Uhh I guess congrats on JQ for their win! Low morale along with DIE and IRON leaving makes it worse I’ll be roaming on JQBL so come kill me whenever you want to.

DIE left weeks ago. Far as IRON, they were a shell of what they were in terms of activity and their two main commanders, one of which is sick so has far more important issues to take care of than a video game alongside the other commander Offski whose activity was dwindling long before leagues started it was only matter of time.

Not that I know the IRON guys personally, but I did notice your old main raid leaders haven’t been on for awhile it seems. You can just TELL the difference between when the main guys were leading and then other IRON guys. It is really too bad, wish IRON the best. I remember back in June your 25-30 were quite strong. The one I remember the most was a female human necro who would lead, really smart open field. Anyhow, best of luck and also, Wrex Kruger was fun to follow when I was on SoR temporarily. Haha well I have truly enjoyed fighting SoR tonight and last week in EBG mostly. Unfortunately I had to go abruptly after 1.5 hours but it was some FUN fights tonight in TC BL while I was there that first 1.5 hours. [Human Guardian Silver Major, CERN Commander] I am in Q now so get ready, CERN commander coming back to the map, me and Nightlight going to RAIN HELL tonight with our little CERNIE crew and the Zombie Coast!!!!!! By the way you guys acted when I pushed into hills on that first fight of the night when you guys just waited for us it seemed you were waiting for loot bags, kinda funny when you became the loot bags.

Thanks SoR for all the fights today in Eternal Battlegrounds! It was an awesome 3-way fight for SMC (although Maguuma was a non-factor) and the Zombie Coast I’m happy to say claimed victory! You guys put up a good effort today against us. We purposely hunted you down the whole time since you let the Maggie Bears get everything T3/no resistance, pick on the Maggie Bears more ya know? Anyhow, I had a great time commanding the TC zerg against you hopefully another day later this week we will have a rematch, until then…

I’m just wondering if you understand what 80+ people can do in a zerg. We left the map because you sat your fat blob of players on top of keep walls and only pushed us with JQ on our flank. Good fights keep us around, but timid commanders are boring. The 3 way in the BL was fun though.

Don’t come on here and try to take the enjoyment we had from our reset night away, we did in fact enjoy beating you every time and its our accolade to hold. I don’t expect the outcome to be the same if you and Agg are together in force because that’s a force few groups can handle but on reset night we were most certainly the victors.

Really not sure why you have such a kitten for me or my guild. Lying about what? You came here posting about us first, and making assumptions. When I corrected you, more assumptions paired with insults were posted by you.

Here is a fact- you lost your keep because almost every player on the map was on your icon while you were fighting JQ, after you wiped half of us. An immediate fight with JQ after wiping half of our group indicates you were pushing on us while they were on our flank.

Knowing the map population cap is ~100, (and I’m not saying you had 100 players) and that we had around 40- what makes you think that I would lie about losing a fight with you guys? In skill lag 80+ vs 40 is a matter of a big group cleaving over a smaller group. You played a very careful game with that number of people and it was boring and laggy. If you can’t understand that, then I apologize for you.

@ TC why come to SoS borderland for the easy points. how the hell will your milita get better if all you do is play for #2? Y not try to push JQ borderland when we push there and reset that wp on bay? Take 50 ish and try to 4 ram each gate? Instead you try to havok undefended towers… SoS ventures to JQ alot more then TC even though TC has 2x our population in NA.

80+ is beyond exaggerative, only one guild even went to Eternal Battlegrounds on reset night from TC. Without a doubt we had more numbers than you, but please don’t exaggerate it. You guys had around 50 yourself, we had about 60-65 at any given moment. While we did have a numbers advantage you have more experienced players, and you guys excel at “blob busting.” Then you come here and try to say that “We left the map because you sat your fat blob of players on top of keep walls and only pushed us with JQ on our flank-Odinzu” which is a complete lie. SoS (You) and JQ double teamed us for the first two hours of reset night in Eternal Battlegrounds and we weren’t able to secure anything. We decided to just let both servers have our structures and just keep wiping both of you until you left our area. Which is exactly what happened, we fought around seven (7) times and you lost every engagement, not once did we use JQ as a flanking tool on your group, we merely waited until they left to engage you or vice versa so that we were protecting our own flank. You left the map because you were getting farmed over and over and over. There was even an instance where you came and pushed behind us when JQ tried to take Langor tower from us and we wiped JQ and then you subsequently afterwards. I know you’re bent about it but you don’t have to come on the forums and lie to kick it. Finally, the only group sitting in keeps was yours we waited out in the field forever and when you wouldn’t fight us in the open field we just PvDoor’d other towers, sent out scouts, and took supply camps so we could obtain some of our PPT back while you bunkered down behind the Valley Keep walls, now don’t get me wrong 1:1 your players are much more skilled than our zerg was and we did have about a 15-20 man advantage on you at any given time but considering those two variables and the fact that some of my group was rally-bots who died on the first push, the fights were even enough. Don’t come on here and try to take the enjoyment we had from our reset night away, we did in fact enjoy beating you every time and its our accolade to hold. I don’t expect the outcome to be the same if you and Agg are together in force because that’s a force few groups can handle but on reset night we were most certainly the victors.

SF always brings the fights. Can’t wait to see you guys later in the week when full guilds can get into the map.

TC and SoS may not have coverage, but both servers have a lot of great guilds so NA prime is always a wild ride. Next week JQ has to get back into the PPT game to face BG, so SF is going to be focused on open field fights almost all this week. I look forward to seeing you all out there.

SoR was the most exciting server I ever played. Although I am a new TC player, I can tell you I learned more fighting them than I have learned my entire WvW experience. I will take losing to them more often if we get fights like we did last week. It helped me step up my play because of the high tempo that SoR plays at. Special thanks to [FEAR], [TSYM], [IRON], and [HELIOZ] for the tough fights!

I must’ve missed those posts (dont read every single one) but no bragging should be going on, even tonight we were a majority militia and minority solid guild players when we (TC) fought against SoS. That’s why everyone was scattering all over the place and I had to continuously tell them to “stack!”

SoS you guys made today fun, you gave me a real battle as a commander taking your keep in Eternal when it had a waypoint and then taking your garrison in SoS Borderlands. Thanks for the hard fought battles if it wasn’t for those two fights in particular today wouldn’t have been worthwhile.

+1. We had a couple decent wipes and was able to rally people into ts3 to get things started. I am sure you all in the TC zerg were thinking free badges (especially on the Bluelake push) but wanted to prove a point to everyone what the new meta is since ac buff etc. It was helpful I hope to majority of miltia that came out and watched the mechanics that RE/TC friends use when stacking/regrouping veil bombing etc. Thanks for the fights.

Hey thanks that was fun, you really outnumbered us @ first making things pretty frustrating but we decided to fight the endless SoS horder nonetheless. After the hold @ Bluelake tower with all the Superior Ac’s we gathered more numbers and the fights were more interesting. We had some people doing a fight club and needed them to leave to balance out the population, we had 30-45 before that Bluelake tower fight. It was fun, thank you guys.

Amazing coverage at that late at night. Keep up the great fights. Curious though, RE guild what is with the running in circles in EB with a larger group getting wiped by groups half your size. I must admit it is harder to collect bags while laughing, but has that strategy ever worked for you? Also is there a point to it that we are missing out on? I watched the first 1:15 minutes of the video and had to stop. The maker of the video didn’t even target one enemy during the zerg v zerg at the beginning. In other words, all he/she did was run forward and spam skills, ignoring everything else. He couldn’t even care less what the enemy players were even doing because he didn’t even target one of them!

How is that possibly any fun whatsoever?

You clearly have no understanding of organized WvW… he is following the commander of our mostly Guild-based zerg.

I say this with an honest, open heart: Any NA guilds looking for a new home need to move to Kain. We’re just a few guilds short (on their side) of this being the matchup we’ve been looking from. Yak’s could use some oceanic bolstering too I guess, but i don’t like to share the loot.

Ignore the drama about Zer0. Ignore the fact that since he left, maguuma hasn’t lost eternal bg at all. Ignore what appears to be his very mental fabric unravelling in this thread, and ignore the fact that military members with the blue taco apparently use it as a reason to substitute the lack of rank in real life. EBG has been fine because Xushin has the week off and has been putting in a ton of hours so EBG is staying afloat, plain and simple thats the reason why EBG is not suffering. I dont use a blue taco to substitute rank in real life ROFL you’ve got to be kiding me.

Xushin lost SM 30 minutes after I logged out for the night and he took over. Based on this, i can only conclude that the rest of the stuff you said is also false.

Not to tear open old wounds here, but I wanted to try an clear up some confusion about the Wär situation and the exit of Zero, as I think my exasperation with the concept of guild missions certainly did not help the situation.

Wär is and likely will always be a WvW focused guild, however once guild missions came out, those of us (basically me), realized there was some benefit to doing the missions, not just for the ascended gear, but for the one day when inevitably the Anet folks decided to add in something that took guild commendations that would benefit players in WvW.

Obviously getting anyone to participate was a chore, as most if not all of us found them dull and uninspired, and the vast majority of the guild didn’t even have world completion. Yet more of us would run them with other guilds, because you could get personal rewards repping any guild.

Since they came out, it has been nightmarish convincing people to come to do the missions, and those that do come get punished and spend even longer on them, because of those that choose not to do them, for perfectly legitimate reasons (like they are not really any fun).

I have continue to hold out that people will see the value in sacking an hourish a week on these to build up commendations for future use (banners/whatever new comes out), and to help attract players to the guild who may not like PVE, but like ascended gear.

Unfortunately, even with the return of some older members who were taking a break, and new influx members into the guild, the missions still continue to flouder with attendence, even with the support of some helpful folks from other guilds who run them with us and their normal guild.

Zero never really cared to do missions, and while that isn’t that big a deal to me, as I understand his dislike of them, it set an example that the officership of the guild (at least to some degree) didn’t support the missions. This punished the few of us trying to tow the line.

No reason to discuss the night he left in detail, but I would imagine tempers were high, and things were said/done that people likely would have rather taken back. The circumstances were not a unique situation though. Guild missions being a “requirement” are like mumble and full rep in WvW. You can only “require” so much of online people before a fun guild becomes a horrible dictatorship.

My personal frustration at trying to do these missions with so few people and with so little support I am sure contributed to what went down that evening, though I again wouldn’t have supported demotion (as it symbolically is offensive, and in reality is nearly meaningless).

Zero supported the guild and was a good all around commander and player as far as I could tell. I am not nearly as active as most, but I personally had no issue with him, as he support the guild with siege, money, and was a positive influence in bringing in folks from WvW.

In retrospect, I wish the systems in game allowed WvW players to ignore tedius PVE details (at least at a guild level). Saddly that is not the case now, and if the guild doesn’t come together for the tedium, it is hard to come together in WvW. I think if the guild missions represented a significant time investment I could have understood Zero’s position, but it just seemed so out of character to me that he chose to never participate.

I never intended that folks blow up on the forums over this event, and since I have been the honorary PVE coordinator since these darn missions came out, I accept a lot of the blame for what happened. The bad blood happens when people leave, and I am sure I will spike zero if I get the chance, but in reality, I do not think there is nearly as much bad blood as people believe. I am sure he will be happy with his new guild and I wish him the best.

meh, in the beginning it was like that, everything was mentioned with a few exaggerations from both sides and probably a heat of the moment kind of thing on the forums but i’m not about to continue it anymore as it seems to have died down a bit. Now people are just replying to zero to annoy him and make his stay in Kaineng as miserable as possible until they move down to tier 4.

You’re not annoying him, he’s Tolbrihn 2.0. Posting on the forums is not going to make someone’s in-game experience miserable. This is not only to you, but he moved on to a different server and is happy there, wish him the best and let it go.

Drama aside there were some very good fights in EB tonight. One of the most fun nights I have had in WvW.
