ok, first they are fighting becouse there is no our players online so they dont have what to do, but, whan started we had first ar, after them au on our camp, 1 from 1 side, second form second side, strange… idk where are u from but i am telling u if 2 servers are from my countru, we will first take all map than fight betwen us for fun.
No doubt we will see some teaming up between the two French teams. It’s human nature to be tribalistic like that, however it’s also the nature of MMO players to attack anything that has a red name tag too, so we’ll see what happens.
I think whatever happens we shouldn’t start generalising about the members of the other servers because literally thousands of people are involved in WvW.
and ya hack: well if i have 5 sec delay it is resonabe i cant see thiefs whan shooting with arrows on me, but strange thing is how i with exotic gear lvl 80 thief get 1 hited by enginer (27k hit), warrior can do hard demage but even he cant do that with full buffs, 18k hit from thief, 23k hit from sorsarer, aoe hit 22k… and on and on…. and i am not someone who dont know to play his class, is there ranking with wvw kills? id like to see where i am on that rank
If he’s a max power with a certain build he can use elixir and grenade barrage for massive damage, especially if you’re a glass cannon.

Desolation player here. I haven’t seen any evidence that the French are ganging up on us, in fact it’s looks as if Arberstone [FR] are beating Augury Rock [FR] just as much as they are us. Maybe we’ll see that behaviour as the week moves on by as of 5AM GMT there’s been little or no cooperation between the two French servers.
Also it’s not hacks it’s just that ArenaNet have designed the game in such a way that makes half of WvW invisible. It’s ridiculously broken and in dire need of a solution.
Were Currently play vs 2 French Servers Arborstone and Augury Rock, its been an hour since reset and Arborstone have taken over nearly the whole map, this night capping kitten is ridiculous
you must be a desolation guy, funny thing is the only thing you had for you last week was nightcapping, this week you ll have trouble to do even that, smell like demotion for you guys again

For every man we have on they have 2 or 3 so we stand little chance, but in fairness they are using a lot of strategy and organisation to win, and it’s not exactly their fault they outnumber us. Here’s to looking forward to the rest of the week and hoping it’ll balance out a little more because that’s a lot more fun for everyone.

Beast/Arena Room:
I think OPs point about manning up is moot as it’s practically impossible to win in this area regardless of the number of people, the amount of siege, and the skill of the players. Well, if you are playing competent opponents at least.
It’s true that siege is often vulnerable to long range abilities, and it’s also true that all the classes have skills that can be used to great advantage here, for example if you have a mesmer you can do well by chaining portals and pulling enemies who venture to close to the edge. It isn’t always possible to do this however, especially as there are many siege spots that are much harder or impossible to hit. This is not something you can counter which is why I think it’s bad design. It’s possible to purge things like cripple, but it is not possible to remove the combat slow, and that’s something that becomes a major issue when there’s several arrow carts firing from a good position.
I know that with a few well placed ballista and a couple of arrow carts that I can completely shut down this area. You could have 100 players, all the supply in Tyria, and mad skills, but you’d still inevitably fail.

What I did was transfer to a winning server and finish the missing PoIs and Vistas. I know it’s cheesy, but it worked! If the free transfers are still going it could be worth you doing the same.
There already is. You just have to press F.
If it bothers you so much, just make an AHK Script to spam the F Key on a button press.
I actually would do this if the loot key wasn’t also the action key for everything else in the game. It’s already bad enough running around in WvW spamming my action key for loot bags and ended up inadvertently finishing downed enemies, manning siege, and resurrecting allies.
It would be great if this was an option for us when out of combat. Engineers could surely make use if it too. Taking the idea to its logical conclusions I also no reason why all classes shouldn’t be able to do something similar with armour sets and trait builds. It’s an improvement that would no doubt create a smoother and less frustrating gaming experience for all.
I agree in so much that we should have more WvW titles and access to more cosmetic alternatives, but not in regards to stat bonus.
It’s okay if you guys feel the need to team up on us. It’s common knowledge that desolation players are on average as good as two, or even three Gunnar’s Hold/Augury Rock players, so at least this way we we’re getting a fair fight.

Yeah I find myself in a similar position to you OP. Of course there’s always things like commander and legendaries but frankly those things are so expensive and I simply don’t have the time or motivation to grind for them. I guess I’ll just stock up on all the various dyes and buy golems for WvW.

Sorry but got to disagree with this. I’ve done over 60 dungeon runs all with random people and I have not failed a single one (and that’s not just CoF-2 runs either, although a lot of it was). You get something like 26s or whatever it is per run, and then you get all that other loot too. Even if you wipe a dozen or so times you’ll still come out in profit, but chances are you won’t wipe at all given that they’re not at all challenging once the mechanics are known.
Yeah it’s excessive. They did it in GuildWars 1 as well and it annoyed a lot of people. It wouldn’t be so bad if they had enough slots for every class. I just wished they’d gone with cosmetic only microtransactions (or none at all).

There are talents that allow people to teleport. Could that have been what it was?
I really doubt it. We’re talking anything from a standard 1200 teleport up to something over 5000 range, and that’s only the ones I could see due the limitations on view distance. They were also playing the same class as me (elementalist) so I am acutely aware of all the skills they have access to and the corresponding cooldowns.
Know your game and mechanics before you report someone.

Saw a player doing this just now. At first I thought it was network lag but after a more careful observation this did not appear to be the case. I reported them for botting as there’s no exploit option in the drop down menu nor can you attach a note.
Wish I could provide more information.
