If I’m free, I usually respond to requests for assistance. I just think the overall GW2 online community should be more chatty and friendly.
Many times I find it isn’t.
As I see Korean is not a language option in my UK-issue game, I’d make a guess you’d need to by the game in Korea, or at least somewhere in SE Asia, and Korean should be a language option.
You always know where to go next in your Storyline with the green star.
The Hearts (‘quests’) can be done in any order, or even partially completed and returned to later. They are just there to give you XP, world-completion percentage, and a warm fluffy feeling.
They need not be done in any kind of order. It’s completely up to you as to when and if you do them.
You can see on the world/area map all completed or partially completed hearts, and any you’ve come across but not attempted yet.
As for zones – you are free to wander into any zone you wish, when you wish. The only issue is to be aware of is that area’s recommended skill level range.
A log out and log-in seemed to cure this issue.
Phew.
I have outgrown my rings and earrings, and purchased replacements from TP. However, I cannot replace one of my earrings and one of my rings. GW simply won’t allow me to.
If I try, it just replaces the first one I upgraded.
Both locked items were crafted for me by a friend, but I don’t see why I now cannot replace them.
wow it took my 50 times of editing to post a pic lol…
Wait until you find the need to post multiple picture files, then it’s even more ‘fun’.
A pretty weak answer here, as I’m not a ‘leet’ player, but when I was levelling my Mesmer, I found it easier than expected as many of the skills have quite fast-recharge rates.
I disliked Mesmer in GW1 and loved Elementalist, but in GW2, that situation is strangely reversed.
Sexy?
If I saw that running toward me wanting a hug, I’d hide under a table.
the Ritualist as a class again,
Oh how I would love that.
But I remember reading something on this forum a couple of years back about how this was impossible, or wouldn’t work, lore-wise…Can’t remember exactly what that was though
I’m sure there’s more than enough plot and lore-holes within the whole Guild Wars universe for it to be shoe-horned in somehow.
Yes, Yumiko Ishida, me and my sisters have also spent far too long as exiles – strangers in a strange land.
We long for the time when we can, at last, return to our homeland – Cantha.
Perhaps the inhabitants tried to explain the mists’ behaviour via fractal mathematics. It was either that name or the’ Chaos of the Mists’ dungeon.
Similar to ‘Chav-Tanking’ then?
In GW1 it was easy… It actually told you this stuff!
I still think (and always have) that the res-point travel charge is totally counter-productive as it prevents people casually bouncing around a map, so they stick to one area. This reduces traffic through more isolated towns or areas even more.
I know in large towns you get the Asura gates, but this is a minimal nod toward free travel.
Ohhh, I always miss out on this kind of fun. I must look too harmless, or cute, or something.
I love kittens
" What is the allure of female humans characters and why are there so many males playing them?"
Answered your own question there.
I’m sure many male players would prefer the hours of looking at a character’s bum – for that bum to be a nice pert female one.
So far, all that these doors have spat out are nasty things that take an immediate dislike to me.
@ Edewen.8304:
Combat Bikini? Hmmm, I like the sound of that. Reminds me of my GW1 warrior sister’s garb.
Also, you confused me with that YouTube vid. I was wondering what the hell Gaviscon had to do with female armour, until I realised it was the advert ><
I am getting a bit bored with ‘Broken Lockpicks’. Is there an ‘Intact Lockpick’ drop I can possibly use to crack open one of my Black Lion Chests perchance?
This is another occasion where Anet have put restrictions where they perhaps shouldn’t have. Where’s the harm in customising the UI? It doesn’t alter gameplay in any way, just makes it more pleasing.
The second occasion (a more personal one, that is intrinsic to the game), is the inability to remove a weapon skill and replace with another attained skill of my choice. A constant annoyance to me.
I’m assuming it’s similar to other continents on that planet, like Skyrim. That is, sunrise at about 6am and sunset at about 8.30pm.
The planet also seems to have a negligible planetary tilt, as there seem to be no seasons or lengthening/shortening of the day. This would also account for the relative stability of the weather pattern.
My usual answer to this type of question… Not nearly enough!
I do sometimes get annoyed by the items that are account-bound by default (specifically stuff like XP-boosters and certain ingredients).
I can’t really see the point in this immediate restriction, and this prevents me from donating the items to more needy players if I want to, and I end up with a storage bank full of account-bound items that are useful, but I’m not worried about. Seems a waste and unnecessary.
If Level scaling was gone would you feel motivated to visit lower level areas again?
Posted by: Nakatsu Hime.3520
With GW2’s open-world set-up, I think scaling is necessary, otherwise lower levels could (or would be forced to) just stand back and watch helplessly as all the level 80s steamrollered entire areas of landscape.
Mind you, when I return to lower level areas, I do sometimes forget I’m not as strong as I was, and panic as I’m overrun by a group of level 8 wasps.
I must admit, GW2 is much less co-operative (in the social sense) than GW1 ever was. Because of the open-world style of play, no longer do you need to team up with guild buddies to do ‘that quest’, you can just happen upon a quest, help out, then wander off when you feel like it.
It is really a multi-player single-player game now.
Ahh well. Early days I guess.
Can’t remember exactly what that was though
