Question….. How often do you change your gear to change your stats?
I have all Classes at 80, each class has a minimum of 3 sets of armor, some as many as 6. Depending on the situation and what I’m doing, build & gear can change frequently. You want to PvE ? That’s 1 set, want to speed clear a dungeon ? that’s another set, running in a zerg in WvW ? that’s another set, want to run in an organized guild ? yup another set, slow night and planning to run solo ? another set, slow night but couple friends on so running small man ? again it’s another set.
To be the most optimal in each setting it requires different stats.
Aren’t you swapping armor in PvE for runes not stats? And depending on class aren’t you doing the same for wvw zergs and if you’re not wouldn’t you still have to change runes? Also if you are doing fractals aren’t you changing armor for infusions? If you got legendary armor you would still have to swap runes and/or Infusions. So wouldn’t you better off with exotic/ascended armor over legendary? I know its a cool thing to be able to change stats on the fly but really unless you like testing new builds constantly legendary armor will mostly be about glowings skins.

I haven’t bought it yet. Will I buy it? Yes when I know what I’m paying for, which imagine I will know in a couple weeks.
No timers. Please no more fights like teq or wurm where the only way to fail the event is by the timer running out. Don’t get me wrong they aren’t bad fights but if the timers weren’t there neither would be all that challenging(teq before it was nerfed).

With greatsword and hammer when running.
I’ll add that Monkey King is a trickster and Thief is a trickster. So it fits thematically with the class.

Move Escapist’s Absolution
Given the fact that condi is fairly strong right now, we are more than likely to pick Escapist’s Absolution over the other two. We would also have Driven Fortitude which is very strong combo and then people are going to be asking for both to nerfed. However if Escapist’s Absolution is a minor we’re given a much more meaningful choice and not everyone would be running both. Making so there would less complaining about it(yes this is thief and people like to complain about thief).
Side note: No they shouldn’t be combined, are you crazy?

Driven Fortitude and Escapist’s Absolution both mitigate damage. One by recovering a small amount of health and one by removing the source of damage. They both trigger on evade and both have a 1 sec ICD.
My question: If by making Escapist’s Absolution a minor would increase the ICD, then shouldn’t Driven Fortitude have a longer ICD?
You can interrupt the stealth from trapper runes o.o
Should point out that this condi clear trait would be the only one in the the game that has counter play to it. All you have to do is stop attacking once you have a few condi ticking.
Escapist’s Absolution has a icd of 1 sec which seems fast but will probably turn out to be once per skill use and or dodge.

Am I the only one who has a problem with this not being a minor? Doesn’t seem like we would have much choice but to choose it otherwise, even though other the master traits are pretty good.
Maybe swap it with Brawler’s Tenacity but I don’t know just my thoughts.
Edit: Was more tired then I thought. Swap Driven Fortitude with Escapist’s Absolution
