Somnium showed yesterday evening how lame those french are, we had organised groups on shiverpeaks borderlands and facerolled the baguettes until people went to bed at around 2am CET, because they have a life. Then the french started taking everything. Not a fan of limiting wvw, but it´s kinda game breaking if you face cowards that cap all your keeps etc without or with almost noone defending.

You see Mescaline what I’m talking about. Be sure we have the same kind of person on our side.

Do you think we can have mature discussion with that?

A balance is something fair for everyone, here you’re only penalizing night-time players (be it because they’re from space, they’re not working/going to school, or because that’s the only moment when they can play). It’s not ANet/the winning server fault if your night-time players don’t do WvW.

You’re exactly the same type of people back in the WoW days who were complaining about the advantage that HC players had over the casual ones about gear accessibility, this resulting in a flawed and flavorless PvE system with little difference between someone who dedicate every evening to raiding and someone who play less than 5 hours during the whole week.

Stop being selfish please.

I do not want to stop people from playing at night .
I want to balance night capping to not give this HUGE advantage to people having zero opponents in a supposed to be RvR zone .
Back in the WoW days …. i never play’d that game , i alwayd tried to avoid games rewarding the amount of time you play instead of your personal skill but for post-WoW generation this is hard to understand.
Anyway i’d like a balanced system allowing you to play at night and every other server to not get a huge disavantage , not whining , having zero interest on winning , just pretending to have things balanced to let everyone enjoy the game .

Seeing the sea, not a river, you cried since some weeks, only trolls can make you react. We all have seen mature discussion was impossible. Even if we try as hard as we can to explain facts you’re (I mean all QQers) still whining about same things once and again (night cappers, canadians polemic…), day after day, week after week. You all will only be happy the day when A.net will close WvWvW during night time GMT or make it totally useless to play on, something that’ll never happen.

So, what can we say but trolls to blinders? Prove you can understand each side and we wil be able to have a mature discussion like you ask.

Like i haven’t tried to have a discussion with you guys .

I’m just pointing out what , in my eyes, is a game breaking problem ( never said one single word about canadians , i do believe in you when you say you are all frenchs)
You don’t agree with me , i am cool with this , but try to explain me why without fooling yourself talking about skills or WvW superior tactics .
Also i do not care if you have canadians or not , is not the problem for me , the problem is night capping giving HUGE advantage and unbalancing the game .
If this is intended as Anet said , i’d just stick on sPvP since it is the game mode i like more .

I think The Sims or Wii Sports should fit you better. Why should people stop playing when you go to bed ?

Plus it’s not like there is anything big to win in WvW, being 1st/2nd/3rd doesn’t bring anything except small PvE boost, which are nearly useless for the WvW player who invest time in WvW objectives. And even with your suggestions, the servers currently winning will buy the immunity, and if you’re not able to take back objectives during day-time now you won’t be able to de it after, nothing will change.

A 24/7 war is not a daily-5-hours-long-battleground, it’s time for people to understand that. Whining all day long only makes your server look bad.

I guess understanding what people says is not in your priorities.

We’d just like to play a balanced WvW .
Is this gonna happen ? Probably not .
Do we have to agree with you that night capping is cool and skillfull ? Just no .
And don’t fool yourself talking about the sims or wii because i come from games like starcraft and dota where is , almost , all about skill .
I already have people in my guild talking about quitting the game to play planetside 2 , people that played DaoC for years and was looking for a good RvR game since then .

I’d also remove jumping puzzle from WvW zone . Makes zero sense for me , just keeps spots from people that would like to join WvW to help .

So instead of asking Anet to fix it, maybe you could try to fix it yourself. Take a shot of server population too right now. See, you arent alone. So gather all the whiners from FS on this forum, together you can make a group, even a squad imo.

As for you Kirn, we called what you did nightcapping, cause your mates say that is what we do in chain.

Sure you guys are great in WvW , just the gap between servers done with your night pveing is not showing the truth ( IMO ), and since i’d like to play an RvR game that shows tactic skills can i possible do not like this system that allows you to pve my doors during night time ?

Ok guys we are all pveing at 5 am , we are not sleeping , we are not that normal to sleep during night time , we are just pvers .
Seriously is impossible to discuss about a game problem , is not you guys , i don’t blame your night pve vs gates , is allowed so is ok , i blame the fact that you can do it , and by you i dont mean you frenchs , i mean everyone including me and i just don’t like it .
Now you can come here saying you are all WvW dedicated players and i’m ok with that , but in nightcapping there’s no skill or organization involved .
War is not fair for sure , but in war you have opponents at least .

Me and every single person i know with a job go to sleep around 01:00 , 02:00 am .
What’s your suggestion ?
Must i quit my job to play vs you guys at 4 am ? Sure .
And lol at hiding behind people i don’t even know and as commander never said one single word in Team/map chat when people from different guilds try to coordinate the zerg .
You seriously have no clue on what’s happening on FS .
You guys have all the rights to pve vs gates to win , is allowed by the game , so congrats once again .

Who cares if they are canadians or not ? The problem is still that they are winning because they pve vs gates , but is working as intended according to Anet so we must accept it or move to another game .

So we can all agree there is no point in arguing anymore , the game allows to pve vs doors to win and we all must accept it .
Maybe in future arenanet will try to balance it , let’s wait and see .

The map is so bad designed , mostly due to sharks , that i just avoid ruins .

If you ask me i’m for removing it from WvW zone , it just keeps spots from people who would join to help in WvW .

He said “we have alot of nolifers playing during night but not canadians” and i trust him .
Anyway uni students and nolifers are in everycountry , you have more then others , and i don’t blame you for this .
My point is that you guys are just pveing vs doors to win in WvW since during daytime the match is pretty even with FS leading a bit .
And once again i accept this situation since the game allows it , i just don’t like it .

Dude i don’t blame french canadians , i don’t blame queues , i really think you guys are all frenchs with the same queues problems we have on FS due the bandwagon ( on both servers ).

I accept this situation and the fact that most of you don’t have a job or a life so they can play 24/7 , but please don’t turn this in “we have WvW guilds , we are WvW dedicated players” when during the whole week you were 10k points behind , you are just pveing empty keeps doors .

Honestly after playing the whole weekend in WvW i have to say that being so far behind in points because you guys cap everything during night pveing vs keeps doors , when we had lead in points for the whole weekend changed my mind about you french people .
Sure organized and WvW dedicated but nothing special .
Without the night overcapping you’d be behind FS in points and that would be the right thing since we pretty much won during the whole weekend , but you know war is not fair so i guess we have to accept it .

Honestly as a far shiverpeaks player i don’t known if they have canadians or not but i don’t mind.
I can clearly see the lack of “good” communication the main problem of my server .
I’m the leader of a small 20men guild , mostly 25+ , focused on every aspect of the game but mostly on WvW .
Every single time i join a WvW map there is rage and swearing in team chat , people claiming themself as the leader of some kind of alliance calling others in bad ways , acting in a very immature way , giving stupid orders like attacking the “already in bad position” server ( desolation , riverside ) while frenchs conquer everything .
They are waaaaay more and better organized then us .
Not going to flame or argue with people on my server but instead of crying we should try to work together to get rid off our problems , also commanders / WvW leaders acting in a positive , constructive and mature way is one thing we sure lack of .

Maybe when we’ll have private servers admins could remove it from options .
Like hardcore and normal servers on FPS games.
The problem still remains in tPvP anyway .

Then you should not go 2 vs 1. No class should be able to kill 2 others by themselves without help. Yeah. It is annoying if you got him downed and can’t kill him because some other guy is around. But that’s how it works.

Sorry but i completely disagree .
Not saying i should go 1 vs 2 but what about if i’m defending a point , 2 enemies come and i’m able to down one of em ?
I clearly played better so , imo , i should be rewarded instead of being punished.

I don’t know if this was already discussed , but i would really like to have an option to save my character builds, both for pvp and pve .
In sPvP i use a totally different build from tPvP , same goes for PvE ( specially dungeons) and WvW , and changing my traits everytime is becoming boring .
What do you guys think about it ? Was this already discussed by Anet devs?

Just answering to people asking “why don’t you get objectives back as soon as you wake up then??1!!1!”
Since they cap everything during night time without opponents , they can easly upgrade objectives to make more difficult to take it back .
Anyway they also look more organized then us .

Hopefully Raid on the Capricorn will stay out of tPvP rotation forever.
Sharks are a really bad mechanic and should be completely removed imo .
