Nothing stops Two-handed weapons from having F2. You just design new F skill for GS, Hammer and LB.

For example, Greatsword F2:

Gladiator’s Defense

Block incoming frontal attacks for 0.5/1.0/1.5 seconds. Attacks within 300 range extend Gladiator’s Defense duration by 0.5s (1s ICD per target). Max duration: 4s.

Yeah, don’t know why I counted that out lol

Answers:

3a: Yes, it heals from outgoing condition damage too. Was mentioned in the Twitch stream.

3b: Yes, they still function, as mentioned in the Twitch stream. They didn’t mention anything about levels while in Berserk, afaik, but I suspect Level 3 is the only one that will be possible… which is amazing since max adren when in Berserk only requires 10 hits.

3c: They didn’t mention this on the stream. It would be odd to start it when initiated given the cooldown is shorter than the duration, but I guess we’ll find out.

3d: Yes, Hugh mentioned on the stream that he’d made a build that played with this mechanic. I don’t think there’s any reason to think it can stack in intensity, and I doubt it’d stack in duration but I guess we’ll have to see.

3e: Probably just the one, as normal.

3f: I believe they said all adren/burst related traits were to work in Berserk, so there’s no reason to think it wouldn’t.

3g: As per 3f, yes, probably.

Thanks for the answers

RE: Answer 3c. I thought the Cooldown and duration were the same.

My dislikes of the Berserker is that they made it such an upgrade to Warrior and not a side-grade like it was supposed to be. They got Necromancer’s Reaper right and that’s about it (perhaps Dragonhunter too?)…

If they were going to go this route, they should have just made it so the Berserker gets OFF-HAND bursts so that picking the Berserker means you miss out on some capabilities of the standard Warrior. And since they already made the skills for a lot of weapons (longbow, greatsword, hammer, rifle, sword, mace and axe), you’d just need torch, warhorn and shield burst skills, preferably something tactical. But instead, it’s like Berserker has everything a Warrior has + a whole other book of tricks.

I feel as if it is more of a side-grade for a few reasons.

1. The Primal Bursts, although they can be used more often than the default Burst skills, they do less damage. (Granted they do have some additional effects)

2. The Warrior’s Traits within their Specializations, I feel are balanced equally as is. This being said, to use the Elite Specialization you would have to sacrifice current awesome Traits, which I find hard to do. (Probably won’t rebuild current Warrior builds I have at the moment as I feel it would be too much of a sacrifice. Will most likely create a new Warrior specifically for Bezerker.)

Regarding Off-Hand Bursts: I probably would’ve preferred that over Bezerker. Having a secondary Burst skill option (e.g. axe on F1, shield on F2), at hand on the F2 button would have increased flexibility and tactical thinking in combat. Would however of sucked for Two-handed weapons.

3. Questions

3a. Does the Heal Skill Blood Reckoning: Heal for a percentage of the damage you deal. Critical hits heal for more and give extra adrenaline.

Damage to Healing: 30%
Bonus Crit Conversion: 20%
Adrenaline: 1
Duration: 6s

..give healing on outgoing condition damage?

3b. Do the following Traits still get their final tier functionality when the Adrenaline Bar is full whilst in Beserk mode, and if so what happens with their lower tier Adrenaline Bar boosts?:

Beserker’s Power: Gain a damage boost when you use a burst skill. Boost power increases based on how much adrenaline you have built.

Adrenaline Stage 1 (10s): 10% Damage
Adrenaline Stage 2 (10s): 15% Damage
Adrenaline Stage 3 (10s): 20% Damage

*Adrenal Health: Regenerate health based on adrenaline level. *

Adrenaline level 1 healing: 117 (0.05)?
Adrenaline level 2 healing: 234 (0.10)?
Adrenaline level 3 healing: 351 (0.15)?
Interval: 3s

*Cleansing Ire: Gain adrenaline when hit. Remove a condition for every bar of adrenaline spent when you hit with a burst skill. *

3c. Does the 15 second recharge time for Bezerk mode start once you’ve activated it or after it ends? https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Berserk

3d. Will the Trait Rousing Resilience: Gain toughness and health when you break out of a stun. be overpowered..

Healing: 1,000 (0.1)?
Rousing Resilience (8s): Gain up to 1,000 toughness based on your level.

..when paired with the Rage skill Outrage: Break out of stun and gain adrenaline for each foe near you?…..

…and does the effect of Rousing Reslience stack on multiple stun breaks? If so, in what way? Duration or intensity?

Adrenaline: 3
Number of Targets: 5
Radius: 180
Breaks Stun

..is equipped?

3e. Does the 5 second recharge on Primal Burst skills apply to both weapons on use or just the one currently equipped when used?

3f. Does the Trait Versatile Power: Gain might on weapon swap. Burst skills recharge 15% faster apply to Primal Burst skills?

3g. Does The Trait Burst Mastery: Burst skills deal more damage and restore adrenaline on use

Damage Increase: 7%
Stage 1 Adrenaline Restored: 3
Stage 2 Adrenaline Restored: 7
Stage 3 Adrenaline Restored: 10

2a. Torch Skill 5, Flames of War: Cleanse conditions and become a mobile fire field that burns nearby foes. When the field expires, it explodes, damaging foes and burning them again.

Damage: 760
Burning (1s): 131 Damage
2 Final Burning (5s): 1310 Damage
Conditions Removed: 2
Number of Targets: 5
Duration: 5s
Radius: 180

I just like it

2b. I like that rage skills give Adrenaline.

2c. I like the 10% attack speed boost with Beserk as I feel it synergizes well with the Stance skill Frenzy: Frenzy to gain quickness and might

Quickness (6s): Skills and actions are 50% faster.
5 Might (6s): +150 Power, +150 Condition Damage
Breaks Stun

..and the Trait Fatal Frenzy: Gain an attack-speed boost when activating berserk mode

Quickness (2s): Skills and actions are 50% faster

..and the Trait Dual Wielding: Attack speed is increased when wielding a sword, axe, or mace in your off hand.

Increased Attack Speed: 15%

…and the Trait Heightened Focus: Gain Quickness when you strike a foe that is below the health threshold

Health Threshold: 50%
Quickness (4s): Skills and actions are 50% faster.

I feel as if these grouped together will convince people to use other weapons rather than Greatsword for DPS

2d. I like that Primal burst skills can be used every 5 seconds.

2e. I like that the Trait Dead or Alive: Taking fatal damage while in berserk mode ends berserk but heals you and converts remaining adrenaline into health.

Healing per remaining adrenaline.: 266
Healing: 2,610

..does not have an ICD.

2f. I am in love with the Trait Eternal Champion: Gain stability while in berserk mode. Gain stability when you break out of stun.

Stability (3s): Cannot be knocked down, pushed back, pulled, launched, stunned, dazed, floated, sunk, feared or taunted.
Boon Application Interval: 3s

Feel free to debate and correct me

I will try my best to refrain from current existing warrior build influenced opinions.

1. Dislikes

1a. As much as I like the idea of the warrior getting a bit more condi, I genuinely hate it that I feel it is stealing the Guardian’s thunder with all the fire. Kind of feels like “The Guardian’s Apprentice”.

1b. The utility skill Sundering Leap:

Leap to a location and gain adrenaline. When you land, deal damage and inflict vulnerability on all foes in the area.
Damage: 512
10 Vulnerability (6s): 10% Incoming Damage, 10% Incoming Condition Damage Adrenaline: 5
Number of Targets: 5
Radius: 180
Combo Finisher: Leap
Range: 600

I feel this completely over shadows the utility shout skill On My Mark:

Call out target foe to make them vulnerable.
10 Vulnerability (10s): 10% Incoming Damage, 10% Incoming Condition Damage Range: 1,200

Even with traits to help shouts out, On My Mark would only cooldown 1 second faster than Sundering Leap. Sure, Sundering Leap applies 4 seconds less vuln, but can apply to 5 enemies. It’s a gap closer as well as a leap finisher. On My Mark requires a trait to grant it adrenaline on use when Sundering Leap doesn’t. Sundering Leap also applies damage on hit. I know thematically it makes sense, but practically I feel it renders the shout unwanted (Even with the possibility of a quick small heal when traited). My issue is not with the skill, but that fact that it belittles another existing skill.

1c. This applies to all Elite Specializations, not just the Bezerker: The first minor trait, I feel should be baseline. I thought Elite Specializations were supposed to add new roles and playstyles. Why though do they add them at the sacrifice of a minor trait? I feel as if that Primal rage: You can equip torches and use rage skills. Gain access to berserk mode and primal bursts, and other Elite Specializations’ first minor traits should be made baseline when choosing to equip(?) them and have the trait replaced with something more fitting. I don’t like the idea of people sitting on the fence of choosing between a current Specialization and an Elite based on a minor trait.

1d. Shattering Blow: Summon a rock in front of you, and then shatter it to gain adrenaline and send rock fragments at all foes in front of you. Foes bleed based on how close they are to the rock. The shock wave produced by this attack reflects projectiles

Damage: 631
4 Bleeding 0-200 (10s): 880 Damage
3 Bleeding 201-400 (10s): 660 Damage
2 Bleeding 401-600 (10s): 440 Damage
Adrenaline: 5
Number of Targets: 5
Reflects Missiles
Range: 600

Not too fussed about this: Don’t like the animation. Summoning a rock seems weird. I’d much prefer to stomp the ground and have a rock rise infront of you ready to punch/ charge/ tackle into the enemy. Warrior’s aren’t elementalists

1e. The Primal Burst skill for the sword, Flaming Flurry: Lash out with a flurry of strikes that destroys projectiles and shoots fireballs at foes in front of you.

Damage (8x): 880
8 Burning (1s): 1048 Damage
Number of Targets: 5
Pierces
Range: 900

Genuinely like the implications of this skill, just not a fan of how. Shooting fireballs from a sword? What? Just seems Bizarre to me.

A couple of questions

in Revenant

Posted by: LeviQuiteQuirky.6892

LeviQuiteQuirky.6892

Thought up a build but can’t decide on a few things as I’m not clear on a couple of things.

1. Is https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Momentary_Pacification this trait any use when it comes to shiro’s elite skill or should I just save it for others?

Examples: Use with Mallyx’s elite as it’s a low cost upkeep skill and the trait has a 10 second cooldown which would allow me to daze enemies for 2 1/2 seconds every 10 seconds fso I could follow up with a quick condi/ dps burst….

or use with Glint’s initial elite facet activation then use the secondary cc after daze ends.

2. What scenarios would shield be better than off-hand sword?

Sure you get some healing, protection and some invuln(?), but you sacrifice capture-point contribution, as well as a massive backfire if your defiance bar gets obliterated.

The sword on the other hand I feel has more use as you have a 2 second block (Can you apply condis to people blocking? I forget) which allows you to stay mobile while using, and can still contribute to point capturing, on top of the opt out skill which allows you to inflict immobilize for 2 seconds. The 5th skill on sword is an amazing cc for pulling a single enemy away from zergs, rezzing or stacks.

3. Last question (for now): Does protection effect how much you are healed when you activate https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Infuse_Light ?

I am asking this as it inverts all incoming damage to healing. If you have protection applied, you are lowering all incoming damage..sooooo…you see me point.

That’s it so far. All these apply to my current theory build. There may be more issues/ theoretical issues that haven’t been clarified yet with other possible builds as I see some skills and traits overlapping. Thanks for reading.

A Berserker seems like the polar opposite of a Samurai to me

Where did this Berserker name come from anyway? All I’ve seen is a “Datamined” picture. Never saw a name with it.

Personally i’d rather have Kenshiro’s Hokuto Hyakuretsu Ken. https://youtu.be/-kPII561-GY?t=2m1s

That’s closer to what I was trying to say. Not quite, but closer. The video audio raised my partner’s eyebrows though. Thanks for that lol

What I was thinking the specialization will be is similar. Based on the idea of in battle and what not, but a little different.
Adrenaline changes to rage (matching berserker theme)
1st bar of rage: 15% less damage taken
2nd bar: Above + -15% condition duration
3rd bar: Above + 15% faster attack speed
Once fully built, you can enter into berserker mode, which basically doubles everything for 5 seconds. So:
berserker mode: -30% damage taken
-30% condition duration
+30% attack speed
(Possibly some might stacks too?)

This would fit the whole theme of a berserker (which I see as the more you are in battle, the harder you fight). Also doesn’t seem ridiculously overpowered (maybe I’m just blinded my self-infallacy). Further more, it offers a nice balance so it does not favor condition nor power builds.

The other great thing about this that I just thought of is it helps warrior maintain that tanky theme it is supposed to have, being a heavy armor class and all, without just giving COMPLETELY mindless (only semi mindless ) stat boosts.

This is a more realistic version of what I was thinking. Thank you for wording your idea better than I could mine

All the replies I expected to hear. Still made me laugh though. Maybe I shouldn’t have mentioned DBZ as an example. I exhaggerated my own idea. Soooooo…that being said, forget the title and the flying lightbulb barrage.

What about martial arts and the use of chi? You, don’t have to give up your weapon for this. My idea on giving F1 burst skills another use, similar to rampage and lich I still stand with (Short durations though, no HP boost).

Didn’t samurais and other sort of warriors in history train their minds, bodies and souls to defeat enemies? (Feel free to correct me in any way shape or form there as I’m 95% sure I got something wrong lol). So far Warriors just seem like a run in smash, slash and dash class with nothing more. I’m ok with that. But I was wondering if the profession was ever going to evolve into something more. (I do not mean Guadian)

What do you guys think?

Note: Please disgard the Goku like comparisons I made. :P

LeviQuiteQuirky.6892

I’ve been on the forums a lot lately and have read a few speculations on the new “Bezerker” Specialization being hand to hand combat (punching enemies in the face). Then I watched Wooden Potatoes new vid on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDULOykGyyE. About 5 minutes in he talks about this and how it would be stupid if implemented with the example he used. Then I started thinking…yes it would be stupid like that, but would be awesome if you could use a transformation/ kit/ shroud-like skill based on adrenaline build up. So with a new trait line, you could focus/ convert your adrenaline into Chi (giving up you default F1 skills). When activating F1 after building up your Chi/ Adrenaline. You would enter something similar to Rampage and Death Shroud (without the massive health pool).

What I can imagine:

1. Build up Adrenaline/ Chi.
2. Pressing F1 to enter focused state/ enlightenment or whatever you want to call it.
3. Rushing foward at superspeed (like bulls charge, shadowstep or blink), punching the enemy in the face, knocking them on their bottoms. Activating another skill wich shoots a kamehameha like skill or a barrage of energy/ chi orbs at the target area.

this idea was thought over in 10 seconds so you don’t have to take me seriously. But I got excited over the idea of it like a kid on christmas when I had this brain fart. :P

What do you guys think?

Distracting Strikes Build

in Warrior

LeviQuiteQuirky.6892

Looking for a Guinea Pig for a build I have conjured up. I’m on break until HoT release and I’m hoping someone can road test my build and give me feedback.

Traits:

Strength

- Reckless Dodge (Deal damage to foes at the end of your dodge roll)

- III Peak Performance (Reduces the recharge of Physical skills by 20%. Physical skills deal 10% more damage for each bar of adrenaline you have accured)

- Building Momentum (Burst skills restore 15 endurance if they hit)

- IV Body Blow ( Stunes, dazes, knockbacks and knockdowns inflic weakness for 3 seconds and 2 stacks of bleeding for 6 seconds)

- Stick and Move (Deal 10% more damage while your endurance is not full)

- VIII Distracting Strikes (Interrupts inflict 4 stacks of confusion for 8 seconds)

Defence

- Thick skin (Gain 120 toughness while you are above 90% health)

- III Cull the Weak (Deal 5% more damage to weakened foes. Striking a foe without weakness that is below 25% health inflicts weakness on them for 3 seconds)

OR (Depends on ranged or close combat fights)

- I Shield Master (Reduce recharge on shield skills by 20%. Blocking an attack grants 1 stack of might for 8 seconds. If you block a missile attack you reflect it instead)

- Adrenal Health (Heal every 3 seconds based on your current adrenaline level)

- Sundering Mace (Reduce the recharge on mace weapon skills by 20%. Mace skills apply 1 stack of vulnerability for 10 seconds whenever they hit a foe that is dazed, launched, knocked down or stunned)

- Spiked Armor (Gain 150 toughness while you have retaliation. Suffering a critical hit grants you retaliation for 5 seconds (15s ICD))

- Cleansing Ire (Gain 1 adrenaline whenever you are hit. Remove 1 condition per bar of adrenaline spent when activating a burst skill)

Discipline

- Versatile Rage (Gain 5 adrenaline when you swap weapons)

- II Warrior’s Sprint (Move 25% faster while weilding melee weapons. Using a movement skill removes the immobilize condition)

- Fast Hands (Reduce recharge of weapon swap by 5 seconds)

- VI Brawlers Recovery (Remove 1 condition whenever you swap weapons (combat only))

- Versatile Power (Gain 2 stacks of might for 10 seconds whenever you swap weapons (combat only). Burst skill recharge is reduced by 15%)

- VII Merciless Hammer (Reduce recharge of hammer weapon skills by 20%. Hammer skills deal 20% more damage to stunned, dazed, knocked down, or launched foes)

Weapons and Sigils

- Main set Hammer – Sigil of Impact (10% damage vs stunned, knocked down foes), and Superior Sigil of Cleansing (Remove 1 condition on weapon swap (9s CD))

- Secondary set Mace/ mace or mace/ shield. Depends on what enemies you may be facing. – Sigil of Damage (5% damage) and Sigil of Energy (Restores 50% endurance (9s CD))

Note: Also considered Sigil of bursting, Sigil of Paralyzation and possibly something that poisons.

Armor and Runes

- Carrion/ Occam’s (Condi, Power, Vitality)

- Rune of Perplexity

1) + 25 condition damage
2) + 10% confusion duration
3) + 50 condition damage
4) 25% when struck to inflict 3 stacks of confusion for 5 seconds. ( Cooldown: 25 seconds)
5) + 100 condition damage
6) +20% confusion duration; when you interrupt a foe, cause 5 stacks of confusion for 8 seconds. (Cooldown: 15 seconds)

Note: Also considered Rune of the Adventurer

Skills

- Healing Signet
- Bulls Charge
- Stomp
- Balanced Stance
- Signet of Rage

Notes:

- I have not yet had the chance to try out the buffed Rampage elite skill. Signet of Rage helped me a lot before as it gave faster access to condi cleanse and interrupts.

- Traits: Stick and Move + Cull the Weak + Merciless Hammer + Sigil: Sigil of Impact can give the Hammer a 45% damage increase. You also have access to a little Vulnerability with the mace too

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I’d greatly appreciate any feedback and anyone willing to test this build

Making Banners Count

in Warrior

Posted by: LeviQuiteQuirky.6892

LeviQuiteQuirky.6892

I personally have never found the idea of holding a banner at the sacrifice of your weapon of choice appealing. Yeah, placing them down for blast finishers are cool, but the whole thing with banners make me feel stop-start and bores me quickly.

Here is a couple of ideas I come up with (No, I haven’t thought how they Anet would implement these changes):

- Make banners after picking up stowable. So you can weaponswap to it, either keeping the bonuses from the banner while it is actively equiped or stowed away. Swapping to it would either be through an Fx button or pressing “`” an additional time.

- or simply have an option to attach/ equip it to your back (without the sacrifice of your currently equipped weapons), and if you wish to place it down, press a designated button to do so.

Thats pretty much it. Feel free to expand on my ideas or bash them. I don’t like banners and probably never will.

Ascended stat holes

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: LeviQuiteQuirky.6892

LeviQuiteQuirky.6892

Q: Why did Anet stop with their current ascended gear stats?

To clarify:

- Carrion ascended (Occam’s) are lacking rings, back pieces and amulets with these stats. I personally feel this is unfair as people who use Zerker stats can have a complete Zerker gear set yet people who wish to use Carrion gear (and maybe others ) don’t have the same liberty.

- Other stat combos such as Ferocity, Precision, Healing power are not available. Why? I’m guessing (from a quick glance), because they would only aid specific builds in a limited number of professions.

Is this intentional for balancing purposes or just a neglected area of the game?

This isn’t a whine thread. I would just like a better understanding of the above. Thanks for reading

Suggestions/ Solutions: New Equipment, Boons

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: LeviQuiteQuirky.6892

LeviQuiteQuirky.6892

First off, let me just say that I am, and have been on a hiatus from Guild Wars 2 (Probably not returning until I see what HoT has to offer), but have been keeping myself up to date with everything that has been going on via these forums and the news.

So, my main character/ toon; was/ is a non-meta hammer + m/m or m/sh warrior (for PvP and PvE). With a build calculator I have noticed I have had my choices of utility skills pretty much funnelled into physical skills. Ok, I get bleeding and weakness and vuln with my weapon attacks, and confusion with my traits of choice which is nice and all, buttttt…

1. I would Like to see new types of armor and weapons (with different stats) as I would like to have condi, power and toughness or vitality in one set as I feel this benefits that build. THAT ASIDE …I have a feeling increasing the available stat sets in equipment will dampen the overall “meta” and create more individual player diversity and player satisfaction when it comes to your own identity as a player in the game.

2. As I feel I have been pushed towards physical skills with the build I am using as an example, I do not like that it is easily defended against in PvP with stability and have little else to use but CC skills as my utility skills (except Throw Bolas) which are also defended against by stability. I ASSUME that will make me feel like a one trick pony (again, on hiatus).

3. As you have created counter boons/ conditions, e.g. slow / quickness I would like to see more of this. My idea was to have a Boon similar to your newest Boon baby “Resistance” which temporarily negates the affected target of all effects caused by conditions. This Boon I have HALF THOUGHT OUT will definately be a lot of work (I am aware), but I think would be a great addition to your current selection.

My Boon suggestion: Bliss – Temporarily ignores the effects of all the target’s boons. (short duration to stop it being OP)
EDIT: Could work like a venom but with a smaller usage time (5 secs and 3 hits, whichever it ends first etc)

Ways in which to get this boon:

- New Skills
- New Sigils
- Via Finishers and Combo Fields (New finishers and/ or combo fields?). With the new combo creating an aura that will activate on either being hit, hitting the enemy or.. while the aura is up (long aura time, 5 secs or so), you have an option to hit an Fx button (F2 etc) to activate it within the aura lifespan. If the latter aura was viable I would call it “Ignorance” and when it is activated you would receive the Boon “Bliss”

To finish this off I will say:

- I am aware this probably affects a minority.

- I created this so others can debate and/ or come up with new ideas and suggestions/ solutions to current in-game inbalances instead of wanting the Anet team to revert to the previous pre-patch game client as I feel like Guild Wars 2 is evolving and should continue to (without losing the core essence of why we initially got the game).

- I have chosen to focus on my non-meta build in this topic as it is something I can go into detail with. I am sure there are similar issues/ dislikes or wants with other professions so please discuss them if you wish to

I hope Anet reads all your comments and takes them into future consideration

EDIT: No, I DO NOT DEMAND Anet to do or use any of the above. No, I do not have any idea how much work this could possibly take. I’m merely spitballing ideas and enjoy solving problems in creative, different and above all construcive ways.

I also like constructive criticism x

I have censored some stuff because I believe this is a scam. I have not used the link in the picture. there is a guy posing as a GM. I am just raising awareness. I felt the reporting function for mail wasn’t enough. That is why I have posted it here.

I beg you Anet. Please do not make the new legendary weapons anything like “The Moot”. I am a mace lover and I hated the fact that this weapon was a gimmick. Make the new legendary weapons kitten looking and not something to amuse a kid for 10 minutes please

top professions for max condi cleanse

First off, forgive me for not knowing the names of specific skills as I am too lazy to find the proper ones.

The Mesmer: The glamour skill works well to remove condis along with the mantra that removes one per use.

The Ranger: There’s a heal skill that does AOE condi remove with healing that’s pretty decent. Also, there is a signet so your pet can draw all condis from you.

The Engineer: There’s an elixir that converts all condis into boons. Plus, there is a trait to make all elixirs (including toolbelt elixirs) to remove one condi upon use. If you apply that with elixir cooldown its quite good

The Thief: I believe there is an option to remove condi in stealth, Havent really looked into any more condi removal for this class

The Elementalist : I think there is a trait where every time regeneration is applied to you, you lose a condition, plus the utility skill that removes 3 conditions on use is decent. I think (going off memory) there is also a trait that with every cantrip you gain regen on use, meaning condi removal on use.

All that being said, I’d say Mesmer, ranger and thief have the worst condi removal and too right. Rangers do a tonne of damage from a far meaning less risk for them. Mesmers are good at ranged too and are a pain with their clones and phantasms. Thieves are just high risk high reward depending on the person playing them. Necros condi removal is too slow for my liking but it seems to balance out well because of that. The Warriors condi removal is also too slow for me even with the burst skills cleansing, I feel without the stances the warrior loses its “heavy armor” feel to it. The Guardians are absolutely fine. The condi removal is great on guardians, I just wish they would concentrate on their less used skills.

Engis and Eles if traited right have decent and regular condi cleanse try them.

1. Do you have to complete the WvW maps to get 100%? If so, which ones?

2. If I do need to do that, how on earth am I going to do it if my world sucks at PvP?

Are we getting more at any point? I mean there are 3 Greatswords but only one of all the others and some just put me off..I’m a fan of maces but the moot? felt like a slap in the face. Some just feel like gimmicky weapons rather than legendary weapons.

I’d like more choices, would you?

Guardian Virtues Traits Query

in Profession Balance

Posted by: LeviQuiteQuirky.6892

LeviQuiteQuirky.6892

So I was looking at the Virtue Traits and I noticed “Indomitable Courage” has the effect of the supposed superior trait “Shielded Mind” with the exception that “Indomitable Courage” is in fact better.

Indomitable Courage (Green Trait) – Activating Virtue of Courage grants stability to nearby allies. Virtue of Courage’s passive effect triggers more frequently.

Shielded Mind (Yellow Trait) – Activating Virtue of Courage also breaks stun for any ally affected by the ability.

Am I missing something or am I right?

[Suggestion] Inventory options and unlocking skins.

LeviQuiteQuirky.6892

I don’t know if I’m the only one finding going through and clicking each individual piece of equipment in my inventory (92 bag space) just to check if I’ve unlocked the skin for that certain item tedious.

Solution – Have a toggle option in the inventory menu that allows us to see locked and/ or unlocked skins. Maybe have a little lock icon on the items?

Anyone else think this would be beneficial?
