most wanted by casual gamers and roleplayers. Telling them to ‘Just buy gems’ to get a house? Sure, I’ll take a second job so I can have a house in a videogame… The perfect solution doesn’t exist, as soon as someone thinks it up, someone else will top it. A better one would be to add a house you can buy in your home instance, or a quest to obtain it. A noble player could have a chain where their home is seized and they have to get it back somehow. The street players, they just get the old hangout of the gang they do away with. The commoners just move into the tavern after saving it. Then story quests and gem shop things added to improve them, add npcs, etc.
Just roleplayers?, but sure they may play the game all the time.
And instead of a house how about a Castle?.
That is very cool indeed, I would buy loads of gems and buy a house with them.
I don’t like that idea much. It should be available for everybody, not only for the people that have time to farm or that can buy a lot of gems to trade for gold.
Keep in mind that GW2 is for everyone. It is not only for people that can play for over six hours a day, but also for the ones that can only play a couple of hours a week.
How about an instance that we can customize and that everybody would have as default? Also, in a couple of months after the release of the system you are suggesting, all the houses would be occupied already. So what about new players?
Well sure if you can only play a couple of hours a week what would a house matter to you then? But for the people who really love Guild Wars 2 and play it even as a sport.
Also you could always buy gems or something… But sure new players would have to get to level 80 first and get into the game and then think about getting a house, that’s the whole point.
This idea is totally wrong…..I mean….80….u sure =.= ? They should follow Aion’s housing system which is pretty decent imo.
Not 80 what so ever,I was just making an example. it could be 5000000 or just 5…
Or some area in the world where a certain group of people hang, etc?
Legendary weapons are already unobtainable for most players, and there are a LOT more of them than 80 in the world.
But if there were housing instances, I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to move different people in the same house, they’d just each get their own instance (like dungeons) when they enter with or without their party members.
Yes but thats good about Legendary weapons as they are Legendary for a reason, so housing would work out perfectly too.
Cool idea, what about a world wide channel ?
Hello,
So I don’t really mind about housing, the bad side to it if everyone had a house then no one may be in the world.
So what about something like this?:
There are only 80 houses in the world AND the 80 houses are spread out over the world of GW2, Each house also has a lovely unique design and size. You could a couple in the country side and others in the city/etc. And the prises very.
BUT THE thing is there are only 80 houses, they cost a-lot of gold . Players must earn the houses by earning the gold (which would be super duper awesome fun because your setting yourself a goal →selling on ah/etc →;;; or half or full buy it with gems, etc??…
This way it won’t empty the people in the world but will just make it so much more kitten awesome fun. It would be amazing, PLEASE GUYS. What do you think about this?!!!!
Thank You.

Hello,
In the towns & cities for example:
- Add more areas such as
:: A harbour
:: A trader area
:: A potion area
:: The main area where everyone is
They are just some examples, there is so much more.
Make the cities more like a road like system, so you know where your going. Each area has a point to it instead of random area and random object.
The other thing is:
- The hangout/home area. Where is the main place where players just chill out when they are not playing?, in a city? which location. Instead of just random places in the city (such as the environment) have each area mean something. Also homes would be cool but only like lets say for example 80 houses can be used and you pay them with gold or gems.
PLEASE please look into ArenaNet team.
Thank You
Guild Wars 2 is meant to be the leading MMO on the market today right?:.
What the game needs is to be more complete.
Instead of buying gems and then using an item to change your facial hair, facial features, hair colour, etc there should be a shop in each city and some towns where you can go into and get it all done there. (now thats when I would really pay for gems.) (Barbershop)
That is much much better than just opening an item and using it.
Same example for travel, instead of using teleport’s use boats in some areas. of course teleport’s and boats are good but make the boat move and then teleport you.
that would seriously make an increase of quality to the game and way more gem buyers.

A couple of months ago when I hit level 80 I quit GW2 because when I hit level 80 all that really changed was the level number.
It would be really good if new features were added that are only averrable at level 80.
Now its great to have features too before level 80 but have more unlocks(new stuff at level 80).
→ New features (such as: new worlds,level 80 special skills,new pvp maps,etc)
→ More power/control than everyone else under level 80 (When you reach level 80 you have more power/control over stuff in the world of GW2)
→ Special abilities across the world.
→ In general…
;; – “When you reach level 80 the game just begins”, You now have much more power than everyone else and more control over situations. You venture more across the whole world in GW2. You can become better, better than all people under level 80 and people at level 80. More REP,etc… Play more and more and get better. Your alt becomes stronger, etc… (than usual upgrades)
Thank You!

Use SweetFX and everything is instantly fixed.
That does not change the textures, etc… thanks anyway
Another example:
- The beaches IN GW2 are just grey. The color/feeling of the sand looks like a quarry.
- The beaches in WoW (Westfall for example) look amazing, Even the beaches in Aion blow you away but the beaches in GW2 are just plain quarry color.
Stuff like that.
Thanks!
Yeah, thanks a million to the team, they make such a great game and have amazing update contents, I continue to pay with gems.
Hello,
May the designers/art team of Guild Wars 2 please please look into making the environment/world more colourful?. And more pointfull.
What I mean by Colourful:
- Some areas/terrian/etc in Guild Wars 2 seems very “dark” or sloppy.
An example: https://d3b4yo2b5lbfy.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/a5800Southsun-Screen-4.jpg
the ground is just like its painted on, no real work went into it. Its like the final Zone in Guild Wars 2 (with the zombies) , that zone was so dirty and dark and everything, I quit guild wars 2 during that zone many times. Now don’t get me wrong, the zone idea is great but the environment itself with its colours and everything is very very off.
Its like some of the dirty emo zones in Rift but even worse. The ground/rocks/etc (whole environment pretty much is just like its scrap or very very low quality. There’s no real feel to it. Its just extremely dark bland.
But when you have zones like Queensdale & Wayfarer Foothills it just blows people away, those zones are just amazing.
Please to the art/designers, please please look into this Please.
Thank You so much for making an amazing game.
I continue to pay for the gems and everything.
Thank You very much again!
nvm ,I just found out of the mmo Black Desert .
It makes GW2 look like a card playing game
Hello,
In GW2 you have some buildings/areas that are not well lit up. They appear to be dull and dark. This can sometimes be a problem and reduce the fun of the game.
Goldshire, Lions Pride Inn
http://ironyca.files.wordpress.com/2011/07/goldshire-071311_023240.jpg
Village of Shaemoor Inn
http://www.paperstreetprod.com/temp_images/gw2/gwbeta1shaemoor2sm.jpg
As you can see above I got a the best image of the inn with full light. It could be more bright and have more of a color wow factor in my opinion. As you can see its still a little bit dull and all of the other time it is very dull and dark. Please Please look into this as it really can make a big difference. Have the places a nice place to even hang out in, so one would even login to GW2 just to go to the Inn <— now that would be great, more people too!!
Have GW2 more like this?:
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/images/thumb/d/d5/On_the_Mend.jpg/400px-On_the_Mend.jpg
More of that neat/tidy lovely look. Now of course you can’t just make things better but adjusting and changing or spending a tiny more time to add and update the detail can make a big difference. It would be amazing to see more pubs like the image above (pubs are a public house and having them feel like a public house is great!)
Thank You.
Greetings,
So if you would like to travel the world of GW2 and go around doing loads of stuff around the world it is really nice to enter nice little towns, and have the feeling of the towns embraced. Make it look and feel like a town. Have the layout/design/environment/etc so it all fits and feels good. That’s what the design and art is about, capturing the feeling , you know?.
Its more like you enter from a walk way (path),etc and Come into this town where you have stuff going on or like you know its a town straight away and it feels like one. And the town has a certain feeling to it. The buildings, flowers, etc (overall environment. )
That would be super awesome.
Thank You.
Hi,
Some of the zones in GW2 seem dirty/all over the place/dark/etc.
When I’m in these zones my GW2’s enjoyment is reduced by 70%-80%.
Also when in Ruins of Orr I quit many times because of how bad the game felt to me.
The Norms , Human starting zone are amazing. Queens Forests, etc.
It would be great if there were more zones like that.
Thanks
That would be great, another one too might be (interact F → Wave → They wave back )
that would be awesome!
Yeah, nice. cool feature
Just what I was thinking. In my opinion also I think there needs to be more of a big deal about been level 80.
Also after you have reached level 80 you can do something else and build and build on that, spending your time and creating up something, making it better or something.
Yes, I also agree.
I think the human areas in vanilla WoW had the best designed zones I’ve ever seen in any MMO. The progression from the Northshire Abbey to Goldshire/Elwynn to Westfall (or Redshire) to Darkshire was just brilliant. In particular the build up of the Defias storyline where clues about the Defias plot are slowly revealed by exploring the zones (not just talking to NPCs) and culminating in the Deadmines dungeon was superb. (Now the Horde zones on the other hand, bleah lol)
I100% think the same thing lol
Feedback please?
Kind of the whole point in eliminating quest hubs is that you don’t have to follow a straight line. You’re supposed to go off course, that’s all part of the plan.
no no, Not a straight line at all, but more organised and clean.
Well look, I think that some “main” area or something should be in gw2. lion arch is not for me anyway, in wow you had darlan, stormwind, nice green zones, etc
Hi,
Can ranking up mean something please?.
its like its too balanced and that you could have someone that spends all time on gw2 working really hard on their alt and they as powerful as someone that rarely plays BUT the person dedicated to gw2 leaves after time because there’s no point if you get me.
;)
Hi,
I made it to level 80.
i’m now on my second main alt but I have 2 others ( 18, 20,)..
The thing is i’m now level 10 and don’t see much motivation to keep leveling, there seems to be no award if I level and that the zones are just the same. I would love there to be more nice clean green zones like Snowlord’s Gate.
so in the world there are other places like Snowlord’s Gate. (Snowlord’s Gate = that green area zone)
thank you.
What about housing for the top players on the server?.
Then people can also visit that Island with the houses (lets say top 15).And on that island its like lions arch (you have all the helpful npcs, etc. I love the idea of lions arch but for me I don’t like to go there as my home, its just too dark and dirty I find.
I don’t think so because the “Top” players of a server are ridiculously hard to measure, think of all the great PvE players who have no interest in WvW and sPvP.
You could have time and effort.
How much effort you put into the Game itself and how hard you work with the game.
This could be a new thing for when you reach level 80!And for those who don’t have the time? And you can’t measure effort over a broadband connection. A medicore player on a small laptop may put in a lot of effort to be medicore while experienced players with good rigs need put in little to be better.
I have a good enough rig and I am useless with pvp.
I never kill anyone.
I don’t know what to do/where to go.
I always die.
I am always lost.
just because you have a good rig does not make you good.
its about your skill
Even been having it monthly to yearly even.
And the top players that own the house also get this other type of star by the name or something so when they in the world everyone knows that’s them and they will be like omg that’s the extreme player.
like make love not warcraft episode.

Hello,
So like people may say that housing will make the world empty, I also agree on that but I don’t mind housing either.
What if there was an Island or another world in GW2 Added.
And on that Island its like a “paradise” and pure “fantasy” .
The island also includes “15” houses or some other type of house.
You can own/have the house if your the top “15” players on the server.
Or you could even have it in the GW2 world and the island/place is all the servers.
Please please take a look into this and what do you guys think?.
Best Regards,
Knight.
Thank You.

Player houseing? No.
Guild fortress/housing ? Yes!
Let guilds decorate large structures the way they ant, players can claim various rooms and just decorate the room int he guild they have claimed as their own. If you stop repping a guild your stuff is immediately returned to you (oh look a built in way of rewarding members for stickign with one guild!).
Would be great
- Also preview item please.
and when opening the auction house it seems to refresh or something and there’s bugs along those lines.
not like bugs but radar it would be better if it was changed
Hello,
Say for example crafting items needed to craft an item.
Such as for example [ Forage fish head ] , To get those [ Forage fish head ] there is an area in the GW2 World. lets say for example shortchrest shore, and at shortchrest shore you have fishes that drop [ Forage fish head ] ,
So players can “farm” them,etc.
Even when I was playing WoW I needed to fish in an area to get fishes, then I could make a potion that would make me bigger.
That was really fun and its one of those things that gives another point to the game. Another meaning and like you must do this if you want it and it was really fun.
Thank You.
I have to disagree here. A good portion of the game is about exploration, and having the players stick to the beaten path would greatly take away from not only that, but the game as whole. As it stands now, GW2 encourages you to search and wander. If you want to just find the leveling areas, the Scouts are there.
Well yeah your right, I agree with what you said. I also hate when there are games that put invisible walls and all that <— That is kitten awful and really takes out a chunk of the game play in my opinion.
But what I mean is, That when your leveling you keep going along and more far away (and closer to the next zone/area of that level area).
Thanks.
Hello,
You know you have the White Mos’s in the game, etc. Take White Moa for example in the Zone Wayfarer Foothills, I would kill the White Mos’s just for the sake of it, killing them is like killing even other creatures (real monsters). They have the same value.
What i’m trying to get at is all the different creatures seem to have the same value worth to the player, They just look different. So like all the enemies in GW2 have the “same value” so to speak.
So in my opinion the player needs to feel like.
“Oh there are a group of boars over there”.
- The player knows their value and what they are worth and they can separate the boars to fireflys for example.
Please look into what I said. I may not be direct with it either but along the lines.
Thank You.
- Sit on Chairs/etc in the GW2 World.
