Class balances on Feb 26 ?

As other already stated, alot of the hate is down to bleed cap.
On necro i have to have 2nd set of power gear and be ready to respec before i do any dungeon/frsactal with guild. Simply down to what other classes are coming. I need atleast 15 bleed stacks for myself or my damage gets much worse and im waste being there. More than 1 condition class is not viable. Heck even the useless bleeds off warriors/mesmers interfere with my damage.

Theres little point having these classes right now in a pug especially as you dont know what spec someone is first and time trying to organise around that.

Also i think its due a nerf to the warrior greatsword trait, 20 pts for a trait that basically gives you perma 20-25 stacks of might. How are other classes supposed to compete with that. Rework it to have a cooldown and long duration maybe only give max 5 stacks if alot of crits are done in short time. Right now is so unbalanced.

I dont see how you can compare necro damage with warrior right now.
My necro has more berserkers equiped than my warrior but a simple comparison.
I go to cursed shore attack a 80 undead mob. Warrior can just do 100 blades and its 15-16k damage each time the mob is dead in 3.5 sec. No banner/on my mark, just perma fury from signet/FGJ

My necro does very low damage in comparison, even with a dagger which i would never use in any dungeon. It slowly hits mobs hp down. Only time i burn mobs down fast is with both wells or lich form but that isnt a good comparison due to long recharge.

Axe im seeing 800 crit autoattacks and the channel ability only doing around 5.5-6k, its single target only so why should it be doing 1/3 100 blades ‘AOE’ damage? The weapon alround seems bad
The attack speed on life blast is so slow also, and forces a weapon switch to staff to do full damage. It still slowly chips away at mobs hp the bars arent dropping anywhere near as fast as a warrior.

Overall my necro slowly reduces mobs hp, which im fine with because the survivability is there. My warrior is so squishy in comparison.

I thought i would add to this post to keep it going as i feel it is an issue.
I farm CM alot. Paths 1 & 3. Recently i deceided to try condition build out on necro, i got full exo rabid gear with karma & token.
Previously i did this as a glass cannon mesmer and a mixed zerk/knights warrior. Never had any issues dieing other than silly mistakes.

Now onto the necro:
Practically every bandit pack im full focus of all the mobs, all rifleman only seem to exclusively use their red target attack on me. And im rushed at by thugs and other melee bandits.
I tried to keep out of range and let wars/guardians be in battle first, but it seems as soon as i begin to do attacks i am focused. Looking at health bars its only me taking dmg/getting conditions. The middle bosses on both routes seem to just tunnel me aswell. Its got to the point now that ive done the instance enough with this build to know to take both specrtal wall and armor to try keep myself alive and tanking, going condi dmg shouldnt mean i am the groups tank.

It feels like in this game making yourself tougher just means you take more dmg in a dungeon which makes no sense..

I cant see any other gear choice other than dropping condi dmg down alittle and going for rampagers. to gain power & more crit over toughness & some condi dmg.

As a final note i think the aggro behavior varies between some mobs, in fractals i dont feel am i focused at all, my high survivability is really effective there and doesnt just reward me with more incoming attacks. maybe they programmed newer ai differentl behavior?

You probably missed those. Other than that there is a rocky area in mertrica that you could of missed. cant remember the name but theres no poi in there just a passage.
Check the blurred areas on your map to the wiki maps if you still have some left.

I would rather explore the world getting 100%. Or just roaming between 3 orr zones doing DE’s to grind karma with doing a few dungeons than doing smite crawler runs for weeks. This is a better grind than gw1.

My only complaint is i wish they would of made karma account based. After hitting 100% you feel pretty much forced into doing cursed shore events as only way to gain that currency. It would be nice if i could go back and do the other areas with hearts again on alts and still work towards the gear on my main. Or some way to reset them like a ‘prestige mode’ lol.

Heres an example. Its disgusting. Enemy team 8 manned until end and held 1 cap point whole game. Their reward for losing was earning more than double the points of the winning team.

The points from kills alone on team score make it almost even til the end.

Yup the scoring system is pretty terrible. It should share out the kills and caps etc. to whole team so you still get credit while trying to cap points and win.

The worse thing is if you break away from the zerg and try to take down treb or a point alone and get 2-3vs1’ed you gain nothing and have wasted several minutes for 0 score.
Some games ive just been gangkitten constantly by trying to actually win or take out a treb and ended on under 50 points. Then next game i just run with zerg for easy 200+ points.

Its not the damage i hate, its pretty easy to counter bad thieves. And they are generally alround squishy.
The problem i have is with the constant condition resets on the heal with stealth. Its like if a bad thief jumps me and i completely destroy him it wont matter because they will just stealth at low hp and be gone. If i chase where i think they are going i end up getting 2-3vs1’ed.

The condition reset combined with stealth just allows any moron to play that class and get away with being bad.

You will beat a bad thief at some cap point and 10 sec later he is back button 2 spamming in your back while you fight someone else.

Cof Explorable, is it too easy?

Cof explorable is the only dungeon we found difficult. Path 1 i think it was end boss seems totally unkillable unless you take some setup of burst classes. All thieves/ranger/warrior perhaps. i went in there as a mesmer and we had no chance to kill the crystals in time with my 200 dmg autoattacks. This was as a 5 man guild team all on mumble that had cleared many others paths in dungeons no problem.
