Hi!
I am lazy and have bad memory. Keeping track of what bosses I have killed today and on what alts gives me a headache. I would gladly pay some gems for some kind of tool/logg aiding me with this.
I know, I know, a pen and a piece of paper can do this easily for me without gems. But hey, I am lazy, and after all – isn’t it this kind of gem-shop items that are the best? There is no distinct advantage to other players and some of us still will pay Anet to make the gaming easier for us?
OK, the last patch just minutes ago seems to have fixed the issue. I bought a cheap Toy Ventari recipe and it worked great. So, do Anet give refunds on the lost recipes or do we have to be lucky, or buy on the TP, a new one?
I also felt dissapointed in these charged quartz raining freely from the Gifts.
I don’t argue against all the problem with timegating and people starting to play after Zephyr’s being left out etc. I agree there are several issue needing to be adressed.
But I have had a toon dedicated to farm quartz and make these charged thingys for quite a while now. I felt happy I now had enough to make the sets I planned. Now, after getting 5 times the amount in just one evening of giftwrapping – I suddenly feel fooled. I should have parked that toon at a ori node or something instead. Now the months making charged crystal feels just wasted… :-(
And just to be clear. I still Think GW2 is a great game. Just not perfect in every detail.
Ah, so that’s what happened. I used recipe for endless princess tonic and couldn’t find it. After Reading this thread I double checked the game messages (not on by default in my chat). Yep, I learned the Giver’s Darksteel-Imbued Inscription instead.
Hmm, do you Think this will be fixed or do we all need to report this bug?
You have chosen a great profession to advance. Why? Because huntsman is the only one that can produce the leather thingy currently.
Which is kinda useless atm since it’s only used to make the 2 bows.
Well, they have said that armor will be added this year so I don’t consider it kinda useless.
But on the other hand I wouldn’t recommand any doing huntsman first if you only plan to make daggers/swords…
Here you go:

It’s a very nice guide but I would like to Point out that there are cheaper ways of getting 500.
You can make Master Maintenance Oil to get to 440.
And then as already was pointed out those ascended materials help you from 450 – 475.
