We have been trying to tell this to SF for a long time now, and our reward was to have what we said met with snark, attacks, rage and hate, and.. well. lets just say they did not take it well at all, which is why, 9 weeks later, they are still here, they are still stalling, and T7 is laughing at them.

Maybe they will listen to you, when they would not listen to us.

Not going to go into an argument, meaning I will neither continue a discussion on the topic, nor will I acknowledge a response. This horse has been kicked enough.

My 2 cents to the average ET response, being both arrogant and condescending.

My point is ET isn’t any better.

ET isn’t any more decent on the forums than SF. I’ve seen players from both servers act like kitten. Your post shall be the example. If you try to deny it, answer this question to yourself. What was the point of the response? The only answer is a jab at SF.

The average ET isn’t any better on the field than a SF. Of course, this being from personal experience. Just look at the 50 man zerg that’s been running about. Looks like SF from last week. Messy and disorganized, and trust me, I know what both those are.(I’m from SF)

If anything, FC outshines us both in average skill and, heck, even forum behavior as well. Just look at them after observing VK. I’m seeing them begin to move like VK, even when no VK are present. I’m not saying ET is worse than SF, but it’s about time to hop down from that high horse, and do as SF is trying to do. Improve.

As someone from ET, I wholeheartedly agree. I use to command all the time, but after a lot of our players started to go into mindless zerg mode, I got so frustrated, I just didn’t tag up anymore. The only way I tag up anymore is when I run a guild group going. The mindset needs to change, I am sick of the whole " we are better just because we are outnumbered". We need to start getting organized ourselves and train all our people. As for the forums, I got tired of the match up forums, it degenerated to near troll wars 2 from all sides instead of anything constructive

Fun time running around with VK on EB. Learned a lot too.

Zergball + combo fields + taking advantage of both together simultaneously….Great tactic if you can maintain the ball and coordinate….

Nothing new to us (other than the machine like execution of VZ), many of us have saw the Youtube vids, or saw it on other tiers, VZ does it extremely well.

WZ (on FC) had been experimenting with it for weeks, their problem (that I saw) was they were trying it in open field situations, it seemingly works much better in a closed/controlled environment like VZ had last night in Jerris.

Haven’t faced this enough to know for sure, but my theory is that if you break the ball you break the group. Focus mesmer pulls, mass fears, (yeah I know 3-4 guardians/warriors could counter with stab., but there are counters to everything) separate those people(s) from combo fields and each other and thin the herd so to speak.

That is what we did last night, a few of us went and dropped CC’s and AOE on them in the tower to force their squishier ones out, and control when they were leaving rather than have them sit and dictate when they moved.

Seemed to work much better, and again have no idea the best way to attack this, but I feel as though we will have MUCH fun figuring it out lol

might be out of place here, but those of you that just saw VK join t8 and are already announcing they are the best thing since sliced bread. I’m going to have to say, from fighting Yarr for a long time now, I do think they’re the best small group out there… at least until I see otherwise.

Yarr is definitely skilled. I have a lot of fun targeting them, but they are completely different than VK. Yarr is best is small fights. 5v5 and under in my opinion. Exceptional at 1v1. Yarr aren’t really all that special when it is 20v20. Another face in a crowd.

Big shoutout to Yarr. Some good doobies in that bunch. Spent a couple hours dueling with them before last reset. They cleaned my clock good until the scotch started kickin in. Good times were had by all.

I think this is spot on. I have to much respect(fear?) for yarr that I generally run away if I am solo or with a couple others but they don’t have the numbers to be a real threat.

Also shout out to TAC had some really great fights against you guys. TAC v VK 10v10 would be cool to see vids of. I think TAC is a little outmatched so maybe 10v20 at a tower would be fun for you guys if you can find a time when our mindless SF Zerg is not slamming it’s forehead against anything breakable.

I think TAC was the most coordinated guild in T8 b4 VK came. I have not seen any voice comms on SF that come close to being called coordinated, and so far we haven’t needed it.

Again, welcome to T8 VK, I hope we still make it to T8 soon while picking up a few tricks from you guys and having some good fights

It’s flattering that you guys have some respect for our folks. But man, we have a long, long, way to go. I don’t think we are near worthy of that title. On occassions were we do have things flowing its a blast! We keep learning all the time.

I think some organized GVG would be hot stuff. Lets get that going!

Yep, as one of the commanders for TAC, we defiantly do need improvement. Not everybody is in Voice chat like I’d want it and we really need to train the people new to WvW.

If nobody knows who I am, I’m Mclovin from TAC who use to command all the time. After the new patch, there is a feeling of confusion going on and that will probably lead to drama. I’ve also felt that we’ve been getting sloppy in our performance as of lately. It’s been getting so frustrating that it’s about to pull me out of retirement. So I am pretty much demanding that we all send representatives that can be mature and leave any drama out the door and talk over voice if possible. A round table if you will

I think, you’re misunderstanding what I mean by “SF whining”. What I mean is the whining from all 3 servers about the whole Tier 8 situation and not just targeting SF players. Also, all this footage is from reset nights, the main focus of these videos is TAC and not ET as a server, and we cant always just throw up a guild zerg on a whim during the week.

A long but pretty good battle in SF Bl of us defending Bluebriar. Eventually, we were able to wipe a larger force, where then we got another guild to back us up and toke over the majority of their BL

I found the 3rd to be the mystic forge crystals

Earlier today, I was forging a mystic weapon and I noticed that my guild armor would synergize with mystic coins. I carry a full set of exotics in my bag and none of the others would show as possible matches. After I searched on google, nothing would come up for recipes, does anybody know what it creates?

All I see in those photos is 3 under leveled players and a lvl 80 probably in all masterwork which should be no problem for any mesmer or thief with full exotics too handle. Plus you’re standing very close to your tower so you had the safety of the NPC gaurds and just run into the tower for safety. I’m not really seeing any point.

Stupid Fraps not working when you want to, I tried recording that whole battle at SF Bay when SF started to attack bay, that was pretty hectic fighting
PS, gotta give props to that LH guild for trying to cut off all sides of bay to prevent reinforcements

I remeber last fall when the clock went back an hour, the resets were also changed from (using EST) 8 PM and started at 7 PM afterwards. It causes some confusion in players, so any clarification?

My life is now complete, I was finally able to drag a SF zerg to the grub and have the mighty one take out the zerg.

As am member of TAC, we don’t condemn any members that use the glitch, I was tthere during it and some of our players just saw the portal and use it, I don’t think they were aware of it. If there was a member of TAC that initiated the portal glitch, PM me with pics of the mesmer. As for some of the mesmers that do the wall jump glitch, I’ve been telling most guild leaders to tell their members if they see anybody doing the glitch to report them.

What is the deal with these super long Ques for WvW on Kaineng? I can see maybe a 15-20 minutes but over an hour? The forces that can actually get in are outnumbered because over half of our forces are tied up in the Ques waiting. I have been one of those. Now that we have a good matchup I WANT to WvW again but can not get in.

Some Eredon Terrace guy here, from reading of all the mass exodus that have happened lately, it sound like SBI and IoJ are in the same drop of tiers as we faced. So what do people suspect how the bottom tiers look once everything settles?

Why don’t you guys try to prove yourself and join the bottom server Eredon Terrace instead of being like the rest who join a server in a lower tier that is winning.

So you transferred to a server that is winning a lobbed sided match this week to learn how to play to help a create an even more lobbed sided match next week with the same servers facing off? If you really wanted to learn something, you should have transferred to a losing server that is out manned half the time.

From ET to HoD, I want to ask you guys around what match did you guys start getting things together. For us it was During FA and YB when we finally had our BL secured for the first time. I also want to ask what was your favorite time you wiped a zerg outnumbered, a lot of these lower tiers seem to be easy to portal bomb and we wiped a zerg twice our size once by bombing their rear

Some random guy from ET here, I can’t comment on Devona’s Rest but I have to feel more inclined with HoD as they are like our brothers to me. I also do know from my old guild that transferred to DR from ET and talking to them how DR kinda sounds like. Congrats on breaking out of Tier 8 but take HoD’s warnings seriously. From what I’ve seen a RL friend play on DR, it sounds like you guys got mass transfers but some are thinking like they’re hotshots (not all). During Hod vs ET vs SF, some got a little kitteny in SF for zerging us out of the maps, but from what I hear, they got a good tearing (no offense) the next match. Definitely don’t underestimate HoD, our servers do better during the week when all the weekend warriors go away and the enemy zergs die out. For all you know, they might take all of EB like they did to GoM.

I swear if our PUG’s didn’t abandon the rear while we were taking Stonemist and left us to get flanked, ET would have had Stonemist. I was livid at some of the kittenation of our PUG’s after they get wiped.

We basically learned to suck less. We had moments where 4 of us can hold out against 15 and still wipe 10 of them near their spawn
