@Spartacus: well ya because every time I popped it and went in I was the only red giant pushing away the enemy zerg. I saw no one else. Rampage is or was the best thing after the stability nerf and damage buff. Now I feel like warriors are meant to be trash in WvW for the entire era of HOTS because warriors were very good at launch, so now its the warriors turn to be trash. Im very sad.
WHY ANET WHY!?!!?? I was just starting to have fun again WvW. I could go into the enemy zergs again like in year 1, heck I was the only one using it in WvW. YOU HAD TO NERF IT BEFORE IT CAUGHT ON FOR WVW.
IS HOTS THE ERA WHERE MELEE IS TRASH FOR WVW? Well probably not for Revanant, BUT STILL I dont want many of my hours into my main warrior profession to be invalidated and have to wait until the next expansion just to have fun with it again.
Warrior Elite spec hasnt been revealed yet and if thats a disappointment, Im NOT BUYING the expansion.
Now I see that this nerf was influenced by spvp.
THIS IS WHY YOU NEED BALANCING FOR EACH GAME MODE RATHER THAN ALL!!!
Remember the GW1 wings you would get if you bought Aion? Can we transfer those wings to GW2 as a Hall of monuments rewards as a backpack piece?
Downed skills are listed with the weapon skills as well, why not list others so you dont have to equip and use them in order to see them?
For elites that totally replace your skill bar like warriors Rampage, Guardians tome of wrath, or engineers mortar. Listing these skills with the weapon skills would be a great help.
Now that we can set up our profession traits for each game mode PvE, WvW, sPvP would anet be able to balance each profession to each game mode? Instead of balancing the professions for all game modes? Like how in GW1 the skills were separated between pvp and pve. Individual game mode balance could allow professions to be adjusted for one mode without hurting it in another. Even though sPvP has its own item sets, profession skills and traits adjustments made for other game modes still affect sPvP.
Would individual game mode balance be better than balancing for all game modes at once?
Please increase the max rotation speed of the camera.
Increased speed would really help me with my custom keybinds in spvp. I already play it on max however its not enough to keep up with players.
edit: Could the “About Face” feature for the camera also get some attention as whenever a lot of things are happening on screen the camera tends to fail. Reverting to its previous location causing jerking to happen.

Thank you for the link. When i searched “Camera Rotation” Nothing came up. The slider has been maxed out since release its not a new slider. I gave mouse turning a try, it doesnt do well when i only have a three button mouse. Its really hard to press the skill buttons in combinations while still trying to move using qweasd.

ok anet
first u nerf our damage through ferocity and i adapted.
second you nerf our adrenaline by faster drain and penalizing us for missing our burst which is fair i mean there should be a penalty for missing.
third u nerf our stability. I feel INVALIDATED! Iv become a rag doll for all the whiners that influenced the nerfs.
is the stability nerf too far?
Please don’t give warriors an off hand weapon for specialization
Having only two measly skills to mess around with would make me really sad. Unless that weapon could also be used as a main where we get 5 skills and a burst skill.
Revenant Legends - Who would you channel?

Snaff.
So i could hear all the exploits of Destiny’s Edge and help Zojja bring closure to her snaff complex.
I did try using the lfg tool however, i rarely get any options that say “unorganized” and when i am lucky enough I find out that the unorganized taxi took me to an organized map. “ugh i just got trolled”.
Using the waypoint to change maps has worked for me. I just make sure that I use a waypoint that is out of zone first then waypoint back in. It came to the point when that method was only sending me to different kinds of organized maps and never to a pug map.
Trying to get into a map that s not focused on a single goal like chest maps or maps that just want to hunt a certain boss. Double clicking on the silverwastes waypoint keeps putting me on such maps when i just want to grind crests but i cant grind crests because there arnt enough players to help defend the forts.
The one where we threw pumpkins at each other? Is it located somewhere else other than LA?
Oh please make a samurai robe to wear into battle. Similar to Himura Kenshin’s (google him) outfit that flows with the warrior animations and flaps in the wind. Please, I would so buy on impulse just like i did with the sword.
Changing WvW maps every week would be a good way to keep things fresh now that Edge of the Mists is out.
There could be:
3 Edge of the mists and 1 Eternal
or
3 Bloodlusts and 1 EotM
or
3 Eternals and 1 EotM
And further WvW map additions would make things even more interesting, so how about it?
After playing Solo Arena and Snowball Mayhem for many days I gotta say that I have WAY more fun in Snowball Mayhem than on any map in Solo.
Maps in Solo have too many choices regarding strategy. Which objective should i cap? should i cap with the team or go ninja? The lord is under attack! do i respond or do i stay? With so many choices most of the time teams are getting split up way too thin and after winning or losing I just don’t get the thrill of teamwork.
Snowball Mayhem fosters a lot more teamwork in a solo roster. When I see my fellow team mates using their skills to strategically protect the gift carrier I truly feel part of a team. The simplicity of the map having no cap points is what enables such teamwork. It is a great achievement to get a bunch of strangers to play like that. I hope that Anet prioritizes maps like Snowball Mayhem to be put into the Solo Arena.
- Dolyak armor and vitality increases for each nearby ally up to a cap.
- Swiftness durations are doubled.
- Enemy dolyak kills have a 100% chance at supply bag drop.
- Increased damage on enemy dolyaks.
- Able to take supply from allied dolyaks in transit.
- Dolyak leaves camp earlier when enough allies are nearby.
- Able to transform into a dolyak at any allied camp and carry supply to any fort.
Thanks guys for all the replies. I have really enjoyed exploring you’re perspectives and I have learned a few new things. Can’t wait to know when the next elder dragon is gonna show. Until then I look forward to more discussions in the future.
Thx Mercury, after seeing your post i went there and found out that Ottilia has been found and that she was at Hoelbrak. Braham being the lead for the next elder dragon, BUSTED!
@FlamingFoxx – The reasoning behind the making of a new group of heroes is that most stories are a build up to some epic climax. Having Rox, Braham, and Kiel being part of something bigger than their Living Stories is a good opportunity that Anet shouldn’t pass up and it would be good to do it sooner than later since we are just beginning to know them, plus the stories of Rox and Braham are still unresolved. I know that the story of Destiny’s Edge is not over, after all they still need to avenge Snaff and fight elder dragon Kralkatorrik as a form of redemption. Does Destiny’s Edge have to fight every single Elder Dragon? The story would end up feeling repetitive.
If Destiny’s Edge is to regroup for another elder dragon or crisis then something needs to happen and Braham could be the lead to do just that. In Guild Wars 1: Factions Mehnlo, one of the 5, gets an urgent letter from his teacher Master Togo and off they go to the next campaign. In Factions, a relationship between one of the 5 and a new character was used to get the story going and the same could happen in Guild Wars 2. Braham being the stubborn hard headed guy, could very well go off on his own to rescue Ottilia and gets into trouble thus prompting his mother Eir to go after him with the rest of Destiny’s Edge.
@Lokheit – Im with Pixelpumpkin. Kasmeer feels more of a spoiled rich girl than a hero. It feels that way after hearing her dialogue at Southsun.
In Guild Wars 1: Flameseeker Prophesies players tagged along with 5 heroes throughout the campaign. The Guild Wars 2 campaign gathered 5 Heroes, one of each playable race, to take on elder dragon Zaitan. The motif of the 5 heroes is being continued through the Living Story events. With the disputes of Destiny’s Edge all settled it is unlikely that new conflicts would arise between them. Instead a new group of five is in the making.
Rox, Braham, and Kiel are the new heroes so far. Eir Stegalkin is the mother of Braham and the two dont get along. When threre’s conflict, there’s a stroy. So Eir is very likely to be in the new group. The fifth member could be Rytlock Brimstone since he has a connection with Rox. If these characters are to be the new 5 then we could see the next elder dragon reveal at the end or after the Dragon Bash event. Wouldn’t it be epic to have the next elder dragon crash the festival as a reveal?
If it doesn’t happen then probably 2 more heroes will need to be introduced before we can expect to tackle the next elder dragon. Most likely an asura and a sylvari to create a group of each playable race similar to Destiny’s Edge.
All of this is just fun theory crafting and not official ….yet.
Thx for the link, mystery solved. I usually dont look on the internet about the content. It feels like im spoiling the story for myself. Diving straight into the game is more exciting.
My experience with the Rox and Braham living story missions were good.
The biggest highlight for me was finding out that Eir has a son. My main is a norn so that tid bit of lore got my complete attention since Eir is a big part of the norn campaign. So who’s the father?
The conversation cut-scenes are the least appealing of the experience. This goes for both missions. The camera is too far away. Even though i could see their mouths move not seeing their expressions made the moment very dull. These conversations would have been better off in the same style as the GW2 campaign. I still hold the story telling of Guild Wars 1 as the best of all the other MMOs that I hope GW2 would someday achieve.
Lastly, the combat is way too easy. Totally mowed everything down in pure berserker gear.
Good work, Anet. I’ll be looking forward to the conclusion.
Gotta bunch of T5 mats that I want to turn into rares just to salvage them into ectos. I dont know whether to do all of them at once or a few a day because I’m afraid of getting shafted by Diminishing Returns. Does Diminshing Returns affect salvaging?
The trial worked great for me. No additional lag occurred and strategy worked out for the better. I hope that the change is successful enough to warrant re-implementation.
I got the new Giver’s insignia recipe that uses the 400 level snowflakes. So I’m wondering if snowflakes will still be around after Wintersday is over. I mean guardians would really love this insignia but to only have 2 weeks out of an entire year to be able to craft it just seems mean.
How about allowing the effects of legendary weapons to also be active while using kits?
Multiple legendary looks for the price of one! Better than nothing. Flamethrower Engineer is the one of the most fun builds for WvW. It is unfair not to have a legendary option for this build.
World – Darkhaven (not overflow)
Map – Plains of Ashford
Number in Party – 5
Went in the dungeon door after getting into party and pressed replay story mode. Once in the gate by rytlock is shut and my party said that they were right by rytlock and they couldnt see me and i couldnt see them. Tried reloging, re-entering, and re-inviting but nothing worked.
Please make this problem a priority.
