Well, you can contact the CS Team and ‘Submit a Request’ for assistance via the ‘Support’ link above/below.

Good luck.

Wont help. They don’t do anything. (already asked myself)

~~~~~~
To clarify: When you ask the NPC to unlock the Hilt recipe he/she will unlock a different item. Doesn’t matter how many times you talk to the npc.
This easy to fix bug is in the game for atleast a month now. (just wrong ID linking..)
Worst part is: It DID work at some point and they broke it..
Working as intended..right? Right? ._.
Servers were flipped off the table…!
@ServerTechTeam
Are there known issues with protocol offsets (Rx & Tx)? Or something else every hopcan handle until the package arrives at the ncsoft server which can’t cope with it under heavy load? ( everything is fine during “dead hours”)
Maybe it’s something trivial.
I am not sure that I will be able to find out the answers to your questions, Starfall, but I’ll see if the devs are able to tell me the details you’ve requested.
(As a GW veteran and official Life of the Party and Incorrigible Ale-Hound, I’m thinking about going for the beverage thing myself. )
I beg your pardon? We were able to complete these titles over YEARS of playing Guild Wars 1.
Eastern, Wintersday, Talk like a Pirate, Chinese New Year, Wintersday in Summer.. you name it.
All of them dropped items for said titles.
To highlight the differences:
- Title will be locked away after the event so we have to redo it all over again next year?!
- 2-4weeks compared to ~7 Years…
- impossible to complete without TP (24/7 grind might work?)
Also being drunk in Guild Wars 1 gave you “anti knock down” with our beloved dwarven stabilty! It was totally worth it being a virtual alcoholic in FoW, UW, Dungeons (you name it)!
“Watch List” and “Inventory Settings” keep getting reset aswell.
(Not the Inventory position which was never stored to begin with; things like “hide single bags”, “highlight new items”)
Are you aware of this? / Will this be fixed aswell?
“The reality about FX visibility is it’s consistent feedback we’ve had on every part of Gw2 for years that people can’t always see what’s going on in combat; our design, gameplay programming and FX team are putting a focus on resolving this issue together. This is most important in WvW and open world PvE where it’s the most problematic and where we need to solve this the most, though certainly impacts other parts of the game from Raids to Fractals to PvP.”
Sometimes I wonder…let’s not end this sentence.
Yes we did complain about FX for the past 3 years but about what FX did we complain exactly?
Certainly not:
- good looking idle animations
- visually appealing fireballs and skills that feel how they are called
- skills we can see and differentiate from one another
What we always screamed for was a FX fix for BIG bosses where certain effects scale into oblivion and clutter the whole screen (eg. Dwayna).
Also the huge FPS drops for FireFX, StormFX and other fps dumps could be tackled instead (eg. Maw).
Yet you remove visible auras that clutter little to nothing and instead go towards a GW1 approach where we had to look at status bars the whole time because we otherwise didn’t see what was going on. I always thought this was something you wanted to avoid in GW2.
You really want to tell me that invisible egg shells around players do anything at all..?
Do not twist feedback from your playerbase around just to justify your actions. Yes we asked for changed but definitly not these kind of changes.
Why not go the extra mile and show this kind of stuff before implementing it?
Why not go the extra mile and put this in as a choice?
It’s not just A-Net that loves this game – we do too – that’s why we care so much.
Always keep that in mind when people go overboard.
Sincerely,
Someone that misses the open dialogs with you guys in random arena, temple and all the other froggy times.
For the love of all kittens,
Please stop removing content (of any kind) A-Net!
All these gorgeous animations – just gone.
First the amazing idle animations – scrapped cause of “immersion” (give them back!).
Now all the good looking fighting animations.
What is next? Remove of camera rumble, low res textures to further “improve” the e-sport experience?
If you want to make things less “visually overloaded” implement OPTIONS to do so.
Stop removing things from the game.
Did all the old dev’s from the old animations team leave or how can you guys justify these decisions? It’s crushing my soul to see this happen all the time in GW2.
The art and visual style is one, if not The Best, thing about the Guild Wars franchise.
Sincerely,
A very sad Guild Wars ’o’holic.
Hello,
I just picked out a small aspect of alot of different classes i guess.
Strength:
Reflections and any class that has access to them.
Mostly in Dungeons and Fractals. ( Probably in all other areas too.)
Kryptonite:
Completly removing the purpose of those reflects by making them NOT WORK at all.
Not mentioning it anywhere in the Game.
How are new players supposed to be figuring this out on their own?
“Oh there are projectiles. Let’s get them back to the enemy! OH! It didn’ work… all dead!”
Sollution: In my opinion so simple. Just give each projectile reflected a damage cap OR cap the maximum damage being reflected but still let it work as intended!
So there are no more monsters/bosses who kill themselves by being reflected and new players still can rely on using what they think is right. And yes of course there can be exceptions like giant shooting lasers. But not this random picking of attacks just cause something is getting too easy.
There should be a better way to do this! Thanks for your time. :-)
