Lol. Feersum Endjinn, i can see that you are mad. what’s the point? Like what many people said, Enjoy the Game and not care about rewards. True that reward is the movtiation that drives players to play more.

I too speak for those players who unable to attend the event. What about those who wish to attend but unable to attend due to Timezone problem? How you going to compensate them? As i already stated, so long AN fixed up on all their coding for future events, will you think such issue will happened again? And everyone will be able to get their rewards for participating. If they didn’t fixed up, same thing happened again, you will make noise again! Right? See the long term, and not short term benefiting only to yourself and not to others.

Stop pressuring AN, they are trying their best to rectified it. I’m sad to see that there’s so many post that (players who DC)asking for LS event loots but there isn’t any post that speak up for those who can’t attend the event.

I’ve seen tons of people asking for events that repeat during the day. The problem is that if they want to do one time events, they’ll always do them when the most of the players can be online. Even if i don’t have problems with the timezone, i asked myself for instanced events, maybe not repeatable so that each account can do them only once.. so it;s a one time event but without lag etc.

Problem is that it’s way less epic, but if they make an istance for 10 people it can still be fun..

Anyway, about the reward they said it will be sent in the mail this week… i hope it will be the same as the original reward, but i doubt it. I hope at least to receive the 20 slot bag and the back.. the mail can only have 5 items so i doubt we will see 2 rares + 2 exotic + the back and the 20 slot bag.

Also, i hope that all this time was used to be 100% sure that this mail will not be sent to all the palyers, even those who already had the items.

After reading these posts, I’ve also begun farming this event chain, it’s actually pretty enjoyable now that I know how to do it solo (guild is small, and the map is usually devoid of other players).

I got an exotic each for my first two runs and blues after that, if that gives anyone confidence that the loot tables are not entirely screwed.

I’m a Necro, so it fits me perfectly.

That map is so empty, and most of the people don’t do those chain events since it’s useless.. i only see groups for Baltha.

If anyone wants to try farming the events, i’m on Seafarer’s rest.

Also, please devs… we still need some details about this staff.

Probably GMs don’t have access to the database to check if the item is in the game or if it’s bugged, but surely devs can. LinseyMurdock is part of the game design team, and i think it’s also her job to take care of the items and crafting in the game… so i’m sure she knows if the staff is in the game or not and if it’s working correctly…

Hope they’ll answer to this thread with some more details about the location of this large boss chest..

If they fix the excessive messaging thing it would be ok to me, but right now it’s VERY annoying… so change he chat system or put a Dungeon Finder. For GW2 it would be even easier since you don’t really need a particular class..

The event down there is really hard, in 2/3 people we couldn’t kill the champion ooze :0

An official update would be great, i hope they’re trying to find a way to avoid giving the same reward twice to those who already got it.

I also had big problems, mainly with the lag.. couldn’t even reach the karka’s lair without dying. i decided to rush ignoring the mobs, i reached the lair and the spiral road, went down but there were no mobs, no players, i was still alive but it felt like the game was crashing, it didn’t for several minutes… i thought that maybe relloging i would have been able to see everything, i logged back and i was dead with lots of mobs and dead players around me.. i tried to go back again, got disconnected. so i decided to wait a bit in the lion waypoint. I tried going back again a few times but always got killed because of lag, or disconnections..

Sadly i don’t think that repeating the event would change anything, we would still have lag, crash and people would get upset and complain even more.

BUT i think that all those who had problems with connections, crash, lag etc, all those who couldn’t be there should receive the same reward. Spawn an NPC like the one that gave the halloween item, and make sure it’s one per account and only for those who missed it, i don;t think it’s too hard and at least people would have the reward to remember the event

I don’t think they’ll give the reward only to those who got kicked at the end, it would be unfair to those who got disconnected way before, or those who couldn;t get near the place because of the lag… just give anyone who hasn;t already pened the chest the chance to get the reward, of course make it by account so that we don’t have people opening it more than once and getting many precursors.
