Guild Wars 2

Only a few things I don’t like about WvW.
Is the 1-3 days my server does not show up on the map for owning anything and no one will go fight after that.

I just feel if 1 server owns all, the map should reset.
Seems pointless to leave it like that for the week.
From what I have seen, few will try to do anything, most will do PVE/story line.

I can live with this till they fix it, but thats me.

GW2 released Aug 28th.
Not even 1mo old.
Gotta give problems time to be resolved.
I’m sure Arenanet will comeup with something.

I never seen a game that I would call fair.
There is always some inbalance somewhere.

That game is not even out 2mo?

Gotta give them sometime to look into things as well.
If it is a big issue i am sure they are looking at it.
Some problems are not solved over night, takes time.

I been 2shots many times in WvW.
When I saw them players I avoided them and moved on.

The more you focus on an issue the worse it seems to get.

If I get wound up about something in GW2 I go do something else till I chill out. Thats me tho.

The game is played whatever why you like it.
If people want to spend $$ on this and that. So what.
I kill as many people and they kill me.
The only time I see a player killing people left and right is because they are a real lvl 80 in high end gear.

You can not buy XP, you earn it.
If you could buy XP then YES I’d say pay to level.

Relax dude. There is no monthly fee’s and its only a game. Nothing more.

The WHOLE point of GW2 is so the company makes a profit.
The $$ from sales of the game helps and users paying $$ for in game items keeps the game going.

So, what the issue again?
If someone wants to dump $100 into the game let them.
If this makes you mad (your not MAD are u bro?) then show them and spend $$ on items as well to even it up.
If you can not afford to buy items in the game get a job or a 2nd job.

Might as well join everyone in the top 10 servers sounds like.

WvW is fun at any level as long as you got a server that can PVP and work as a group.

I went into WvW a couple times since the servers got rematched up. starts laughing
Seems like my server just gives it all away.
Some sort of sale going on, ‘Take over 1 Keep and get 8 free.’

Seems like the worse a server get the more it stays on the bottom.

I feel like my server is only good for PVE.

Make the Lord a Grub.

Gooood times for sure.

They will keep tweeking the servers, but its not going to be fixed over night at all.

64-bit GW2 would have no real effect at all.

The button video would be nice, however there is already lag issues and if lots of people this button video thing it would make things worse.

Arenanet is not going to let hackers wreck their game. Gotta give them time to gather data.

Once Arenanet gets a handle on it the Ban Hammer will come out.

I was told once you target the enemy, right click their name to report them. have not tryed it yet.

Would be nice to see a few maps to get into rotation with WvW.

Gotta keep everyone guessing what to do and stuff.

Gotta attack at opposite sides of the keep at the same time.

The defending forces get divided real fast.

You can look at a bottle neck and point it out as the problem, but need a solution for the bottle neck.
I always wanted to see Team Fortress with 64 players. Nope… still only 32.

Lots of trebuchets hitting 1 keep is usually a good stalemate breaker.

Eve does better because I forgot to mention there is less to render. There is not ground, buildings for the most part and sky and weather effects.

So anyone turn down the graphics and try it yet?

I got fiber optic 25mb up/down
So internet connection was not the issue.

The strong get stronger and the weak get weaker.

Neat…..I see no issues at all.

But why does it work in Eve?

I will haver to try it at home later to see when i get off work.

Right after we took SM the fighting stopped and the lag was gone.

Need more Grubs roaming around the map.

I’m on DH and last night we took SM. The current owners of SM was not pleased we wanted to barrow the nice castle for the week so they was arguing with us about this ordeal. Was AOE spamapalooza in there.
I was an engineer and could not deply any turrets for like 3+min or my Support Supplies for over 5min.

Was fun, but the having Lagzilla at full rage really put a damper on it.

If we turn out graphic effect down will that help at all?

I know in Eve when you know its going to be a big battle turning down the graphics fixed it. Not sure if that would be the same story here.

Yes…..would make it interesting I think.

So taking a orb will make your server more powerful, but has a small price as well.

So red team takes blue’s orb.

On the map is a radious around the orb that shows the red players and seige weapons.

Not sure how big of a radious.

I like GW2 and having fun.

If the scores are pretty close, loosing is not a big deal cause it was fun.

Just when the matches are lopsided.

Ya, was figuring about 6mo after the game released till we get a good reading on what is what and Arenanet fixes/tweeks/resolves issues over all.

They need a Godzilla size Grub that goes across the map destroying keeps, tearing down walls, gates and crap. So makes it a nice random event where it must be killed.

Go to a server thats getting steam rolled.
Usually there is no queues for them.

Maybe if servers are loosing real bad in the WvW they get %50 all seige weapons.

So glad there is no monthly fee.
I’d be biting the keys off my keyboard and spitting them at the screen hoping to spell something that expresses my rage. LOL

I was on my engineer today.
The enemy was coming and drank my potion for run buff.
Was at the ogre camp. I was in the middle of the camp and they was just about at the entrance when I started to run.
As I am running I looked back and out of no where player run up to me like I was standing still, 2 shot me and ran off at a very fast speed. I was like 3’ from the exit of the camp.
Never seen anyone run this fast before.
So went to look for his name and ofc you can not see it to send a petition to have it investigated.
