Oceanic times are fine, despite what people say. Meow is a powerful guild. There’s something wrong if you have an outmanned buff at 6pm central time, though.

Then let me extend an invitation to Meow from Ehmry. Our five main guilds have never left, will never leave, and are probably the strongest backbone of any medium WvW server. Honestly, Meow is the only reason NSP is staying at its current ranking. I’m not sure if you guys are appreciated or not over there, but we have a lot of respect for you and the amount of work you put in for your server.

Meow is not leaving. I’m representing Meow, now, since FINE has left (but was in both guilds for a while). I’m also trying to work out some ways to get more people to WvW, since I’m honestly getting tired of seeing ghost towns in team chat in the borderland maps.

We could really use some guilds who have no problem coordinating with other guilds.

@dunnberry, FINE just left earlier today. Sts left, too. Os and Meow (as expected) are staying. I haven’t heard of what other guilds have moved.

@Ralathar that’s pretty much what we’re failing to do. Meow guild during Asian evening does pretty well organizing groups, and so does Os whenever they’re on, but then for a decent portion of the day it’s either mindless zerging (and they love to go to Eternal most of the time), or little numbers on. Team chat is often a ghost town in any of the borderlands (why are they so shy?).

+1 to loyalty titles being a pretty legitimate idea, psychologically and marketing-wise.

@Ultramatum – WvW already gives you MF bonuses and several other bonuses for winning. Your idea is similar to this in a way – and as we can see people still transfer to be on the winning side/get winning bonuses.

There is an Outmanned buff – a.k.a. “a slight advantage.”

Preventing Red from performing upgrades just because Blue owns nothing will just cause controversy and isn’t exactly a viable solution, as Green may just be doing equally as well as Red and this would give a much more significant advantage to Green than to Blue – as an example.

In my experience, one of the biggest issues behind losing servers is the loss of manpower due to lack of morale based on the current score of a server – and especially people/guilds giving up by transfering to a ‘winning’ server without considering rankings and other environmental factors. I’m hearing HoD has had a problem with several guilds/people who play WvW transfer off server, which is really depressing – but ranking wise you guys honestly don’t seem to be doing so bad.

Different tiers of outmanned buffs might be a better idea, though, to counter this and encourage more people to try. The point of the game is to have fun, but people tend to care too much about score to really put up good, coordinated fights and enjoy doing so.

If there was a way to figure out which guild collectively contributed the most to the capture of a keep, that would be amazing. Say the guild members involved that have keep claiming abilities are given the first opportunity to claim the keep, and that opportunity expires after 2-3 minutes.

I was informed by a guildie that whichever guild has the most people representing at the time of capture of a certain objective, had a few minutes to claim the objective first before any other guild could claim the objective. This might be inaccurate since I haven’t really checked myself, but it seems legitimate.
