Off topic, but could someone explain all this kitten thing? I’ve never seen a forum use kittens and I’m not sure what I’m supposed to be substituting in my head for it to make sense.

I’m surprised only a few people mentioned Phalanx, but I’m glad someone did. Skirt’s a little skimpy, but I love the blend of heavy and cloth aspects- it doesn’t offend my delicate fashion sensibilities as a female.

Whether or not you agree with a 100% rep guild is of course, totally your own opinion. I complete agree with whomever it was that said everyone would be better off just joining guilds that are like-minded. In our case, we’re a fairly laid back guild, mostly 18+, rather salty, we do very large weekly guild missions, have fun and play together a lot.

We ask 100% rep because we want to keep providing the experience and benefits that we provide. The rep rule is the honestly the only rule we enforce on any sort of consistent basis.

Not that I feel the need to defend my guild, but I come from years of loyalty to your guild and guildies, so maybe I’m old fashioned. Maybe my entire guild is old-fashioned, it works out that way.

Nah the officers all talked with each other since we had guild missions today, he couldn’t name the officer he “cleared” it with, and none of us had talked to him. So I was just making sure, since it appears he did report me, even though I’m not sure what for.

I apologize if this topic has been rehashed but I tried searching “guild rep/representation” and didn’t find anything on this already.

As far as I’m aware, having a guild that requires 100% rep is not against ANet ToS, and it’s not “leveraging force” against anyone to stay. Every recruit message says “100% rep” and before an invite is sent, all officers restate that we’re 100% rep.

We’re totally cool if that’s not for you, and we’re polite and nice about it. The conversation:

I’m pretty sure he’s just over-reacting, but I wasn’t sure if there actually is some sort of thing we’re violating here by requiring 100% rep.

I’d want to see like a statue of all three together, in kind of a triangle style (backs to each other) each facing out in some pose or another. Maybe not on Claw Island because it’s not easily visit-able.

Yeah Silverwastes is the issue now. My main is stuck there, I can’t log in without the whole client booting me out.

Coming from a game where “marriage” had good benefits (base stat bonuses, 2 minute cd warp to spouse, mini pet for your shoulder…) I’m really rather baffled by the huge aversion to a marriage feature in this game.

Actually this is the first MMO I’ve ever played that didn’t have such a feature. The large amount of negativity and emphasis against it is really surprising for me considering how nice, chill and welcoming I find the community. It’s not really just for RP’ers.

As an affianced person IRL, we like the idea of being able to “marry” or at least link two characters/accounts in game. Like a community storage between the two (personal and community) and hopefully(!) a warp to spouse and a title would be cute.

500g limit was just receiving I thought? I paid someone for Dusk recently and it’s a good thing we trust each other because I had to wait for week roll-over to send them another 450g. I’m pretty sure you can dump more than 500g+ into guild storage, you just can’t receive more than 500g.

And as far as I’m aware, it’s cumulative, so you can’t receive 500g via mail then receive 500g via guild storage (I know, we tried).

If bugged voices and a game crash are forcing you out, you probably don’t have a lot of patience anyways. I spent 7 years on a game (F2P aka P2W) where bugs were expected to a degree that you can count on at least 20+ people on each server checking after each patch if certain trade/duplicate glitches were re-introduced after being “patched” every so often.

Oh your AOE circle farmed all the herbs in the area it covered? 1-2-Farming Easy Peasy.

Oh World-Boss #1 has a disease condition that affects everyone in a certain radius, and it didn’t reset once leaving the lair and therefore infected the entire game and docked 1000 health each second leaving the game unplayable? Yay.

Oh, you’re auto-attacking the mob you’re standing on, but your “Target is not in range?”

Dexterity stat doesn’t increase at stated percentage and evasion is broken? Have fun Archers- we’ll see you in 5 years when you finally cap and we’ve been sitting here for 4.5 (and lol @ your broken damage for 7 years and still counting).

Oh, a Gladiator can glitch their skills to 0 cool down and break PvP? That glitch existed for years. was patched and showed up again. Utterly hilarious.

I don’t have much sympathy for anyone that complains about a few aesthetic bugs. =/

I’m having the same problem, and my thought was that perhaps there was a daily purchase limit on gems? I was hoping that might be the case before I went the extra mile to set up a ticket.
