I hope Darkhaven gets matched up against almost dead crippled kittens. Will still be a hard fight, but these close matches are fun.

On the servers getting slaughtered there is no wait time on the queue which is a good thing and it should encourage more people to play on said server.

At least there is no monthly fee.

You mean like the Warrior who has 10 people attacking him. He does the festive blade spinny thing, kills 8 people and runs off with only %25 dmg?

All classes are working as intended.

You should move to a better server like mine.
Darkhaven, seldom see a queue.

My server is still trying to locate the chat box.

They would DIE of boredom, so it’d be worth it.

I’d play if every WvW was a total disaster. Just would not be out there as much.

People will get tired of getting slaughtered and learn to fight.

MMO peeps are real go getters. Want to win? GO GET IT… earn it.

I’m on DH and when I looked at the map and seen 1 camp only and went in to any wvw map I did not see hardly anyone. One time I saw 5 people running out and they got zerged by 30+ people…..

Somewhere down the road they might figure it out. For now I just focus on lvling and crafting.

I say randomize all servers. 86 the match ups.
Let the chips fall where they may.
Maybe this will help the servers that are PVE only like mine, Darkhaven.
Over time people will get tired of getting owned and learn to fight as a team.
I think its worth a try.

Should have a seige weapon that will launch people over the keep walls.

I’m on Darkhaven and yes, this line up sucked.
However, till Arenanet says something about spawn camping and other questionable play its legit.

To servers that totally dominate the map.
Yes your winning and winning is fun, but you need to allow the other 2 servers a little breathing room to cap a few things before you zerg them.
If you lock the map down no one will want to try for the most part so your win seems a bit boaring.

Just food for thought….

With WoW and SWTOR I got the encryption keys for my accounts and feel they do a real good job at preventing hackers (I say prevent because nothing is %100 hack proof).

Would be if GW2 had this for us to buy.

I did a search and did not see this thread, so if its a repeat sorry.

I noticed there is not a option to ignore people in WvW.

I can do /ignore (player’s name) but can still their text in WvW. When I exit WvW I see where the player was ignored.

When I go back in I can still see their text.

What is night capping to you might be day capping to them.

“YAY! We own everything. This is great.”
2hrs later……
“So whats going on?..yawn”
3hrs later……
“Them 2 servers are a bunch of babies. They will not even try to to come out.”
Next day……..
“W00T! We are good….where the ^*^%&% is the enemy…GAH…you would think they would try at least. hehe”

An so how the story goes….

Since respawn camping is all the rage now days, this would add a better chance to get your group out to cap an draw the enemy from the front door.

Also this would low the rendering needs since less is seen there is less to render.

When there is 1 domninating server and they capped like %75 (or higher number) of the map the sky darkens and rain/fog/snow storm comes in killing visibility by %75.
This would allow the 2 other servers to have a better chance to sneak around and recap. If the dominating server drops to %60 (or any number) owning the map the skies clear up.

This would be a very neutral way to help balance without messing with the WvW in general.

Also would look pretty cook I think. Hard to see the enemy, burst of lightning and might see a silhouette of what looked like an enemy.

Also when your on the dominating server the targets get fewer and fewer, also boardom sets in as well.
On the unwinning servers targets all over, but you gotta be ready to be zerged.

Maybe if you let up so the other server can get a small foot hold it would encourage more people to try at WvW for a bit then you get your targets to zerg back.

No one reads chat so might as well be broken.

hard to rally troops to fight when you can not find the troops.
I think I do remember ArenaNet saying it will be 2-3mo to get the server matchups balanced. Till then will be feast or famine.

I totally agree with you about time zones. I’d hate to play and be nurfed because your in bed sleeping. Makes no sence at all.
I’m sure ArenaNet is looking into this, but the fix/answer will not come fast.

This is a heavy form of griefing.

Same here, I look at the wvw map and have to LOL. 1 server owns it all and its only tuesday.
When the map is like that you cna insta-pop to the wvw where there is about a dozen people just standing there and not 1 player from my team on the map.
I seen this issue coming in beta and wondered how long till it hits. So was about 1mo.
Would be nice to know Arenanets thoughts on this.

Realy can not blame them since Arenanet is allowing it.

Ya respawn camping ‘is’ a tatic of sorts and sucks.
Maybe something like if 1 server takes control of %90 of the map and can hold for like 6hrs then they win and the map resets.

I’m on Darkhaven and to say its a terrable server for WvW is an insult to terrable servers.

I have seem many servers pwning ours with little effort. An over time the amount of players who want to do WvW drops greatly which makes WvW even more of a wash. This week Yak’s Bend was in the line up and my server an the other one more or less just showed up to watch.
Since the rotation to this I have seen less and less players wanting to do WvW because who wants to insta-pwned?

In short I see no incentive at all to do WvW when the map is owned by 1 server and players loose interest in trying.

This is an issue and it will grow if its not looked at.
