I think they could add a small delay to that #2 ability, like .5 sec or 1 sec. that might help from mistforming before you even know your dead but still keep the skill in line for what its intended for. Realistically it will take you a sec or so to decide what direction etc would be best to run to anyway so I doubt it would be much of a problem.

I was reading a lot of posts from people about bosses being skipped and that loot sucks, and how hard it is for devs to balance, because people could just walk in and farm the first boss over and over if the loot is made better. What if the bosses themselves did not have their loot table changed but instead each one gave you a pretty hefty magic find bonus that stacks each time you kill one. That way the more of them you killed the treasure drops would get better for the rest of the dungeon and killing all the bosses would mean you had the best chance at good loot from the final boss. It would still keep people from going in and just killing the first boss because his chest would still contain the junk loot , but would give players a reason to want to kill him.

its not just dragons tooth , all of our spells are slow. people can simply strafe out of the way of a fireball , where as any gun weapon will just shoot you down fast.

do you really use the F1-F4 buttons to swap elements or do you use one of those gaming mouses ? I had my keys all weird keybound and watching your video made me want to try to go back to the default. But then I thought maybe your not really using the keys it shows in your screen haha.

I play 30 arcana , 10 earth , 30 water for dungeons. I do the staff with blasting staff for larger fields and the evasive arcana dodge roll. I usually run around in air because it has the weakest buff when you swap to it. I usually throw down my static field in front of the ranger or other projectile player , and blind mob, then I usually run right up into the middle of things and swap to earth to give everyone protection and drop eruption right in the middle of everyone, if the fight is going well I switch to fire and flaming retreat back then cast lava font in the middle of them and dodge forward so everyone gets might from each fire field. If the fight was going badly I would not have went with fire and instead to switch to water to pull conditions and heal everyone from the 15 point trait swap bonus., Usually toss down frozen ground and then dodge roll into it to give everyone frost armor, and then drop rain or gyser and blast wave that for even more healing. I usually spend a ton of time in the back or wherever people need me but always dodge rolling into the middle to reapply protection every 8 sec or so and then swapping to water to remove conditions. Wow , that was a lot to type for essentially happens every 25 sec on ele lol. But the swap for earth and water are probably my favorites I think I rely on that water swap and gyser to heal myself way more than my heal skill. I have to be pretty hurt to hit that.

I know how your supposed to survive that ! Stand there holding your little ELE earth shield cantrip ! in the corner with your back against the wall , full vit toughness gear of course.

flame burst does act like a blast when you dodge with evasive arcana , I use it a lot.

My fingers are sore from playing my ele lol. I feel like all I do is swap elements. I have 30 Arcane , 20 water and 20 earth right now. the 15 trait abilities are really awsome when you use elemental attunment with them. Every 8 sec you can give protection to all , heal and give regen to all every 8 sec. I use staff and can easily kill 4 level 80s at once. Dancing around with protection and heals. it takes a while , but I feel much better than I did in my full power . perc build where I spent more money on repairs than I seemed to farm. Buy the dodge trait from arcane that casts spells if you dodge .
you can do the fire retreat roll , then throw lava font into it and dodge forward and create double might for 6 stacks , then use arcane wave and get even more. I have given myself 15 stacks of might doing that wich helps when you dont have fire traits.
I am currently wearing clerics gear , but might try to swap some out for a little perc.
I do admit I feel like I am pushing ALOT of keys to take down the same mob a ranger seems to kill before I even get 2 auto attacks off on before it dies. But i enjoy the class.
