Wait…
…..There’s a 3rd server in this tier?
I was bumping the thread lol
Open on Anvil Rock at 3 pm PST. Come on in!
Is it possible to get a video sometime soon of the condition damage build?
to the top with you!
I don’t usually post on forums, but the amount of trash talk from any of the three servers is embarrassing. I thought this week was extremely challenging and fun. I’m not part of a large guild, but I do roam quite a lot. Neither of our servers achieve the level of coordination that other tiers can boast, I don’t see why everyone thinks they’re hot kitten because of that. Have some kitten humility and enjoy the game for what it is.
I also disagree when people say that BP hibernates all week. Two days ago we queued up AR’s BL and attempted (unsuccessfully) to take hills. You guys threw a solid defence and it was a lot of fun.
Tl;dr This(these) thread(s) makes me ashamed of BP, and it should too of your respective server. I get this is a competitive game, but we should all remain respectful.
I’d have to agree with this. Like yeah, we understand this is the part of the game where we are pitted against each other to destroy and humiliate one another, but then coming to the forums to call shenanigans on tactics or brag because a small coordinated group took out a group 2-3x their size and call them bad does not promote anything but ill will to eacother. This whole week has been pretty freaking close as most points and has been very back and forth. Make the most out of the last couple days of this week eh?
To summize the entire thread.
PvP happened.
Grats to you guys for taking SM back finally after like 8+ hours =P
Commanders bailed and everyone scattered. Hard to organize a defense against a zerg without a center voice to listen to. We’ll be back soon >=D
I swear for a while earlier this morning when SM was being flipped every 10-20 minutes, NSP and BP were working together in these zerg fests, just one after the other lol.
But this afternoon, the two hour standstill with BP and NSP on either side, catas firing into the lord room, thieves picking off our pack dolyaks until we had 2 flipping group to escort them. That was some of the best pvp I’ve seen in….ever. I love you guys…
Sincerely

Leblanc De La Torre
The original idea was to make an armor set somewhat similar to Leblanc from League of Legends, then i found a nice mix set I just can’t be without. Might make an offset later though to fulfill that original goal.
Really like the step by step through levels and how to play, allowed me to refine my ability order a bit and kill things WAAAY more efficiently. kitten near took down a champ spider solo at level 42 (I messed up and got downed and couldn’t rally).
Also you forgot using 5% karma food, ice cream.
Well here’s a problem. the guild karma buff only works on dynamic events
Thank you much.
It’s a bit odd that a game in this day and age doesn’t allow you to rebind scrollwheelup and scrollwheeldown. Some mice (Razer) allow you to rebind the way their buttons work but others don’t.
Anyways, would be greatly appreciated.
Ah ok that’s kind of what I figured. I use a Logitech G700 gaming mouse that uses setpoint software, unlike razer however it doesn’t allow remapping of the scroll up/down. So I guess I’ll have to find alternative means until Anet implements remapping of scroll wheel.
How in the hell did you bind mouse scrolls to abilities? Macro with mouse software?
When leveling between 40 and 60 and then subsequently 60 to 80, what would you recommend in trait lines? Which Should I max first? Obviously greatsword training in 20 domination would likely be very important as early as it can be taken.
Also what are some of those keybinds? Like your main auto attack looks like it’s bound to the hyphen key, do you just have it set to auto cast so that you don’t need to worry about it? Also curious about your dodge key.
Do you use Combat Mod with your setup? Looks kind of like you do.
My Mes Leblanc De la Torre, only level 36.
To the top with you!
I got the idea from a post on reddit. I’m still missing the helm but I personally love this look.
Helm: t3 Asura cultural (working on it!)
Shoulders: vigil
Chest: t1 Asura cultural
Gloves: Vigil
Legs: Vigil
Boots: t1 Asura cultural
Why the hell aren’t you more angry that we don’t have cool finishing moves like tossing the scepter and catching it like a boss when we kill something?
You pick the most useless things to be kitten off about.
Also using the sonic boon build and it’s pretty freaking good.
http://www.guildwars2guru.com/topic/74697-build-sonic-boon-shout-greatsword/
Yeah I was looking at his build and it’s mostly where I got the idea from it.
Well I guess maybe my question on it for leveling is whether or not the build still works when missing 20 or so of those points. I’m level 58 currently and until 60 I wouldn’t be able to dump 30 in either tactics or defense, but once I’m 60 I still need to choose 1 to not have 10 points in, losing either Vigorous shouts, which is the biggest source of healing, or the might stacks on weapon swap. I’m assuming the latter vs the former would be the wisest choice but it does gimp the damage slightly.
So I’ve been using greatsword since like level 10, I’m just shy of 60 currently and much like just about everyone else, I’m becoming painfully bored with GS. Yes the damage is crazy and it has good mobility, however, when it comes to being mobile AND doing the crazy damage GS is lacking. Enemies with knockdowns (or god forbid, multiple) can shut out a good part of your damage by kicking you out of Hundred Blades. Also when channeling if you see a big attack or aoe coming your way, your choices are either to eat the damage or stop to dodge. I really hate that kind of simplistic flowchart gameplay. What’s more, GS is very dangerous and kind of inefficient for running in dungeons (same reasons as listed above but even more so when boss attacks can easily kill you instantly).
So my question is this, how would Axe/Mace fair for leveling in terms of being able to grind out hearts and things and move on as well as soloing events? What would be ideal point allocation? Skills used?
I say axe/mace because it’s seemingly a staple for most warriors in pve as well as pvp currently with the double vulnerability stacking, the slow, the short ranged stun, and high damage axe 1 and Eviscerate.
Is there any viability in using this for leveling?
You can turn off “Autotargeting” in the options menu to avoid that.
