Hardcore dungeon guilds are gonna want you to be experienced at every dungeon, and since Arah is one of the most ran ones, I highly doubt you’re gonna find a serious guild if you don’t know how to run Arah properly

I find Arah very interesting type of PVE, Nice fights and gives nice loot. But: You will only get lake experiences in PVE, when you’re in a real PVE guild. Not only that: With randomly people, it is very is difficult to play Arah, good and funny. So for more and beter PVE runs you need a real PVE guild

Arah is one of the hardest PvE in Guild Wars 2. It asks and excellent cooperation among group members. 1 fault is often already deathly.

I’m looking all many months a Semi-hardcore (hardcore) PVE guild. Still not find it

All PvE guild say no to me. For one reason: I have little experience in Arah, I know the basic things.

it is impossible to know everything: always room for improvement. Me, always wants to learn more.

What’s the problem ?,

I do not see it. I can play all types of PVE and Fractals, with little to no problems. I Have play my main class more than 2500 hours, If composition does not suit the guild, I can change it without any difficulties. I have max Fractals.

My main is Mesmer, but I can also play PS warrior, Power Necro and exceptional cases, I have also a DPS Guard

Again, I can play any type of PvE and Fractals. Only in Arah I have little experience.

Is there a PvE guild, which does not make any drama of it: that someone has little experience in Arah?, Really hope it.

The average playtime per week is around 70 minutes or something. You might want to keep that in mind.

Think the most people play a lot more than 70 min in the week I thin around the 15/20 hours is normal

It can a little harder and varied, It’s now a lot of similar things

I play a lot of PVE, have 2.5 years experience. DPS Mesmer is my main class, a total of 2508 hours played. Control DPS Mesmer excellent and PS Warrior reasonably to very good. PVE and Fractals is no problem for me. Exempting Arah, very little played :/

The current daily systems is too easy, in my opinion. Total no challenges. You can be finished within 5 minutes. The current daily systems is always the same.

Old daily and monthly systems was much more difficult. You had to do more, much more. You needed to do things in WvW, PVE, PVP and the world. And do not forget the jumping puzzles.

Give people a major challenge.
Like this:

1: Complete at least three world events
2: Finish Fractals level 30/40
3: Do at least three dungeons
4: Win two PVP battles
5: Capture least two towers in WvW

Reward for completing 25 ap points, 5 gold and weapon or armor piece.

This give people a nice and funny challenge, cost hours to complete it

Assuming you like greatsword and would like to use it in pve group content specifically dungeons, as sanderinoa mentioned.. harmonious mantras is better since your zerker geared, mistrust gives you negligible damage.. also the fact that you dont have any interrupts except diversion(your phantasm built, you dont want to shatter your phantasm for diversion) + greatsword pushback(you want them together so you can cleave, not push them away).

another great point sanderinoa brought up is the greatsword auto attack is based on distance, and for the most part you want to be close to get the might stacks through the fight considering your running signet of inspiration.

You can also try illusionary inspiration and have your signet of inspiration utility slot equipped with another lets say mantra of pain for example to have a 8-12% dmg increase immediately once you enter a fight.

I hate greatword, I use it only in some fractals. Like Ascalonian and the Harpies. I am more of a suicide bomber. Equipped with dual swords, full berserker armor and rings, straight to the enemies and kill them in the open field. Often it goes well, damage is high enough. It’s risky but fast and effectively.

However, to most other players expect not. That’s more Warrior style of playing. have my mesmer changed into a kind of a Warrior

I’d like to point out an entirely different thing that’s wrong with this build (surprised so many people overlooked it :P).
If you’re going with the stat+agony infusions, creating versatile ones where it’s not needed is a HUGE waste. Like you’d need to be super rich not to notice this. You seem to be using only one power infusion out of the 4 slots on your 2 weapon sets, the remaining 3 are versatile infusions.
Also, one of the trinkets that come in pairs is ALWAYS gonna be offensive and the other defensive. While it’s possible to use both defensive (one un-infused and the other one infused), it highly doubt it’s the case. Therefore you’ll have at least 2 offensive slots allowing you to save some money.
As for the amulet… if you know you’re going for an offensive infusion, why not buy the one that comes with the appropriate slot?

Last, maybe the most important thing… you have the money to go for stat infusions, some of them even unnecessarily expensive, yet you still have 2 pieces of armor of exotic quality? :O I just can’t understand this.

I don’t know whether you’re playing TP or a friend sent you money or what. But if you’re THAT rich, why are you even bothering with dungeons?

Ascended armor takes a lot of time to make it. And I’m not very rich in gold and belongings So cost what time

Mesmer is fine, but not the best. Mesmer in my hands is the same as: suicide bomber and kill most of the party I handle a Warrior DPS/PS a lot better

I’m not being selfish because I don’t derive any benefit whether you take my advice or not. I’m sincerely trying to help you develop as a player, and you can take my advice or not as you see fit. Again, if you want to improve the way to do it is to surround yourself with players who can push you to be better and soak up the knowledge and advice they give like a sponge. In some situations it can be useful most of the time totaly not. Good or bad, well no but convenient. 80% of the fights I use two swords.

Certainly great fun Solo Arah 1 or 2. it is certainly not easy. Have no idea how you will be able to doing it. Take Warrior or thief, looks the most easy

You asked for advice. A couple of good dungeon runner answered you already and told you that you are wrong. You build isn’t bad, but it’s not really great either.

Frankly, I have no idea what is the current DPS position for the Mesmer, but before the patch it at the bottom of the barrel next to the necro. Additionally, the Mesmer can have a really hard time maintaining his rather low dps because 3 phantasms can be hard to summon quick and maintain.

Greatsword is one of the worst PvE weapon for the Mesmer. Personnally, I won’t kick someone using one (except if I asked for experienced), but I’ll laugh a little at his expense with my guildmate that’s for sure.

You also lack Harmonious Mantra, which is a huge boost to your damage. You would also be better off with the line illusions rather than Inspiration if you don’t use a focus.

It’s a correct open world PvE build that you can bring in dungeon if you want, but don’t join zerker or experienced run and you should be fine.

Funny and annoying, Arah 4: max 40k ap min 20k ap, Meta builds, 3 Ele’s, No necro’s ranger noob is kick!!!!

Mesmer will always compare a Guardian. Often this is completely beyond compare. DPS Mesmer whit Full Berserker and power runes, have very high DPS and speed. Incidentally, best what I have not my main. That is a Warrior, full ascended and with Legendary’s weapons. I am playing very little with it, no idea why. Thank you all for the comments. A Semi hardcore PvE guild is hard to find. More than eight months looking for. Most do not want any Mesmer – Necro player. No idea why, Necro I can understand but Mesmer. For a PvE guild, here is a very experienced Mesmer player . 2408 total hours played. Necro 700 hours.

It is not necessary, you can get a lot of agony protection without ascended armor. But it is extremely pricey, ascended armor is a lot cheaper . You need 65/70 AR for Fractals 50

Firstly this, the new stuff in this game are amazing.

Only I have since the updates, heavy frame drops and client bugs. Every 12 minutes, stops the game.

In de nieuwe Lion arch zware framedrops, zeker wanneer er veel spelers er zijn. Onspeelbaar. niet alleen, deze twee dingen.
Ik speel Mesmer, een aantal kloonspreuken van de Mesmer werken heel slecht, en wanneer de Mesmer dood op de grond ligt kun je nog verder lopen.
Het ligt zeker niet aan mijn PC, mijn hardware is sterkt genoeg en internet is stabiel.

Warrior is for everyone a good class. Easy to handle. In most situations strong. Excellent damage, speed and adequate protection. Always take a meta build

Both are fun and great. Thief is good for solo runs and in Arah, TA and CM. Mesmer is more than a mage. Good dps in close fights, high in range. You need both

Not everyone speaks English well. In my country, we call it: Pidgin English ( steenkolenengels) Most Dutch people are bad in English I am trying it, what wrong and good is no idea.

Problem solved. We call it no longer a PU composition. Everyone has a different way about it. PU Mesmer in my guild: 4/4/6/0/0 or 0/4/6/4/0. With lots of invisibility spells, with conditioning status or berzerker armor, weapons and rings. With staff, sword and torch. Around this status: 2,200 power/2,600 armor/ 1,650 hp/ 40 % critical chance/ and 6/8 sec stealthy

Please allow me to ask you some question about the build. Why do you have clone death traits, Crippling Dissipation and Debilitating Dissipation, when you don’t have enough clone generation(like Deceptive Evasion)?

I do not always mantra spells. In some situations, especially in large groups of enemies, I use clone spells. To get away, for defense or to irritate enemies. For more scouting jobs, more stealthy spells, for sneaking things.
So, I change regularly the spells, not in any situation you need the same spells. But the bassist remains the same.
