On Thursday we finally completed our first guild rush! It was super fun Our next scheduled event is WvW on Tuesday, but there are still plenty of us looking for dungeon/fractal groups any other day of the week!

We’re on the lookout for many more people who want to get involved in some WvW. We just expanded our weekly schedule to two official WvW nights per week, and we really want to fill out the ranks with more people really enjoy running around in the borderlands and melting faces while capturing points.

Today is our designated PvE day! That means at 8-9pm est we will start up our guild bounties and get some more commendations!

We definitely are seeking more and more people to join and be a part of this ever-expanding community!

Don’t be afraid to apply! The process isn’t that bad at all- we’ve all went through it! I would love for more guildies to come and WvW with me… or do some dungeons. Anything really. This week we should have guild rushes going on, so we will definitely welcome you to the group!

But it was fun… we capped everything in YBBL, swapped over to DBBL, capped your stuff while you guys capped our stuff. Rinsed and repeated a few more times…. xD
But now that the fun is over, it seems like we’re back to normal.

Pretty impressive feat for me

i like WvW because I get to kill other people, take control over towers, etc. I pretty much enjoy every aspect of WvW, no matter if we’re winning or losing. I’m normally in the front lines, keeping them from advancing (for the most part..).
The only other PvP I did in other games was GW1, where I would be FAing and ABing constantly, because it was fun

Only queue that I fully know of was EB at like 2am EST for Yak’s Bend, and it only lasted a good 2 minutes. Other than that… I was sleeping until then xD

PvE night is still going strong, and tomorrow we will be doing a huge guild WvW night for server reset! Even if you’re still considering applying to be an MFer, you can be alongside us in WvW (that is, if you’re on the YB server xD)

Tonight is our official PvE night! Come and join us in doing fractals, dungeons, or maybe even map completion I know most of us do not mind helping low level fractal players go up in ranks, or help you learn how to do some dungeon pathways if you’ve never done them before!

i suggest you check out their website (tcgw2.com) and look around there. the hardest part about TC is trying to get your entire guild in before paid transfers start

i agree :p I know a lot of us on YB (or at least my guild and a few others) are just waiting it out so that our matchups will be more balanced, but who knows how long that will actually take with the rating system the way it is.

MF is an awesome guild I’ve been part of this community for 2 months now, and it’s nice to be able to converse with people regularly and have fun. Best part is that once a new game comes out that actually grabs my attention, MF will be there as well

This is my first week at Yak’s Bend, and I can honestly say this is the most fun I’ve had in WvW in weeks. Keep up the good work everyone!

right now every single server is very high, high, or medium. it’s been like this for at least an hour from what i’ve noticed. really great time to transfer to any server

I liked fighting Yak’s Bend the most. I was sad to see them leave T3 when they did I enjoyed the battles

Wow I am so not used to being red. I tried to get to EB using a waypoint, saw that both waypoints were contested. Took me a few seconds to be like “oh right…”

I remember wanting to join [Drgn] quite a few weeks ago when I saw a recruitment post and then I was sad that they weren’t on TC I was going to join but was not willing to server transfer, so I had to decline. But I was met with a friendly response after I said no thank you and explained why. I wish IoJ the best of luck in T3, and I cannot wait to see how TC is going to do in T2

have you tried closing out of the game window and starting it back up? I’ve had this happen to me numerous times, and just restarting the game fixes the issue for me

I feel the same way, most we can do is hope we atleast get something and if not keep complaining. I just can’t believe people who hadn’t logged on for days are getting them, that’s a real kick in the face.

I can’t believe that, either, Kurama — in fact I do not believe it. Talking to the people involved in the creation of the script, I just don’t see how an account that wasn’t even logged in — at all! — could get a chest. I would like to hear from someone who was in that situation, who flat out states, “I did not log into the game during the entire event, and yet I got a chest.”

• We have plenty of reports of people who got a chest who earned it.
• We have a few reports of people who got a second chest. (No, to answer the question, do not expect a second chest if you got one — those who got a second got it in error, but we’re not going to take it away, nor are we giving out “second” to everyone.)
• I don’t know of anyone who flat-out did not earn the chest who got one. I’d love to hear from that person!

I know I’m doing the “I know someone….” thing, but I know for a solid fact that my boyfriend did not log in at all during the event… actually none of the phases. He slept through the whole entire weekend event stuff :p But he did end up receiving a chest yesterday (I still haven’t).
And the reason why I know he wasn’t logged in is because my steam will pop up a message anytime he logs in (it automatically logs him in when he starts up his computer), and I didn’t see the “so and so is now online” pop up in game. I swear I don’t stalk him
Oh, and I also was discussing this stuff with him yesterday as well

Yeah! Gaile is the support mastermind, she just interfaces with the public while the developers scurry in the background to figure out what’s going on. They’re definitely involved, guys, don’t worry about that fact. I didn’t get my chest, and while I think I deserve one considering the criteria Gaile has described, I’m not all that worried. I’m sure it’ll get sorted out, and if not, there will hopefully be more super-awesome-epic chests in the future for me to try my hand at earning.

I appreciate the ANet teams’ effort in trying to reward people who suffered disconnects and the like during this event. I think that’s just swell and really commendable; most companies would say it was your fault and to deal with it. This sort of dedication to fairness is part of what separates ANet from the crowd.

Seriously; if you can’t have made up enemies in an online war game, what’s the point? Some where in my inventory is a ‘rabbit finisher’ for wvw. I’ve never used it. But what purpose can it serve other than mocking of the other guy?

The game has a pitiful number of emotes. They took out the ability to express oneself to the other side with /me. Can we not talk the smack here? Half the fun of playing Halo with my kids is listening to them taunt me. So make with the taunting already and lets get ready to let loose the dogs of war tonight!

This was the fourth time we killed people outside our lord room, the outer keep has not been breached for 24 hours+, the inner keep has not been breached for 48 hours+

Wow, this is a very lame tactic and needs to be addressed by AN. That’s certainly not intended by the game design.

What is lame is that Anet hasnt fixed this well known, since beta, terrain glitch. How hard is it to put up an invisible barrier?

No invisible barrier, rather a Bane of Leeching, that eats 10 character levels every time they pass through it.

LOL Can you please apply as a game developer? I would love to see Dhuum from GW1 cast this on them

^ what he said. I got my gallbladder removed in March, and the only way I was on the computer was when I was sitting in a really comfy reclining chair with my laptop in a spot where it wasn’t hurting my stomach.

FAs are doing well in EB, while TC swept Yakbl’s upgrades, battle for second place should still be intense till reset, or I would hope.

Did you get Yak’s and FA’s pp switched there? Or did Yak’s sweep the map in the last hour or so since the last update screens?

I wouldn’t mind it in the slightest. Would be nice not to continue reading posts that are constantly complaining about different servers all the time, but the combat is really nice.

pretty much that in its entirety was what happened :p Although in our case, it wasn’t a prevention of a supply camp being taken, it was he was in the middle of all of us killing off our siege (he even blinded me once)

Just wanted to elaborate really. It’s been real fun the last week and last night’s battles were really fun and intense, much better than what we’ve had in the past
