Yeah, guest to a different server if you want to log in with your character again right after Maw and change the map. Or wait a few minutes, then it will work on the original server again as well.

Maybe both crash bugs are somehow related, Lordryux. I hope they’ll fix both of those problems at once somehow.

My sylvari’s eyes went from purple to an ugly blue that doesn’t look good on her at all, so I really hope this will be fixed.

For me, the game keeps crashing at the Frozen Maw meta now right in the moment when the now toxically corrupted Svanir Shaman would die. I tried it with two different characters on two different servers and had this crash both times exactly when the boss died. When trying to log in with the character afterwards on the server that had the boss, the game will keep crashing over and over. However, I could log in with other characters or with the same character on a different server. I also got the daily bonus chest for the first character that I tried doing the Maw with, but I never got the normal chest on the ground. After a few minutes, probably when that ground chest has despawned, I am able to log in with the character and server again without crashing.

I’m not 100% sure, but I think the Toxic Spore Cleanser achievement has advanced for the Svanir Shaman despite the crashes.

Is this for NA or EU?

Not at all meaning to be impatient or to stress anyone – I’m sure all of this involves a lot of work – I was just wondering, have the prizes for the race and the other ingame events been drawn yet?

Not sure if this will help you, but just in case it does: If you have two identical ascended rings and upgrade one of them to its infused version in the Mystic Forge, your character can wear both of them at the same time.

If you prefer giving the ring to a different character, upgrading it to its infused version will also reset the soulbinding so that it will bind to the next character who equips it.

If you don’t know how to upgrade a ring to its infused version, here’s the wiki article: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Infused (And I’m not talking about simply putting an infusion into it, that’s not what infused means.)

Oh, and please note that an infusion you have already put into the ring will be lost when upgrading the ring to its infused version in the Mystic Forge.

I’m sad that this is overlapping with The King and Queen’s Horrorween. Same day and about the same time, too.

Exactly the same here… I even finished it thrice in that round. And waited for the timer of the round to end, just like Silferas. No daily achievement. No loot either after the first successful attempt since the trick or treat bags are no longer awarded. That’s very frustrating.

We have tried to do Guild Treks with our partner guild for several weeks now and only a single one out of about 6 or 7 tries did not have a bug that prevented it from being completed. For the bugged attempts, the glowing circle for one or more of the target locations would simply not show up where it should normally be.

We did make sure we’re at exactly the right spot when this happened by guesting to a different server. When doing this, we could see the glowing circle on the guest server, but as long as it’s not the home server, the circles can’t be interacted with, so guesting can’t be used to work around this bug, merely to make sure one is at the right spot where the circle is supposed to be and that this is indeed a bug, not a user error.

Since Guild Treks don’t award personal rewards and commendations like the other mission types, this bug harms exactly those small guilds that have not managed to accumulate enough influence so far to unlock all mission types and that still need merits (since big guilds probably don’t bother with doing Guild Treks). And exactly these already disadvantaged small guilds are forced to waste some of their valuable influence on Treks that are too bugged to work.

If this bug was rarer and would happen in maybe one out of ten tries, we could deal with it, but as it is, it’s absolutely not worth the effort because it’s a rare thing that a Guild Trek is -not- bugged.

Could you please look into this and enable us to do this guild mission type again? We – and probably other small guilds as well – would be very thankful if this bug could be fixed.

I got stuck in this quest today as well. There’s an enemy inside the ceiling of the underwater room with the first Abaddon Shrine and I can’t damage this enemy (as guardian) with either ranged or melee attacks or summons. And it was hard already just to locate this enemy. Since the shrine can’t be used as long as there is still an enemy, the only thing I can do is leaving the quest which is quite frustrating. Please fix this quest so players won’t get stuck any longer.

For ticket number 130827-000961, I have received the last message from a support employee on 08/31/2013 12:30 AM. It said they needed more time to investigate. Is still more time needed?

If this is blocking you from map completion, have you tried guesting to a different server to see if the NPC is stuck there, too?

Of course the one on Henge of Denravi still needs to be fixed, but that might be a workaround to get you your map completion without waiting for the bug fix.

Did you maybe put the Profane skin onto some pieces of armor purchased from a karma vendor or from a wvw vendor? Karma and wvw armor can’t be salvaged, no matter which skin you put on them.

I have bought 10k influence (Drinks for a Week) for 20 gold today, but even though the gold has been subtracted from my inventory, the 10k influence are not showing up. I figured it might just be a little slow and still show up later, but even after about an hour the influence is still not there.

Is it possible to still get the influence or get a refund of the gold I spent on it? Are any additional details needed, like the name of the guild I bought the influence for or the server?

Alternatively, to save you the hassle of transfering back to your old server and then back to your new server, you could invite another player to your guild who has your old server as their home server and whom you trust enough to let them empty your guild bank and mail the items to you.

No matter which server you are guesting to at any given moment, the guild bank you access is always the one from your home server.

Yes, guild members from other servers can get the commendations as long as they guest to the server that the mission is happening on and as long as they represent the guild while doing the mission. I know for sure because our own guild is spread over several servers as well.

The downside for server guests is that they can’t see the tab for the active missions in the guild menu, so you’ll have to tell them which targets you got. Also, server guests cannot participate in the Guild Trek because the glowing circles are not there for them, but since that mission type is the only one that does not reward commendations anyway, it should not be a problem for them.

Since a player can only guest to two different servers within 24 hours, make sure to tell your members from other servers to keep one of these two guest slots open for the server the missions will be happening on.
