Yeah, you’re not the only one. I have like 20 clovers left (but uh, my last batch of attempts I ended up getting only 2 clovers out of 25 – wtf?). I only logged in once since the Wintersday update though, and spent that half hour in WvW.

Yeah, at the rate it’s going, BP is going up 3 slots. Hm.

Not quite as naive as you think; I’ve seen people on a previous server I was on put up a treb in front of a gate of a tower we were besieging. It does happen.

We do that, too, usually when we’re karma training; mostly just for the laughs, not for sabotage. The trebs in the screenshots don’t seem to be strategic locations (I think one of them could have been, but I wasn’t there in any of those) to hit other objectives – thus they’re basically draining supply and increasing the siege count on the map. But I see what you’re trying to say, just seeing them there isn’t proof itself, it’s just questionable.

It would be the quartermaster at the supply depot. Though, I’d suggest not purchasing that upgrade before fortifying walls and doors, adding cannons and mortars and a waypoint.

They’re part of the “Hire Services” upgrade, not there by default.

@Feni.4306 and anyone else with the sound glitch – go to your sound options and decrease the sound quality (you’ll hardly notice it anyway – mine’s in the middle and so far it’s only crashed once in the past few weeks) and increase the mixing buffer size (mine’s at most stable).

Probably. If you’re not using that build in WvW then you get no ele love. It’s a fairly common one, capable of taking out a few enemies and well as being able to solo camps. The only reason I can think of for people not using it often is the amount of effort it takes.

But still, a staff is necessary for sieging + Blasting Staff trait.

Slamz was saying that CD wasn’t attacking Mag BL and vice versa on CD BL, which obviously wasn’t the case. I have a feeling either of you two might be confused as to who’s who and making inaccurate statements based on that, but feel free to clear it up if I’m the one confused.

Keep telling yourself that, because I think it actually works as a distraction. Today I bumrushed into an upgraded enemy supply camp then started running away, downed, and since they were occupied with me outside of the camp, my server ended up taking that supply camp with little resistance.

Good fight at Shadaran Hills, CD. Your 6 golem zerg at the north gate was definitely a surprise.

I’m going to have to agree with GummiBear here. I know several people who build stacks on weapon and then change it out with another weapon with a different sigil, to reap the benefits of both sigils. For example – 25 stacks of bloodlust then switch to a weapon with 5% dmg. It’s pretty effective.

Also, stacks reset on changing zones/instances.

I’m kind of sad I missed fight club this week, though – fell asleep a few hours before it started. Judging from this thread and last week, it sounds like next week’s fight club on Mag might have some worse trouble….

I have 2962 kills and have/used ~850 badges so far. I’d think about 200 of those were from JPs. Other than that, I honestly think the drop rate is fine, and I definitely happen to get more badges when I focus on killing one enemy/tagging.

The loss of loot because you’re dead is a problem I’ve faced many times, though.

One of my friend’s friends had The Legend drop from Kohler’s chest, so there is some worth in passing Kohler.

Then again, I skip everything I can to finish the dungeon as quick as I can, since I’m usually in it for the tokens + silver. You can skip the first burrow, the spider queen, the gravelings in the trapped hallway before Kohler, oozes and gravelings after the 3-trap event in p2, and gravelings in the tunnels before final boss in p1/p3. If you finish the run in <30 minutes you get 15+ silver drop from the last boss, which adds up to 41s with finishing the dungeon (and more if you sell the drops you get along the way). As for Kohler, I let the cave troll deal with him whenever it spawns.

Aaaand I can’t wait to see those who will turn up in this week’s fight club tomorrow.

Meow is still there, not me. People kept begging me to come over, and after talking with someone from TFO (who’s still on NSP) I was really discouraged about my chances of trying to get more people into WvW (also see shiverpeaks.com – there’s like no one there and this is what I was going to try) – and well, while it’s not a ghost town (and thus actually fun) when Meow is on, Meow is on when it’s 3am where I live.

Meow is not leaving. I’m representing Meow, now, since FINE has left (but was in both guilds for a while). I’m also trying to work out some ways to get more people to WvW, since I’m honestly getting tired of seeing ghost towns in team chat in the borderland maps.

edit: a few people wanted to have someone post the score on the forums but hadn’t, so I guess it was a bad idea for me to go ahead and do so anyway.

I’d agree though, programming an offensive npc might be a pain and prone to bugs/exploits.

the AC set is level ~30, badge set is exotic 80

and 600-900 kills isnt alot, it counts assists as well, you get loot bags for assists as much as you get kills. you can get 1-200 kills in just a couple hours of playing

AC exotic set is level 80. I’m using AC set mostly for the stats, transmuted with other armor for appearance.

objection! I dropped perhaps 50% worth of catas, ballistas and rams during our zerg (about 2 hours) in EB today, and I’m making gold. (this is, of course, including drops. in fact, I was surprised that tahlkora’s mask [sold for 3 gold] dropped off an invader…haha).

Power+Toughness+Vitality armor is sold by the AC and HotW dungeon vendors, so WvW’s Invader gear is not the only set. In my build I have 3 pieces of AC armor, HotW leggings, Arcon (Dwayna) shoulders and invader boots (though the leggings, headpiece and coat are transmuted with what i like, priory garb/noble pants/feathered headpiece).

Ehmry Bay…your trebbing of Wildcreek Run and having Sorrows Furnace take it from us, and vice versa is pretty amusing….
