Well from the first post you didnt mention on what res, settings your playing sooo…

Atm i have i7-3770 – 4ghz, 16 gb 1866 ram, ssd disk and a clocker hd7850 (1000 core ,1250 memo).

I cant realy see how is he able to play all the wvw and events at an stable 40+ fps rate.
I play on 1920×1200 full hd and maxed settings ( only shadows med and reflection off in wvw cuz of that bug with lowering fps when you turn around) and there are times i droped to around 20 fps in thoes HUGE wvw battles. I just dont belive you will get stable 60+ fps in all the crowded areas followed with 40+ on events and wvw when even ppl with gtx670, hd7950 and cpus oced to 4,6+ drop to 20-30 range somtimes. We are speaking about full hd and max or almost max settings here.

Ditto for me.

Hardware’s fine, Windows 7 x64, latest drivers for everything. Game’s run fine since the first beta weekend, but about three weeks ago, I’ve started to get intermittent crashes.

At some random point after a few minutes to hours of playing the game will freeze with one or more looping sounds (seemingly more often while accessing either the map or the inventory).

Same problem as this user and its from few patches ago as well ( had this prob at start then after a patch i was fixed and from few patches ago its here again)
Sometimes the game will pop up an error report dialog. Other times it requires me to alt-tab and use the task manager to close things down.

Either way, not fun.

Thx. Btw its a fix for memory crash for 32 bit system users if anyone wonder what it does it gives more memmory to programs (3gb instead of max 2 on 32 bit)

Dont bother with rmaing the card its all ok. hd7000 series have alot of problems with gw2. Mine hd7850 (sapphire) gives me blueish,white artifacts (fast flashing ones like yours) from the launch. They appear more or less depends on the drivers, patch version but were never gone for good. There is alot of posts from ppl with diff hd7000 cards having the same problems in few games (most games and benchamrks run fine).

It seems amd have problem with some dx9 games. I can run borderlands2, new ufo. bf3,a couple of benchamrks like furmark,haven etc for hours with no problems.

Ah btw shadows and reflections are kinda buged atm ( there is even post about it) if you set thoes on high/all and move, rotate the cammera the fps will go down hard. And going from 60-70 to 40 is normal on that card. I have mine oced to 1000 core and i still dip down to 30 fps in some heavy events (rest of my cpu is core i7-3770 -4ghz , 16gb 1866 ram, and a ssd disk). The card wont be able to run the game on max settings without the fps drops when even the more powerfull cards cant. Just wait for better optymalization. Btw i found some “buged” areas where your fps will dip down to 6-7 fps with no reason :P

Bump. I ran a couple of ram tests (memtest86+ again and hci memtest), intel burn in, furmark burn bernchamrks and burn in test and my cpu is 100% stable i didnt get any problems, freezes etc. Played borderlands 2 on max settings for few h without a prob as well(and it heats my cpu eats more graphic then gw2 . . .). I still get random freezes even that rare bound by any scenario. Yesterday it worked all fine at the event when it was rly graphic intense ( my gpu went to 70c when its usualy max 64-65 in gw2) fps went down to 30 range few times but everything was fine, no crashes,freezes for over 4-5 h of gameplay full of ports,crafting,events and gibbering mobs. Today i got a freez in an almost population free area where my gpu usage was rather low and my card didnt even heat up to thoes 64C. Its 100% problem with guild wars so it would be nice to get a soultion for a fix.

Btw i didnt ask but do you have freezes on teleport as well ? Or just while you fight, move etc?

Well we dont have crashes. Game just randomly freezes (cant isolate it to 10 minutes or 5h sometimes) we dont get any error massage as well. Just freez and need to reset.

Well i had the freez issue almost from start but it was realy rare and i think it was driver/patch realated as well. If i had to count i had around 10-15 crashes in like 250+ h of game play(thoes were same as this ctrl+alt+del friendly:) ). And i only switched ram from then. I think its some kind of amd driver not liking guild wars 2 issue. For some ppl it happens more for other less and that depends on the patch.

Guild wars 2 randomly freezes from time to time (i think it started to freez more after the recent patch)

It dosent matter if its a loading screen or smtn else. Its totaly random. Sometimes it freezes while i fight mobs or when i fast travel.

Sound is playing but the screen freezes and stop responding.
I dont need to hard reset i can exit the game with ctrl+alt+del and just shut it down from there.

I thought it might be ram problem but i had 2 diff sets of ram ( 8gb before and now 16gb new set) and it was freezing on both.

I get no error thing and there is nothing beside an aplication stoped working massage in windows event viewer.
Im not sure but i think the game didnt freez as much before the last patch but im not playing much recently so im not sure.

My rig

i7-3770 -(turbo changed to 40 so its 4ghz)
16gb 1800mhz 9-9-9-27 ram -(thoes are 1866 sticks but i cant get em to work without errors on 1866. 8gb 1866 is fine but 16gb get probs and 1800 is fast enough)
hd7850- oc sapphire ( this one have thoes blue arifacts but only in guild wars 2 and its a driver issue ): ).
asus z77m -pro motherboard
128 gb ssd ocz agility
560 psu be quiet !
Windows 7 64bit

The card oc is 1000 mhz on core 1250 on memory. I tried underclocking but it dosent make a diff. Its not a temp issue as well cuz the max i saw after few h of intense wvw was 72C and it was rly hot in my room then. Usualy its around 64 max ( and thoes card with stock fans usualy go above 75).

As far as i renember i dont have any other game act like this (freez) so far. Played borderlands 2, new ufo, black messa etc.

Mem test 12 h + gave no errors, all benchmarks like haven etc are ok, prime95 10h gave no errors.

Well i hope they remove the gold thoes guys got by that “bug” otherwise the economy isa s good as dead. Some ppl still have their expoilted stuff left http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/mmo/guild-wars-2/gw2-exploits/ as you can read on thoes forums ( its stricly for gw2 exploits someone from anet should monitore it) alot of ppl still have their cheated gold with them ;/

The worst thing is that it affects mobs models as well. So in high populated events like in orr it takes 1-2 s for mobs that you didnt see (turned back on them) to load and they die in thoes 1-2 s …. they should seriously add a higher limit for model loading. Ssd and ram is cheap as hell now so i dont see a proble mwith letting the game get 100+ models loaded at the same time ):

As i can see from other posts its their fault. Well i dont have such massive lags as you but for me its a prob when mobs dont load for 1-2 s after i turn around. Its not more then 4-5 s to load stuff mostly for me but then again it was 0 delay before.I belive you dont even notice this in pve cuz it only happens in orr mostly or other high populated ( alot of models to load it seems) areas and it might be thoes 2 s for mobs to appear are normal for you :P. No real fix for this now untill they fix it on their side(approved problem).

Well i have the same problem with mobs on events ( if i dont face in the exact spawn point direction it takes usualy 1-2 s to load the mobs even when some ppl already hit em). It seems its some kind of problem on their side( servers wont send data so fast or so ?) i got this from last patch and i cant rly belive 16gb of ram,ssd disk and oced (stable) hd7850 + 4.2 ghz i7 cant load objects fast when my fps never drops lower then 40.

Bump. Anyone have this as well ? Im not sure if i should try to mess with my cpu, get more lag etc but considering im getting this from the last patch ( it was rly rare for mobs not to load instantly before) i think its on the server side. I even oced my cpu to 4.3 ghz but i didnt change anything beside adding 2-3 extra fps which was not a prob to being with.

From time to time ( i think from the last patch) i have the problem that mobs on events in orr for example load half way or load slower. I know they are there and other ppl tend to hit them before i can even see them. Its not only me that have the same prob.

I have an:
i7-3770
Hd7850 sapphire oc
Sdd agility 4 (system +guild wars on it)
4gb of ram (1 4gb stick died and ill have it back )’
P8 z77 m motherboard.

My fps wont drop lower then 40 on thoes events + on wvw i dont have problems with loading 100+ ppl so why there is a problem with loading 20 + on events s ? ( seems ppl tend to disappear somtimes as well and when i move my camera around they are on again.) Im not sure if that was the problem before but i think it strarted recently.

My current 4gb ram is fine tested with memtest for over 12h+ same with cpu and gpu.
I think i should see mobs instantly with this setup where there is not even 30 ppl around. Somtimes i see them spawn correctly when im looking in the direction of spawn from some locations.
