It says on the main page that the halloween stuff kicks off today (22nd).

Got up early (its 8am) to have a look and explore and open the chests, but cant see anything different Do I need to download something new?

But my main question is can I now start opening my chests to find a possible halloween gift? Or do I have to wait for this download or whatever it is? I dont want to waste my chests.

stop the overclock on the CPU at 4Ghz …. the stock speed is 3.6 ..Turbo mode on the FX-4100 runs at just 3.7 (4 cores at load) or 3.8 GHz (2 cores at load)

However, I am not a “PC Expert” like you seem to be, and I purchased this computer with the speed I quoted from a reputable store. I would not even know where to start changing the speed of it, but if this brand new PC can not run a game like this (whilst being able to run the other game I bought – Skyrim – at “Ultra settings”) then maybe, just maybe, the game has a small issue?

Hi, I’m hoping someone has experienced this and knows a simple solution

I have a brand new PC (specs below) and I have only loaded GW2. But, it just keeps crashing within 5-10 of starting the game. Theres no obvious pattern (I can stand in the newbie area for 5 mins and crash or I can run to the main land, view the map, and do an event and suddenly crash).

Sometimes I get error logs, which I have sent off, sometimes it just freezes and I have to reboot.

My specs:
Windows 7 64 bit latest build / updates
FX-4100 4.0
16Gig Ram
Geforce 550ti – with GW2 recommended drivers (also tried latest)
1tb HDD
Gigabyte 78LMT-S2P mobo (latest bios).

I’ve just also tried installing Skyrim and no crashes there.
