We? Who’s we? A lot of Gandarans care about points and rankings. Sure, if you just go by this matchup thread, you’d be forgiven for thinking that we’re all about the fights, and fun fights are nice, but they are incidental to the main purpose of the game: scoring points.

A recent horrible matchup for me was Underworld/Rof. Guild groups maybe had a good time but the rest of us did not.

I was talking about most of our guilds and people active on matchup forums.. ofc we care abit about points but we rather have good fights and there will almost be people who only go for points.

But the larger scale of gandara dont.

So do 4 leagues in NA. This eliminates the enormous population difference from server 1 to server 12 and 13 to 24.

If you really think the server that is ranked 12th at the start of this stands any chance against the top servers you are delusional.

We will continue to look into ways to change scoring to try and even out some of the population based imbalances, but that is not an easy task and it won’t happen during the season.

So can it be fixed BEFORE season? or do we have to play unbalanced for the entire first season?

I’ve consistently said we are doing 2 leagues in NA and 3 in EU. The leagues will be broken up strictly by world rating at the conclusion of the matchup prior to the league start.

In NA you will have the 12th ranked server vs T1 coverage.

How does one go for points without fighting the people defending the points? You’re not going to win by just bunkering in Hills 24/7.

Then you havent played against high ranked servers.. they nightcap and stay in your towers with upgrades and stupid amount of siege and avoid fights until they are 3-1.

And yes bunker keep and towers and you win.

No need to zoomhack to see the arrow carts on the wall : there’s a little elevation in front of the door. I go there. And there, you can see the top of the arrow cart. Press “CTRL” to see where they are, target, and then go at the door, and use dragon tooth from the scepter to depop the siege engine.

And if you can’t see the machine, target the man, It works too.

Its wasnt at the gate or on the wall and not even AC but a ballista around lord stairs.

As I mentioned before, there are a few things that MIGHT be affecting your ability to complete these achievements:

• Killing Molten Alliance or pirates does not count towards event credit.
• Killing spawns from the Clockwork part piles does not count towards event credit.

The best bet for getting event completion is going to be taking down the Clockwork champions. They are directly tied to event completion.

Please keep providing details when you fail to receive completion.

I’m currently at 11/13 and I only have sparkfly left.. I did all other events, stayed for the entire duration and did everything right…

The last week I’ve been getting more network errors and kicked off the game, but the last 2 days its almost on every single TP I do.. Can’t go anywhere without getting network errors..

I can’t loigin after the dc aswell.. takes about 5-15 mins for it to work again (no my internet is not the problem since im still browsing, using skype etc and my DL/up speed dosent change)

I don’t know your guild. What lack of teamwork are you talking about? Guilds do a lot of inter-guild working, often front a zerg and tag up when the going gets tough, etc etc.

Everything you’re mentioning is entirely in your hands to change/improve.

Yeah I do have tag but my computer cannot handle larger scale battles so I stay away from tagging during prime and doing it late night if needed during defence.

Its not really the guild teamwork (our guilds can have amazing teamwork) but the server as one, we are scattered even when commanders are on the map.. we dont follow or listen anymore.. (its not about solo roamers I can be one of them aswell)

My guild is only a few irls but we try to do our best in defence and mini missions around borderlands and eternal.

I know theres alot I can do myself and I have been trying… last 3 weeks I had a bad sleeping schedule and been defending our keeps from 1am to 6am almost every night and trying to help commanders like Redball and others.

Maybe I’m just frustrated after a week with Jade sea and Elona and some others aswell..

But asap when new patch comes out we lose all keeps and its a massive amount of champion bags so I guess there will be none wvw from gandara..

I’m positive that most of the steady WvW guilds on Gandara really don’t care about points/placement anymore. Why would we want to raise ranks when all it means is we get to fight the German blobs more frequently?

Also, keep in mind that Gandara is a heavy PVE server. The Crown Pavilion and the Ember farm are stupidly lucrative right now and won’t always be there, leading to a population drop.

I can’t imagine how that would be…I hope we wont face em soon………..Tho, I can imagine 60 omega golem rushes, since our dear friends from AG showed that to us. Also being golem rushed everyday is like part of UW guilds daily routine, so it gets boring and makes lots of ppl sick.

10:30 – get dressed and prepare breakfast
11:00 – get online with cup of coffee
11:05 – move to the BL
11:06 – gather people since outnumbered
11:10 – take back N towers with 5 ppl.
11:20 – try take back garrison with 5-10
11:32 – kill the 5-10 golems
11:35 – get some dollies to garrison by flipping camps
11:50 – gather some more ppl and attack hills —>10 ppl
12:05 – gather some more ppl and attack bay --> 10 ppl
12:20 – take the supply camps and get dolyaks to hills and bay
12:50 – take Lake and briar
13:15 – get stuff upgraded
13:20 – run towards lake or briar, to defend against inc people.
14:45 – scream for ppl on guild chat and team chat because the next golem rush happends again.
14:46—> .. : .. pray to keep it.

That has been our schedule vs AG, FR, FSP, GH and also now Gandara.
