Yes i agree that there is a wvw population imbalance between servers but GoM is sucessful with stratagy because of the strong bonds between our servers community. As far as even Fights go Ele is right we dont que any BL during prime time 3 to 1 is not an even fight. If you cant deal with our stratagy thats not our problem and should be the problem of the 23 other servers. The problem here is you dont have any concept of tactics and stratagy.
Its just like any war. Just because you throw bodies into battle doesnt mean your going to win. Just look at Vietnam…

Sounds to me like the OP is on Sorrows Furnace server. I hate to break it to you but this is something called stratagy…..
Smaller servers have trouble winning against your massive blob zergs and outnumbering us 3 to 1. Therefore we use small man/gorilla tactics during the day and some of use adjusted our schedule/work 2nd shift to stay up and flip everything back.
Its just stratagy from a team that wants to win and has something to prove. Get on our level or get over it.

Hi Everyone,
Moneybagz from GoM Here. I was chatting with a couple of guildies last night and we thought it would be great to do a weekly video diary for NA bronze league. I want to make this as inclusive as possible so if anyone is interested please send me your favourite clips each week from your match up and I will do my best to include as many of them as possible into a weekly YouTube video.
I will be uploading clips of my own also, and I will take out all voice comms from the clips to ensure that tactics/names etc are removed. I think this is a great way to positively recap each match up each week.

Shorter base cooldowns by 2-4 secs to be balanced well with the mastery. Remove the 4 skill and replace it with a block skill like engi and warrior. Guard is the only class that can use a shield that doesnt have a block. Combine 4 and 5 skill together. Done.
And get rid of the only on-demand Protection weapon skill in the game? No, thank you. I prefer 5s party Protection than a channeling 3s blocks. We have a shelter for that. And hello, #5 blocks.
Might want to read the whole post before replying. Give the bubble protection so its not going anywhere + the shield only blocks projectiles not melee hits. Shield is totally unviable in WvW or PvP even with 100% boon duration the cooldowns dont make it worth it. The block will atleast give it some viability without having to waste your heal skill for the blocks.

0/0/10/30/30 with sentinels ascended armor, PVT trinkets, applied fortitude and vitality infusions gets you to almost 27k hp with 3200 armor (150 from SIN) if your using Hammer + hold the line your good for protection too. Burst isnt an issue your party shold compensate for this with water fields since this is a party build.

Stability. There’s your CC immunity.
Stability does not clear imobilize or fear if i remember correctly. Stacking that up with other conditions makes it almost impossible to clear. Im down for a 1.5 or 2 sec imunity after cleansing conditions, however it might be smarter to limit it to certain ones such as imobilize, chill and fear. That way you are not nerfing the conditions that damage but reducing the perma lock down that plagues big WvW group play.

Yeah our whole WvW Crew is experiencing the same issue right now. Cant PvP with 3 sec skill lag…

Try this. Tanky with great condi removal but still has damage. Crit chance comes from food and sigil on top of the base 25%

I would say probably only for a pure support guardian, but its not terribly viable in WvW unless you only group play and even then….

All valid points. Thanks for the feedback. I dont know that ill run more than two shouts. Purging flames condi removal + fire field is too valuable for solo and group play.

Whit your build I see only 23% critical rate and you’re not able to obtain fury.
I agree whit Ludus.
There’s only 2 class that can’t obtain passive speed buff: Guardian and Engi. But engi can obtain permanente swiftness.Whit more speed you can escape from your enemy or follow your group easy.

Correct. Food and sigil bring it up to 37%. The idea was to be tanky but put out some spike damage with the high crit dmg.

Hi guys,
I’m redesigning my WvW build and I cannot decide what runes to use. I currently use melandru but I cannot decide if it is worth it vs hard condition removal. Here is the build I currently have::
I have a few target numbers that I would like to get too ( or at least close too ) if possible:
Attack: 2900
Armor: 3400
HP: 20,000
40% Crit Chance
80% Crit Damage
Just having difficulty deciding on which runes to go with, also if there is a better way of optimizing the gear to reach those numbers.

Hi,
I’m Lucente, I play a Norn Guardian and have been playing Guildwars since GW1 Factions launched. I’m pretty experienced as far as Guildwars knowledge goes but my playtime is limited due to work. I’m looking to join a new guild/server that is medium to large sized. Dungeon and WvW oriented, has a great atmosphere and players that are willing to help each other out rather than for personal gain. Mace is probably my number 1 weapon at end game. The amount of protection and healing that it provides to your team is great. I combine it with a shield and healing power / toughness stats to give great sustain in dungeons and more inate tankiness. Highly recommend.
