I have been on IoJ since day one and i can honestly say it’s been an honour to fight with such a great server, and alongside some of the best guilds and commanders i could ask for. Many of these commanders (and their comrades) have seen the ups and downs of our server, from the clawing our way up to tier 1 and fighting it out there, to our slow descent to tier 3 which came after we lost a number of well respected guilds in our community.

That being said the guilds that have moved on have their reasons and we all held (and still do hold) high respects for those guilds and the work they put in to the server. Also great respect to the guilds hanging in there and fighting for IoJ, Guilds like ND, uA, DRGN, Hel, TL, RUN, And of course the WvW guild i belong to, AVTR (I am sure many others i can’t recall off the top of my head right now)

All in all it would be nice to see more people / guilds coming to join our ranks, Given we have a fairly solid oceanic presence and quite a decent NA presence IoJ would make a good home for almost any time zone, and who knows perhaps some of these time zone holes can be filled.

I would really not be patting myself on the back to much there slick, you guys really dont have much to be proud of, you guys cant gain any ground in CD bl unless you wait until we are fighting both realms at once and I dont mean just at more than one area, I am talking about FA and IOJ fighting side by side against our twrs and keeps. You can deny it all you want but I have witnessed it at our twr and garrison.

I personally feel embarrassed for both FA and IOJ that the only way they can have a 7chance at our SMC is to come with 7 golems and 20-30 man zerg at 5am CST and still failed!!!! We maybe had half of your numbers at that castle in case you were wondering. Plus you guys had peeps hitting CDbl garrison at the same time with a golem and that one also failed! I dont know what to tell you guys.

CD we have alot to be proud of tonight on both fronts of EB and CDBL. We held off impossible odds at the same time. FA and IOJ, you guys go ahead and keep hitting us cause we just getting more and more points off of it. IOJ better get their act together or they gonna have to trade in one christmas color for the other for next week at this point, well, that is, unless they drop to T4.

It is a game mate, and this forum is here for constructive talk not to sling off at the other servers we face off against so try keep it as such would you? And I am not sure where you are getting your info from? We didn’t throw a golem at garrison, I was heading up this “assault” and not once did I think we had the manpower to actually take it. In fact we set up a treb at dawn’s for Lols and left the borderland to recap stuff you guys nicked on Ioj border. Then we returned in time to defend dawns for the tick and fell back to Hills to waste 30 or more of your people’s time while we bunkered.

That being said I must commend those who attacked hills, really pulled out all the stops and gave us agreat fight, was really enjoyable.

Xirin did I not say I tried to coax him to get a screenshot of him actually doing it? And I don’t run fraps.

The screenshot is there to show the distance for those who may have viable answers.. and timestamps / locations etc may help arena net investigate it if they choose to. I am not asking you to “solve a riddle with no clues” now if you have nothing constructive to say regarding the issue just stop posting on here.

And that’s what I’m saying.. the distance he was at is beyond 1200 range from there.. that distance I doubt even a warrior could hit with a 1500 range kill shot.. he was literally at the point where when I took a few steps back he dropped target and was in-targetable.

I do main a mesmer.. incase you can’t tell by my screenshot? So I have a real good idea of what they are capable of.. and a temporal curtain from ontop of that building? I’m at a loss as to how that could even be close to possible.

Yes I know a view can be spun around to look behind a character, I didn’t think I would have to explain the “exact” times he used this pull.. firstly it was when we were just jumping around and didn’t notice he was there until the pull because of the direction we were pulled to. And then he did it again as we were in combat with some other players (neither were mesmers at the time) at that time was when I decided is take a screenshot.. of where he was.. tried to coax him in to doing it again for a short while after and he never did.

So I put this up, I didn’t hide his guild / server name because it is only that, it isn’t a character or account name, and it is not just a question of “can he do this?” I know for a fact the distance is well beyond 1200 and the ability range is only 900. So I know there is something wrong going on here.. wether it be a hack or an exploit.. so I am providing what information I can with this screenshot, and asking if anybody knows of this exploit or issue. Or if he is perhaps doing it in some way I am unsure of.

We were in WvW jump puzzle having fun with some pvp and some Mesmer from Blackgate kept fooling around with us which was all good, and then he begun using his temporal curtain from an incredible range.. and pulling us, i attempted to get a screenshot of him doing this while the curtain was out but he would never do it while we were looking directly towards him.

the 3 of us have reported him for ’’botting’’ given there is no more accurate report manner and i thought i would put it up here with hopes of someone either shedding some light or a Dev seeing this.

Here is a screenshot of where we were standing as opposed to him, he was using his temporal curtain from the spot you see in the screenshot and placing it between the stairs / flat ground just in front of us.. it is well over 1200 range (even though the skill range is only 900) and i can’t help but feel there’s something seriously wrong here.

I would also like to agree with the OP.. Like Crazyjackal.6542 above the events happen at 3:00AM for me and the sunday ‘’do not miss’’ event falls on Monday morning at this time on a work day, Granted i start work early in the mornings myself so these events just mean getting up a few hours earlier and attending, then going to work afterwards.

Ideally i would like to see the events repeat every 2 / 3 hours over the course of possibly a 12 or 24 hour period to allow for all time zones, yes this takes away from it being a ‘’one time’’ thing but then it doesn’t throw out those of us who really want to attend and need to dramatically change our schedule to do so.

As much as i would like the above to happen it very well may not but i would at least like to know roughly what the events consist of rather than just ‘’get up and see what happens’‘. Although the halloween ’’event’’ was pretty cool this too fell on a work day at 3:00AM and i got up early to participate.. to find out it was for a cutscene that runs for less than a minute. if these events MUST remain as one time events i would like to see some kind of rough idea of what the event is, so i can decide if this is an event worth attending.

All this being said I’d like to say Thank you Arena net for making this game what it is and i really hope to see it going strong for years to come!

I’ve been having the EXACT same problem with the launcher being stuck on 1 file then saying to check my internet connection, everything i tried to my knowledge did n9ot work… I’m from Perth Western Australia, and i tried using hotspotshield as Olra.8972 said and it works perfectly fine?

Not sure how much this helps but i havn’t been able to log on to the forums all last night or this morning to post at all… But again hotspotshield fixed this problem, i now can perfectly fine with it running. Hope this error is fixed without having to rely on a 3rd party program…
