So some of my friends are on a different server, and sometimes I want to play with them. But I don’t want to switch servers, wait a week and switch back. I know for overflows there is an option to join another person on another server, but that option doesn’t appear for me when we’re both on non-overflow servers.
You can press M for the main map to show. 0.0 Not sure if you tried that.
Tried that as well, the map is grey there too.
A person in my guild had this happen to her, she even left the instance and came back in and still had no waypoint button. I’m assuming it’s just a bug, relogging fixed it.
Relogging twice didn’t fix it, and I didn’t attempt it after that.
Wasn’t sure where to report this, but the last 2 times I did the Mad King instance I had a grey minimap with no waypoints on it. It’s not horrible until the Mad king teleports up one stage and you have no way to get back up.
Nice! I wish I could turn my monitors like that though.
I play rangers because I’m lazy, I’d rather the monster run to me instead of me running to them. By the time they get to me they are close to dead anyways, so I don’t have to run to far to grab the loot they drop either. I’ve also tried mage type classes, but I don’t really like them.
There’s only 4 of them in game, but they don’t seem to do anything. It doesn’t sell to npcs as junk, they don’t combine in the mystic forge, they aren’t used in discovering anything (atleast in LW and Huntsman). Found nothing on the wiki or google, and they been in my bank forever now and I’m not sure if I should npc them or hold on to them.
I was browsing the Trading post and was looking at iron ore when I noticed that the lowest listing was 14 copper and that the highest offer was 15 copper and the second highest offer was 12 copper.
Basically items on the TP looked like this
Buy Orders for iron ore:
15c
12c
11c…
And the listed items for iron ore:
13c
14c
16c…
Now you would think that all/some the iron ore priced at 13c and 14c would be sold to the buyer who placed the order at 15 c, either at the price they were listed at or at 15c an ore. But neither happens, so the order that is at 15c won’t get filled and if people don’t pay attention and just blindly match the lowest selling price then it will circumvent all the 15c buy orders and keep filling up the TP with items priced less than the highest buy order.
Citadel of Flame
- Pop Up dialogue, and if that fail walking in myself
- Just one, but we end up in different instances
- Was online and in CoF when the crash last night happened, I did one dungeon group successfully after the crash but our fifth member couldn’t get in so we 4 manned it. Since then I’ve tried 3~4 parties and atleast one of us (usually me) ends up in a different instance.
I don’t know if this is a bug, and if it is not a bug then maybe it should be. In a personal story you should not have to kite 7 veteran mobs for 30mins+ to get to the next area of the personal story, even in events with 20~30 participants I’ve never seen more than 4~5 veteran mobs up at once. Having one person to fight 7 veterans in an area where you are by yourself is not fun, and if it’s something that you need to do with someone else then it shouldn’t be called a personal story.
This occurs when they have roamed too far from their initial spawn area. Its not a bug, its a game mechanic. There may be cases such as Sarisa’s Cursed Shore skill challenge that IS a bug, but thats a case by case basis.
Sometimes their natural Patrols will take them to the edge of their ‘vulnerability area’ and even kiting them a small bit will take them outside it, this also isn’t a bug, just poor routing for the monster.
That’s not true at all, I’ve fought a champion troll in a cave with very little room to run around in and he resets. I circle around in the same area multiple times, and I can do this for over 10 minutes and then it resets following the same path.

I play ranger with my main weapon as a short bow, and I’ve noticed high HP mobs or champions turn invulnerable if they get kited too well. This invulnerable mechanic makes sense if you’re shooting at a monster from a ledge they can’t get too, but not when you and the monster are right by each other and you are just dodging his attacks. High HP monsters aren’t too bad since you can just try again, and you can afford to get hit. But against champions you shouldn’t have to let them get a hit on you, especially since they do a lot more damage and their hits can usually stun/knock you down.
